guess this place is closed, but I think the same company/franchise also does West Covina

I’ll miss the cheese toast. The last time I can remember eating here was about 10 years ago. They didn’t cook either the steak or the baked potato right. But at least the server listened to me rant about my awful commute from my former workplace on the Westside. Oh well, more parking spaces for Costco and Souplantation.(I figured Souplantation would win this duel of the salad bars. Sizzler may have been first here, but it’s been second fiddle for a long time.)

I can report this Sizzler location is CLOSED. No more unpretentious salad bar, no more dirty carpet, no more mustachioed waiter delivering the famous garlic bread. It was hard for Sizzler to compete with so many much better dining options nearby. I think we all knew this would happen… but I always thought it would happen to Just Grillin’( ) first.

I came here about a week ago with my employers as a end-of-the-year party. Their service was extremely professional and courteous. I don’t know if it’s just because we had a large group but if they treat all their customers like how they treated us, then I will definitely come here more. Our waiter was constantly asking if we wanted more bread and giving us fresh plates for the salad bar. On to the food! –I got a tri-tip steak w/baked potato. Medium rare. Tasted great. Would recommend for anymore. I didn’t eat the baked potato as I was too full from the salad bar and soup. –I’m not a salad person but I ate the salad and I liked it so give it a try! They kept the salad bar clean and filled. –I also got the tomato basil soup. It was on the salty side but just how I liked it!

For the price the food is okay, but the salad bar is kept clean and stocked well. What gives this place a 5 out of 5 is the evening servers. Both servers that I have come across so far have been absolutely terrific. They work hard and are very deligent and all the while being very very kind. Without these two servers I would rate this place a 4 but because excellent service sometimes makes the food taste better I gave them a 5. Keep up the good work! Parking can be a monumental task when the costco is open. This Sizzler is located on a parking lot that is shared by Costco, soup plantation and a few other retail stores. Sometimes I have seen a free valet service available to the Sizzler customers(free doesn’t mean you don’t tip them!) then that really makes life easy. I don’t know how crowded it gets for lunch but if you want to go for dinner I would travel to get there past 8 – 8:30pm, that’s when the parking lot starts to open up a bit.

You know I had to get a quick bite to wait for a haircut. I went in thinking the worst and came out«hey I will come back again». I didn’t get the lunch buffet but next time I will. Besides a salad bar they have a taco bar. Comfort food at its finest. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with fries. The fries were pretty good, crispy and and just right. The chicken was juicy…

Kind of pricy, the steak is good, but the salad is not that good. The service is nice, with some waiters.

Came here with my mother on a Sunday — aka Costco day. After looking for parking spots for half a decade, we finally found a spot outside Sizzler… without knowing that Sizzler actually hired a guy to tell people who aren’t going to Sizzler to get out of the parking section. Excuse me? It doesn’t even say«Customer parking only!» I was too lazy to spend another year looking for a parking spot, so I suggested to my mom that we should go eat at Sizzler. Yeahhh, bad idea. First of all, as mentioned before, we went on a Sunday. Yup, Sunday, the only day going to the salad bar during lunch time costs as much as the usual dinner price. $ 22 for two, but that wasn’t too bad. The worst part is that they only serve tacos, fried chicken, some fruit & salad that has probably been sitting there for a long time, and ice-cream(weee). The only good thing about this place is the good service, and I really appreciate the waiters and waitresses for doing whatever they do! I just wish whoever is in charge would put up some more stuff or just buy fresher fruit. Oh, and our cheese bread was burnt.

I know the parking is extremely horrible because of Costco. Boyfriend and I was encountered by a man with white hair, a bit chubby questioned us where we were going after we parked at their«permit» area. This supervisor or manager was just plain rude because he automatically assumed that we parked at their«designated» parking spot to go to Costco. Funny, while we were walking up to Sizzler’s front porch area, we turned around to check out Souplantation. Immediately, this manager told us we couldn’t park here because it was reserved for his restaurant. I questioned him 3x if he really had a permit, but he got nothing to how me(he only pointed at his clipboard). He told me I could call the cops to ask for a permit myself. I was so upset at the way he treated us, we just left. Why would I want to eat at this restaurant when a manager cannot even treat their customer right? They can pay me to eat at their restaurant, I still won’t go.

Steaks are surprisingly good. The cut I got could compete with the $ 30 steaks. The waiters are very pleasant and at the ready to serve. The chairs were a little sticky.

