I’m always so happy when i leave here. Chris does an awesome job on my curly hair! Never one complaint about how my hair looks when I leave. I moved out of the area and had my hair chopped up by someone in the town in now live in … So while I was in Aliso for a quick visit I went to see Chris and my hair is back to normal! I will never go anyplace else.

Very good salon! The wash is included for the cut and the price is great ($ 20 for men & women, $ 13 for buzz cuts, $ 16 for children). I had Chris and she listened to exactly what I wanted and cut my hair just the way I wanted. This was my first time here, but definitely not the last!

READ, READ, READ !!! Do not go to MeMe!!! ESPECIALLY IF YOUR BLOND! ALL BLOND’S STAY AWAY. PLEASE, TRUST ME! I’VE BEEN TO MEME ONLY TWICE AND SHE ENDED UP COSTING ME $ 850.00 DOLLARS.
The first time I went into this salon I saw Mimi. I went to her after waiting 15 weeks for my hair to grow out, after it had been damaged. The first time she left the bleach on and fried all the hair to the top of root making me look like the row of hair across my face was a cotton ball. Over two inches in of hair was gone.
I had to go back the following day and she reassured me it would happen again and, apologized. So I made the mistake in seeing again BC I thought, overall, that she was a kind woman and, I knew we all male mistakes.
The second time, I requested that she check the toner, NOT once but, 3x only BC she wrote it down the first time however, that wasn’t true. So she decided to take her sisters word instead of my request and toned my hair into a dark ash brown; I was devastated and, crying. I had a head shot (photo shoot) that night and, not only did I loose $ 350.00, I didn’t get out of there for over 4 – 5 hours!
So as I crying in the chair, she said what we needed to re-​bleach and tone my hair sayin, «o’no, dont cry, yes, yes, I make you beautiful; we work together, we work together». In the end it only worked out for MeMe.
Because she was in a rush (not knowing I too needed to be somewhere, she then started repeating, «I meet husband, he’s making me dinner. So she ended up quickly applying more bleach on my hair and then, toned with the toner we had used the first time I saw her. Once that was rinsed, I noticed she didn’t leave the bleach or, the toner on long enough. I kept asking her please, please, leave the toner on longer. She was again, insisting she was in a hurry so for the first time, after having my hair done for 20 years, I had to go sit in my car in hopes shed leave it on. I went to go in and ask her again, to please leave it be for 5 more minutes but she insisted it was done. It wasn’t done at all. I ended up walking out with brassy roots that looked noticeable and, incredibly embarrassing.
After we were done she slipped on her lie about dinner when she told me she was pucking it up from the grocery store herself and she charged me twice as much as she had before. She told me to come in about two weeks so, I called today to see when it was a good time, also clarifying cost and she had lied again and said she was going to charge me the full price after having followed her request.
In the end, after 2 appointments, I ended up spending $ 80.00 for the 1^st time I went in $ 135.00 the second (when she ruined my hair) $ 80.00 on products and $ 50.00in tips. I need up loosing $ 450.00 in work BC, I have contracts to abide to for work (re:hair or, any major changes) so again, I lost two shoots. Going to MeMe twice need up costing me around $ 850.00 dollars when all she did was make me look as stupid as I felt.
Worst experience in 20 years and I’m not a picky girl.

horrible place!!! chris ruined my hair! instead of listening to what i wanted done to my hair she does something complete opposite and frrrrriiiieeesss my all of my beautiful long hair then has the nerve to charge for a hair cut she made me get and still all damaged.
if u wanna pay for someone to make u go bald then this is the place for u!

I had to find a new place to get a haircut in Aliso Viejo, as the usual suspects in town were either increasing their rates or had ridiculously long wait times. Thankfully Unilocal led me to Top Salon.
Mimi, one of the stylists, gives an excellent cut and knows the trendy styles. She is also real fun to talk to, especially during football season.
The pricing is definitely a value. Men’s cuts even include a shampoo.
I’ve never received a haircut from Chris, but every one of her clients I’ve seen seem real happy. She is also fun to talk to.
Give Top Salon a shot. I’m sure it will be worth your time.

Here’s my experience with Top Salon.
I woke up and decided I needed a hair cut on the stop. I called different places in the area of Aliso Viejo, and for a Men’s haircut, salons charge an arm and a leg. I have pretty short hair and as a guy, and hair style, a stylist can do my hair in 20 mins top. So I called Top Salon because they came up with great Unilocal Reviews, however not as many as they deserve, and they took me in right away (within 20 mins), and their prices were reasonable.
Since the moment I showed up, I received beyond amazing customer service. The ladies were absolutely friendly and very talented. I will certainly keep coming to this salon more often now that I know they are in a great location of Aliso Viejo, and they do great Men’s cut, at a reasonable cost.

Now remember, to patch that hole on the wall from the very unfortunate leaking because no one wants to see a hole in the wall as they are getting their hair wash. Very unfortunate thing that happened to you guys. I hope your next door neighbor pay for your damages. However, always think about customer experiences. Would you like to see a hole on the wall as you are getting your hair washed? probably not. it sends the wrong impression! You guys have a wonderful salon, and it will be unfortunate to have a visitor think something negative because you have a hole that needs to be patched. Again! SO HAPPY with their services.

Top Salon is a hidden little gem! I had no idea it was even there, until I went to Bistro Anju (which is also an excellent sushi restaurant right next door, btw)! Who knew… so many greats in Aliso Viejo!
Mimi is awesome! She does exactly what you ask for! I told her I’d like to go shorter one time, and she told me NO! haha! She told me that I wouldn’t be happy! So glad I took her advice… she was right! I was just having one of those «cut my hair short» moments! She also gives the BEST shampoo’ing job!
The ladies are super friendly at this salon! So happy I found this place!

Just moved to the area and found Top Salon on a Unilocal.I was looking for a nice salon close to home. I also needed to get in quick. I was able to get an appointment right away. Mimi took care of me. I needed hair color, highlights and a trim. Mimi was great. She has many years of experience and did a very nice coloring my hair. My gray was wiped away! I will be going there again.

Chris and Heidi are the best! I used to work next door to them and would go get my hair done there whenever I needed a touch up and everyone always left looking phenominal! They know how to do anything and everything and always put in the extra effort to make you happy. They are very accommodating and know how to meet the needs of their customers! Priced better than competitors anc are more reasonable. Also, they are in the specialty shops next to the car wash and el pollo loco and its so much easier to get in and be able to find parking with ease-​compared to the towncenter which is always a hassle getting in and out. Way better experience overall! Take my advice and stop in Top Salon-​walk in totally fine!

I got a cut and style. I have long hair and I’m usually picky abt my hair. Mimi did a great job. Loved it! I also got a 2-​tone highlights for my fair and loved it. Def going back. Also probably the best prices around Orange County.,

I needed a touch up on my roots and this place is fast and price was reasonable! It’s very close to my house. Love this place!
