Shakey’s Pizza Parlor

Sometimes this Shakeys is a miss … But today it was surely a hit! I ordered 6 large cheese pizzas and 6 full order of mojos for my 5 year old sons bday party at school. I needed the order by 11am. We got to Shakeys and there was a long line for the lunch buffet. I Was pleasantly surprised that my order was ready and waiting. They even assisted me with my order and packed it in my car. Thank you Shakeys for making it run so smoothly.

Tried to place a phone order a couple of weeks back. I was put on hold for about 10 mins. I was stuck in traffic so I persevered and called back. I was curtly put on hold once again and it took another 8 mins before I hung up and called again. I had to quite angrily remind the person on the other line that I was put on hold for so long. And it seems she didn’t remember she placed me on hold twice! Her reason was that it was a busy time when I called. I suggest that if it were a busy time, let the customer know and either have them call back or call them back! Basic customer service that this place seem to lack.

The MOJO potatoes are the best. Salad bar is great for lunch. Pizza is average at best.

Great customer service. The food as always remains delicious. Clean, spacious, big tv’s, children’s play area all make for an enjoyable evening with out-​of-​town family!

Pizza here is soooooo good… especially if you order it thin crust. (I like my pizza more on the crispy/​crunchy side). Although more expensive than your regular chain pizza joint, it’s well worth it. Pizza, mojos, and chicken. eat it while it’s hot for the best experience.

Love this Shakeys! Great service, clean interior and the pizza, chicken and mojos are always cooked perfectly. Great atmosphere, love the island bar in the middle. The brunch is yummy with a great selection, both my 16 year-​old and 3 year-​old enjoy it very much.

Lack of knowledge on their own software led to this review. Their online ordering system is supposed to make it convenient and effecient. They tried to double charge me when i arrived after i already paid online. The manager made me show her my bank statement to prove the that i had paid. Apparently, my email receipt was not enough. Now i have soggy cold food to bring to a birthday party.

Okay I’ve been coming to this shakers for 10 years it’s always clean and service is great when I go to bunch of lunch I always ask for a special pizza and they always accommodate me with what ever I ask for they won’t give me the whole pizza but they will take ½ to my table as the cashier Ashly is very prompt and gets customers in and out asap soon as I get to the register they know me and know pizza I’m gonna ask for I hope the people who had bad experiences try this shakes again the manager is always asking customers if everything is good or if they need anything

I was there on Monday for bunch of lunch it was great to see a manager going to the tables, asking how was everything it was my first time at shakys i sure will be coming back, she definitely make sure it was a nice experience, thank you gisele

One of the only tables available is dirty so I ask one of the girls if she can clean it whenever she had time, she never came so i started doing it myself. Then we go to the arcade area & theres about 10 games, 5 out of those 10 were broken. Took about 4of my coins, the manager didnt replace it. While we went to play the games i left my unused plates & full drinks at our table, thinking since they see the plates still clean they’ll know were coming back, NOPE someone came & cleaned up the table! So i asked for more plates & while im getting food theres hardly any pizzas out. It was just a horrible experience all together & i wont be coming back.

I came here to try the bunch a lunch on a tuesday afternoon when I was relatively empty. I found that the salad bar had very poor looking lettuce and the other items coming out of the kitchen were very limited in quantity.
When I think of Shakey’s I think of the mojos and during my visit to this particular Shakeys and deciding to buy the bunch a lunch… it took over an hour for mojos come out upon management scrambling to get them as everyone was asking for them!
Apart from the mediocre salad I did enjoy my pizza and I did enjoy the chicken that was available to eat. The food was prepared hot and ready and apart from that I really didn’t have a problem. The staff came out more than twice and asked us if we needed any more napkins or plates so I found that very professional of this food establishment. I hope to give this place another try and a better review next time

I love shakey’s but the food really sucked today. We ordered the medium pizza deal with mojos and chicken. The pizza was dry and cold. The chicken and mojos were very stale as if they had been under a heat lamp for a while.
The customer service was awesome! In all honesty, if I am spending $ 30 I expect the food to taste fresh. Very disappointed and won’t be back to this location.

Shakeys Pizza… need I say more, I love the atmosphere here. It’s so kick back and chill. service is good and the kids really enjoy themselves everytime we come.