Was forced to come here after their neighbors next door, Soup Plantation, had a lonnnnng line. Went for the salad bar. TRASH! Most of their pre-mixed salads were empty and stayed empty for almost an hour. The junk food section: taco bar, pasta bar, chicken wings, was all dried out under the heat lamp. Drink selection is pretty weak + expensive. never again

We come here every so often. The food is average American fare. They have pretty good deals for about $ 10 that includes the AYCE salad bar. The grilled shrimp dinner is actually pretty tasty. The chicken wings from the salad bar are also really good. Also, the cheese bread is AWESOME! Sometimes I go there cuz I crave the cheese bread :) The service and food quality is better at the Anaheim location, but this one is close to home. I come here cuz its inexpensive, close by and cheese bread/chicken wings!

Sizzler’s always confused me, but I think I’m less confused now after my 2nd trip. I believe it to be a hybrid unhealthier Souplantation & Applebee’s. $ 9.99 for dinner for their endless salad bar($ 7.99 for lunch) and if you want to add a protein(steak, chicken, fish, shrimp, etc. with a side), it is a few dollars more. Drinks not included. Their salad bar is actually comparable to Souplantation, in my opinion. Their premixed salads(about 3?) looks kinda gross, but the make your own salad has great variety and their veggies are fresh. Only 3 choices for soup(but super salty — clam chowder, chicken noodle, chili). Now, my favoritest thing of all: unlimited FRESHGUACAMOLE! They have a taco bar(lettuce, salsa, mexican rice, carnitas, mystery beef, hard/soft shells + more) and you can make as many tacos as you want. I prefer to make my own nachos with heaping mounds of guac. As part of their«hot appetizers» section of the endless salad bar, they also have spaghetti & meatballs and FRIEDCHICKENWINGS. Super small selection of dessert: fruits, cobbler, very melty soft serve. I think there is only 1 server that mans the entire restaurant. You seat yourself & he brings you the protein/side if you ordered it + bread rolls. He also brings you extra plates for your endless salad trips & refills your drink. Don’t forget to tip him! He does a really great job taking care of all the tables. The quality of the food is what you expect for the price point, it is a nice change from always going to Souplantation… especially when I feel a little bit more gluttonous.

Quick lunch before heading out to lacma. They have a list of new lunch item menus that comes with one trip to the salad bar at a awesome price. Wow so much food for the price. It’s a deal. If you want more trips to the salad bar it’s only additional 1.50. We ordered the lunch steak strip comes with a baked potato and of course a trip to the salad bar. No complaints for the amount of food we get for what we pay. Simple and tasty. Of course not the best quality in the cut of meat but it gets the job done when your just hungry and need a bite.

Oh no! They’ve changed their bread to honey rolls! They are just not as tasty as the cheezy bread. Apparently, you can still request that, so I’d suggest that you get the cheezy bread as an alternative to the honey rolls. Today, I purchased the Hibachi Chicken Lunch Special. The waiter was very quick to bring out the chicken, but the chicken was okay. Nothing special except that the chicken was rather dry and the hibachi sauce was not so great either. Luckily, it was supplemented by my tasty baked potato and the single trip to the salad bar. It seems like they cut back on some items in the salad bar but at least the salad was good. The service is great here as the servers are rather quick to please their customers. I am just wondering why they decided to change the bread? I think that is a staple of the Sizzler franchise. Whoever made that decision should be reprimanded.

Sizzler can reel you in with their deals, but for someone to stay they really need to change up their food quality. It’s like being advertised HD DVDs and then receiving DVDs of VHS-quality video. Food: I’ll have to admit, they are good at certain times. The times I went, only 1 time was actually good. Then again, the item that was good was the salad because… well how can you screw that up? Wait… *thinks about Sbarro* nevermind I said that. Anyway, their prices are decent but you get what you pay for. Don’t expect an extravagant meal here because what you get is far from one. Service: Their service is okay. They serve you, they clean your tables, you leave tip, etc. I’ve experienced better service. Environment/Location: Location is inside the plaza with Souplantation, Costco, Furniture Expo, etc. Parking is HORRIBLE most of the time. That doesn’t help with my rating for Sizzler. The inside of Sizzler is also very cramped and claustrophobic in my opinion. The person who designed this must have been claustrophilic. Overall: 2⁄5 I’ve experienced better service, better food, and better environments elsewhere. It really fits with the Unilocal rating to say to Sizzler the following: Meh.

It’s Sizzler’s. Food is OK, but if I’m going to splurge on steak, I’d get a really tasty one from somewhere else. Sizzler’s always has nice salad bars. This one is decent, but I’ve seen better. Employees here are really nice.

Sizzler; I just see all those nice(big) food pictures . Of course you’re starving and you want this steak and that fish and those shrimp and some of their food. My salmon($ 11.99) came out perfect and I ordered it with fries. All these years, I had it with brocoli(Ihate brocoli) until today when the hostess told me I could substitue it with fries. It even came with an all you can eat salad bar. Love: My huge one foot tall ice cream swirled into a five inch cone with all the trimmings on it as I walk out the door and everyone is staring.
