I dread the bad news that comes with the territory of dentist visits, but Dr. Wang and his attentive staff have completely turned my perspective around by making all my visits pain-free. My first visit was several years ago to have my wisdom teeth pulled. On the initial visit, Dr. Wang advised to let the wisdom teeth grow to maturity in order to avoid shots and surgical procedures. A few years later when I had returned, he simply plucked both wisdom teeth out in a process that took 10 minutes to complete. No chipmunk cheeks like my high school counterparts! Although I’ll admit I’m not the only fortunate patient: several friends and my sister who have also visited Dr. Wang had similar experiences removing their wisdom teeth virtually without downtime or pain. More recently(few weeks ago), my mother had six old dentures removed for new replacements. My mother had not been to a dentist for over 20 years for her immense fear of the pain, but as I had also recently learned. she saved up those funds to assist with university tuition for my sister and I(that’s LOVE). Since her original dentures had not been maintained for years, they’ve molded and complicated a commonly straightforward procedure. Somehow on my mom’s first visit, Dr. Wang was able to overcome these obstacles and successfully removed the rotting teeth to prepare the dentures. For the past week or two she’s been wearing near perfect temporaries awaiting replacement, but so far the experience has been great. I’d also like to note that ample parking is available in the private lot in the back. Be cautious about the parking restrictions in the neighborhood side streets. By the way: Dr. Wang operates an office in Echo Park on certain days of the week. Give the office a call to confirm their schedule if LA is much closer to you.
