Target Optical

I could not be more pleased with this eye center. I was a bit skeptical because I wasn’t sure what kind of care I would get since it was in Target after all. But after trying to make appointments at other eye centers and having to wait for weeks, I decided to give Target a try.
First of all, I got my 5 year old daughter and myself, in that same week at a time that worked for us. Dr. Lee was so patient and caring in dealing with my daughter. Everything was so easy, it seemed like it couldn’t be true. We were both in and out in an hour and then walked right next door, picked out frames and ordered.
We got our glasses the next week and now every time I go in to Target to shop, I stop by and they adjust and clean our glasses for FREE!!!
Honestly the nicest people that work there!!! We will never go anywhere else!!!

Dr. Lee is both qualified and caring. I have been a patient for about 3 years now. I had a concern about my vision during my last appointment so he did some extra testing so I could feel at ease.
I have not purchased contacts or glasses here but they let you leave with your RX in hand so you can shop around, which had been a problem at the doctor I was seeing before on nearby Mareblu.

These guys are great. My wife recently had scratched her eye and was unable to get in to see an Opthamologist as it was late in the afternoon. She called Dr. Lee and he was closing up for the night but was willing to wait for her after hours to help. Then after all this he even checked up on her the next couple of days to make sure she was doing well. Dr. Lee and his staff went above and beyond great customer service… Will be referring everyone to him. Thanks again guys.

Overall my experience here was very positive, the only down side to the minus one star is that. Your glasses will take a minimum of 10 days to get them, which is a pretty big bummer. Everyone there was extremely helpful and the warranty seems like a great buy!

I can’t believe the bad reviews either. I went in for an eye exam… which no one seems to be commenting on… which was great. The fill in doctor was great (other doctor out for some reason). Very understanding since I was late (got lost).
Then I went and tried on glasses. Yes they gave a hard sell on contacts –thanks but I can find them cheaper elsewhere — but they had a great selection of frames. I haven’t gotten any yet but will most likely go back there. Friendly staff.
I cannot comment on lens coating quality.

I can’t believe this place has bad reviews. I looked up the Unilocal to get the address because I forgot exactly where this target is. The lady that I felt with Andrea was simply amazing. This was ⁶⁄₂₇. I walked in. Never been to target optical before. They have a good selection of glasses and as every girl who wears glasses know we TRY to reinvent ourselves each time and probably only do 10% of the time. I tried on many many pairs and she just stayed with me and put them all away no questions asked. All said and done she got me hooked up with a very cute pair. Sadly I lost them and now I am on my way there to get another pair. I never felt rushed or hassled. They send out their glasses but I was quite satisfied with the turn around time. It took 5 business days.

I’m really bummed about this place. I decided to go here instead of Walmart (where I’ve gone for years)
I got the target brand frames (99 $) but got talked into getting the most expensive lenses with this special coating on them. I asked if they had a warranty and at the time the only thing they had was 90 day replacement.
Apparently now they have a warranty program in place.
So I had my first replacement at about 30 days after I got them because the «special film» starting chipping off. They said that this never happens and replaced them without a problem.
When I got my new ones within a week it started peeling off AGAIN!
By this time they had a warranty program in place and said if I wanted I would have to purchase the frames again (99 $) and the lenses again too but at a discounted price?
Um…NO!
So now I’m just walking around with wicked bad chips of missing film that they told me would «help me see way better!»
I’m gonna get new glasses soon and will be going back to Walmart.

Only a few Targets have an optical center and they don’t advertise, so it’s not crowded, no waiting, better selection than Walmart for nice frames and both the doctor and the staff that work in the optical center are so nice and friendly and engaging. I needed prescription sunglasses and they were done early so they called me! Great service!

I came here after some idiot broke my frame at my optometrist’s office and sent me back to where I purchased my frame (target). There was an awesome girl here who helped me and was super friendly. I am never going anywhere else again!!! I don’t care if I have to pay a little more since my insurance doesn’t work with target… I recommend this place :)

Awesome Service and Follow up from Matt. Very patient and took the time to work out issues with my insurance. Can’t say enough about how much help he was and how quickly they turned the prescription around.

Can’t say enough about the service at this place. Remember to bring your AAA Card and get a 30% discount on your glasses frames.
Had my test done elsewhere but got my glasses and contacts from here. I can’t remember the guys name, it was something Hughes, but he’s great, very helpful, deserves a raise. Don’t waste your money at your eye doctors on glasses and contacts, come here!

Friendly helpful service in ordering my new glasses, lack of follow-​up! Was told it would be 7 – 10 days, 3 weeks later still hadn’t heard anything so I called. Was told someone would follow-​up with me the next day, as it was a Sunday. 4:30pm next day no call. I called back… stillwaiting.
So the staff are all super nice, however, nice people does not = great service!

I love the people who work there. there’s this one woman. Lisa. I think she may be the manager. She is so helpfull! My dog chewed my glasses and I was soooo upset. I called AFTER hours and she picked up. She actually went through my options with me! Amazing. and she was nice about it! Stupid Dog. cool lady!

I have been here before to check out their selection and prices. It’s a very small area that tucked away behind the check out stands. They have a small selection and they do not seem to be very knowledgeable about the products. I find it tiresome and troublesome to buy glasses here. I would not trust them with my eyes that’s for sure. Word to the wise… go to Costco to pick up glasses and contacts. They have better deals and more knowledgeable people. The service you get can sometimes be good or cranky but at least they know their stuff. The worst part is the line you must wait to get them at Costco. Yes, they are just that popular unlike here.
