Every time I go here I find something I love. I really enjoy how many unique items they carry while avoiding being cluttered.

This is hands down the best consignment shop i have ever been to, and if you haven’t been to it you really need to stop in! All the prices are really good and they have the most unique things, I have accumulated multiple cool things since the store has been open and everything is authentic and they take the time to make sure their items are real and up to par. Also the owners are extremely rad and welcoming! This place for sure deserves 5 stars because they are amazing !!

Every time I’ve come here to sell clothes it’s been a nasty experience. The owner has had a poor attitude and although I prefer to deal with locally owner and operated shops, your best bet is to walk up Harvard and go to Buffalo Exchange. What she was willing to give for clothes vs their clear value and the snarky comments make coming into this shop an unpleasant experience. I’ve been in here multiple times over the past months and the staff is constantly changing — there has to be a reason for that, right?

Well organized space with lots of cool furniture. I want it all! They also have shelves of knick knacks, electronics, a record section, and clothes. Check out the sale shelf for some really good deals. Even my boyfriend(who hates thrifting) likes to go here with me.

This place has everything I like in a second hand shop. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and they are constantly changing out inventory. Their vintage clothes are always the best priced around, and you can find some really rare relics including sports memorabilia, vintage toys, jewelry, instruments and one of the better selections of records, cds and dvds in the area. In the fall, they excel at finding high quality used furniture at unbeatable prices, though they usually have an impressive stock year round. If you plan on visiting boston, count on stopping in. I always leave happy.

First, in general, this place is very cool. The furniture they offer is unique, interesting, and generally of good quality, but not way overpriced like most places around Boston. Love it. Second, I bought a hutch for a new house, scheduled the delivery accordingly, and then the house closing got delayed two weeks. They were super flexible about holding onto the piece until I was ready to receive it. That was such a stressful time for me, and I really appreciate how kind and accommodating everyone at Rock City was. Will definitely return as often as I need any furniture!

This is one of my favorite consignment stores, because the inventory is well curated. Everything is cool! The balance between items is great too. There’s usually nice wood furniture, a few racks of vintage clothing and jewelry, and tons of miscellaneous cool things like old toys and fancy teacups and ceramic unicorns. They also lower prices on items or put them on sale when they realize the price is too high. Something rare! Most places in Allston would prefer to keep inventory for about 100 years instead of lowering the price $ 5. This keeps the deals good and means the inventory moves faster than nearby places like Cheap Chic. Another rare thing: every cashier/employee I have met has been awesome. They are usually friendly, laid back, and have a good sense of humor. I doubt I’ve met everyone, but so far so good! When I move, this will probably be one of the few places I will take the B train to visit.

I LOVE this place. It’s a real gem– Angela and her husband are awesome, and the selection changes constantly. They have good taste, too– all of their inventory is unique and in great shape. The prices are great– I always leave feeling like I got a real deal. I took in some clothes, knick knacks and jewelry to consign(which I’ve never done before) and I left with a check for $ 80! It was awesome. Now that I’ve been in there a few times, if I’m looking for something(size 9 boots, a tv, etc) Angela will keep an eye out for me and email whenever something comes in that she thinks I might like! I would definitely recommend checking this place out.

Drove 5 hours to come to this shop to look at items saw on Instagram and the woman in the store had such a nasty attitude I don’t know what her problem was at all. She was very rude and unprofessional. I’m sad I had to even rate this place one star.

I love used clothing stores, and used furniture stores. I never went in here before because the Spiderman mannequin, guitars and other wierd«vintage» window things were not my deal. Went in today on a whim. There are two racks of women’s clothing, which I didn’t search thoroughly, because how much will there be for my size 12 self in that small a selection? A bunch of nice wooden dressers and some desks all in good condition. A wide assortment of wood planers. A lot of loud costume jewelry. And $ 5 cassettes. I found a house wares thing I wanted at an acceptable price, and the cashier was nice. Overall it’s far more OFFBEATANDQUIRKY focused than I am, and I am more than a bit quirky. Worth a visit here and there, esp if you need a dresser.