Had dinner with family! Had a really good experience the moment we got there we were greeted with smiling faces. Pizza and chicken and Mojo’s were great as always. I did notice there was no one collecting tickets for prizes I waited for 5 min still no one seemed to be around!

I like Shakeys! I know its kinda old fashion, kinda funny décor, kinda not so hip. I guess its the overly spiced sauce or the not sure if its real cheese cheese, but its GOOD! I love the chicken despite being $ 20 for a whole chicken its pretty darn tasty. My buddy loves the Mojo’s, not me cause I am not down with wedges but for wedges, they are ok! I been going here since I was a kid and I dont see that changing soon

Heard my friends talk about this place for some time and have been eager to try it out. Place is pretty small inside. Very lively atmosphere inside. Mostly catered towards families as they have an arcade for kids inside. They also have a sports bar with tv screens so you can watch the game. I ordered their meat lover pizza and mojos which were pretty good. Mojos are just thinly sliced potato wedges. The pizza was okay. Not the best I’ve had. I think this is a great place for families to take their kids for dinner. They have a big parking lot out front, so you don’t have to worry about finding parking.

A buffets goes, this place isn’t very organized or good. Typically buffets have a stack of clean dishes so you don’t re-​use your used dishes. Not this place. You either have to ask for a clean plate or re-​use your used plate. There is almost no one on the floor to clean the tables or take away your used plates. Your stuff just piles up. Service is pretty non-​existent.
This place is very dirty. Floors are sticky. There is an «arcade» area for kids and bar area to watch your games. It is like a Dave ‘n Busters but ¹⁄₁₀^th the size. Considering this, you might want to keep the place cleaner. There are no windows so it is a bit dark.
Now the food. For a pizza buffet, there aren’t many pizza options. There were only 2 types of pizzas available. The fried chicken and mojo potatoes were plenty and okay. Salad area is bare and needs fresher and clean stuff.

I’ve been here a few times and the service is always quick.
I do tend to stick to the Pizza Chicken Mojos combination. I get a meatlovers pizza that is decent, definitely on the higher end of chain pizzas like pizza hut/domino’s etc.
The mojos are delicious– nuff said.
The chicken is super salty but damn that stuff is good. I live near shakeys and I smell the chicken when I drive by. So good.

If it wasn’t for fundraiser for my daughter softball team I wouldn’t come here. I only come here once a year to support her softball league.
The place is small and couldn’t accommodate all the guest that attend to support the league.
Pizza thin or pan style has WAY too much sauce, for those who like sauce on their pizza then great but this sauce is just blah.
Chicken is a bit greasy and no meat really on the chicken.
Mojos are the best here, thin slices of potato’s. It’s almost like a flat french fries.
Salad bar, bleh, the lettuce was all brown and nasty in there, you would hope they come and check it once a while to make sure the lettuce is or how clean it is.

Great for kids! Good for fundraising opportunities!
Shakey’s fundraisers are a great way to bring groups together, and to bring parents and friends to support your cause.
I hold fundraisers for me HS band here at least once or twice a year. Our band is small, but we always get a decent amount of money back from Shakey’s and that pays for daily supplies, and goes towards uniforms. Shakey’s gives your group 25% of the total food sales minus food tax and beverages. They also send the group contact a coupon for a free 1-​topping medium pizza. Not a bad deal.
Ambience ⁴⁄₅
Very energetic. In the early evenings there’s always a group of little kids running around. There is an arcade where kids can win tickets on some games. Kids (and adults) can then trade in tickets for various useless trinkets and toys. Thankfully, there is also a beer and wine bar for the parents.

The staff is always very nice, and I’ve never had a complaint about the service here. Staff clean tables very soon after patrons leave, and the restaurant is always clean. Manager is always really nice when handling our fundraiser.

Big lot to park in and it’s never full. Don’t trip.

Not the best pizza I’ve ever had but it gets the job done.
Firehouse pizza: I always get this. Thin crust pizza with spicy sausage, basil, onions, pepperoni, and other things. Really good balance of flavors.
Mojos: Just the right amount of crispy outside and fluffy inside.
Chicken strips: Dip them in their scorchin’ hot sauce. It’s not bad, but definitely not very spicy.
Overall ⁴⁄₅ Yeah!
A decent spot. Food is always consistent and the restaurant is clean. I’ve never been here on a night I didn’t have a fundraiser, so I wouldn’t know about going here by yourself or with a date.
