I took my niece to Dr. Bishop s office on the recommendation of a dental specialist I know socially. He is a dentist, but only does specific procedures she didn’t need… thank goodness! The price of the initial visit, including exam, cleaning and x-rays was reasonable and well worth it — about $ 79. I’ve seen it for less elsewhere, but I was very happy with the friendly service we received here — even though I told them up-front that she didn’t live with me and probably wouldn’t be a repeat patient… at least for awhile. She hadn’t seen a dentist in a long time and was pretty nervous about the whole thing, but the entire staff put her at ease and made the experience a very positive one for her. The technician(male, sorry I don’t remember his name) who cleaned her teeth was especially nice and did a great job. He shared that he hadn’t seen a dentist at all until he was a teen, and that seemed to help her relax. Although there are several dentists in the practice, Dr. Bishop saw her himself and reported that she didn’t have any cavities(what a relief!), and recommended that we hold off on orthodontics for a year or so. We did get a whitening kit and she was excited about the idea of making her teeth look better and motivated to take care of them in the future. From what I could tell, the prices at this clinic seem more reasonable than other practices in the area, and I was definitely pleased with the service.
