Drumming Uncut Studio

This isn’t so much a review, but a reminder to anyone who is trying to go here.
Please check the calender first, otherwise you’ll probably end up like me outside of the shop.

Jason is a real class act. I took my five year old for his first drum lesson (first MUSIC LESSON), and Jason was not only great with my kid but really cool throughout the entire drum lesson. It was a free 20 minute evaluation that turned into almost an hour. Thank you, Jason. We will be coming back.

Jason is a very knowledgeable person about drums. He can teach you from very beginner to advance, and he also teach about the music notes while you learning drums.
He is very patient, he won’t rush you to next level if he know you are not ready. He will go by your pace. Excellent instructor to go for if you truly want to learn how to play with it.

I genuinely can’t recommend Jason enough as a teacher. I started taking lessons from him about 7 years ago when I took his course at the PCC, and I haven’t looked back since.
Jason is patient and thorough in making sure that your fundamentals are down right, but passionate about music, and stretches me to play stuff that I didn’t think I had a chance of playing when I first listened to it. I thoroughly enjoy lessons with him — learning from him is seriously good fun.
Great guy, great teacher, and I recommend him to anyone who asks.

I have been with instructor Jason Blair for few years in his drum lesson class. He is most patient, nice and easy going teacher, I know. When we do the music reading in class and we don’t understand something, he would use a different way to explain to us. I have learned so much from him. He is a very good drum teacher. I have enjoy his class very much, and I recommend him and his classes.

Jason is as great a drummer as he is an instructor. He is knowledgeable about all facets of drumming and music. As an instructor, he is methodical, thorough and patient. For anyone serious about learning the drums, Jason is a serious and committed teacher that will get you there and the journey will be fun and rewarding.

Jason Blair, owner of the studio and teacher, is amazing. He has taught our son extremely well. Jason focuses on the fundamentals, and is meticulous in his attention to detail. He has made our son into a talented and versatile drummer. I cannot say enough positive things about Jason. We are extremely pleased.

Jason is easily the best teacher I’ve ever had and I’m not exaggerating. He’s also the best drummer I’ve ever met. If you haven’t seen him play, you should come by the studio and check him out.
He’s very knowledgeable in anything drum related. He’s all about technique which is what you would want when you’re learning a new skill and want to learn it the right way. He’s very friendly and easy to talk to. He makes everything very easy to understand. If you’re having trouble on something specific, he takes the time to figure out what the problem is, why it’s happening, and how to help you fix it.
As the other reviewers have already mentioned, he’s awesome. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else when it comes to drum lessons. Jason is the best drum teacher you will find.
PARKING:
There’s a parking lot behind the plaza where the studio is at but that gets packed pretty fast. There is also another parking area across from that lot, which would probably be your next bet. There are also a parking structure and another parking lot less than a block away that you can park at if you really can’t find any parking. All are free.

Jason is extremely knowledgeable. He has superb interpersonal skills, never making his students feel inadequate. He’s flexible and loves to teach. In fact, his ability to take complicated musical theory and songs, break them down in an easy-​to-​understand way, makes him stand above the rest. He’s top-​notch and is highly recommended.

My daughter began drum lessons w/​Jason last year when she was 6years old (to my understanding this was Jason’s youngest student). He has been nothing but patient, professional, focused and fun all simultaneously!
I highly recommend Drumming uncut. I believe that things will only continue to flourish and thrive for this company and its students!
