Lots of fabric with some deals. Just know this is not the fashion district so don’t expect those prices.
They do have a good variety though.
Parking was in the back and I wasn’t sure if there was a back entrance so I just walked around.
I wouldn’t go back since the fashion district is close enough with better deals.

I wanted some cheap fleece for a no-​sew project and found this place here on Unilocal.I was not disappointed! The place is tiny but wall to wall fabric! Not a huge selection but you can’t beat the price and convenience. I found dirt cheap solid colored fleece. The woman who helped me was polite and efficient. I was in and out. I will definitely go back. Much cheaper than big box stores.

Great find! Our girl scout troop needed fleece material to make blankets for their silver award project. The selection was good on solids& prints, and the cost is $ 2.50/yd — 60 in wide-​this is half cost of what you would pay at JoAnns. The lady was very nice and helpful. Street parking is available right outside the store and is Cash only, no tax.

I wanted to find a cheaper place to buy fabrics than Joann’s, and my mom recommended this place to me. It’s a lot smaller, not too many customers, but if you find what you want, you will definitely get a better price than at other retail stores. I was on the hunt for fleece fabric to make some «no-​sew» blankets, and I was quite disappointed with the selection at My Hop Co. There were only about 7 different designs; granted, they were only $ 2.50 a yard, but the selection was so limited that I left not completely satisfied with my purchase. But if you are here to buy fabric to make clothing (cloth and whatnot), this store has a ton of variety.
The man who helped us wasn’t too friendly and basically after we were finished buying some fabric, kicked us out of the store. Also, in comparison to Joann’s, the cloth isn’t cut as neat or as straight as they do there. I came out with two very uneven pieces of fleece.

I’ve never seen so much fabric in front of my eyes in my life! I cannot comment on the prices (I strode along with someone who wanted to go here), but one thing is for sure: there is a large variety! Seeing as how many of us may know someone that sews fabric with their own little machine, I cannot help but respect this place. What makes this place even better is that it is situated in the San Gabriel Valley, away from what you’d find Chinatown. In other words, it is easy access! It is pretty much a hole in the wall, but when you find it, it might just be worth every penny you spend.

ohmygosh so much better than Joann’s. now the store may seem shady when you walk in and the man who owns the store may not seem as pleasant, but if you buy alot a try not to bargain with him then he’ll be really nice :]. i do alot of crafts and i make my own clothes and stuff sometimes so i use alot of fabric so when i found out about this store i loved it !! i try not to bargain with him because i want to keep him in business and its alot cheaper than Joanns so what the heck just pay the guy ! :]

This place is great! Their prices are a lot better than Jo-ann’s. The selection is not as wide as Jo-Ann’s but if you are looking for some basic solid fabric this is a good place to go. They occasionally have some good bolts of print fabric, however. The store is small but the service is friendly. They will be able to help you if you can’t find what you’re looking for.

I needed to find a fabric store nearby since I hurt my ankle and there’s just nooooo freakin way I’m going to walk around that hell hole called downtown, so I went hunting to El Monte, Temple City, S. G, and nothing till I found this tiny little spot in Alhambra… yayyyys! She has really cute prints and really nice fabric for really cheap. Its not the greatest selection but when you have too many choices you just don’t know what to buy. Anyway, this place rocks. Now imma go get my sew on, biatch!
