This place is the bomb I order from here frequently and they’re super good. Super full of flavor which is sometimes hard to find in an American Thai restaurant. Always get the food relatively quickly and I have it delivered. Recommend for sure the regular pad Thai but also pineapple fried rice, big daddy rolls, fresh rolls, and basically anything from their vegetarian menu.

What I love about the Thai Place is the authenticity of the food. This is a small mom-and-pop restaurant and you can tell they put a lot of care and love into the food. The portion sizes are generous and everything was super tasty. Beware that some dishes can be very spicy like the papaya salad. I would recommend going at off-peak hours so you can sit and dine-in since seating is very limited.

This is my NEWFAVORITE restaurant! I ordered take out through Foodler. The food was INCREDIBLE! Golden bags, veggie tempura, Thai chicken salad. All marvelous. Generous portions of sauces. Best of all, it was all packed VERY carefully so nothing spilled or dumped out. A pet peeve of mine with other restaurants. I will update again, but right now. They are A#1

Great hole in the wall in Allston. I mostly get the pork plates and love every single one of them. The staff is very friendly and service is good. I come here at least 3 – 5 times every 6 months.

I’ve only ordered delivery here and they’re really hit or miss. If they could get their quality to be consistent, they could really be one of my favorite places. 5 stars for their crab rangoons, I usually hate them but theirs are yummy. 4 stars for pad see ew, I had to add soy sauce to get the right flavor profile, and their pork was very overcooked. 3 stars for their crispy basil chicken, not impressed. Mostly sweet and sour sauce, no basil, not crispy. 1 star for their veggie tempura. Soggy, no flavor, all went into the garbage.

Their Indonesian fried rice is just brown rice with burnt chicken, and an egg. Extremely bland. The chicken seems as if it was cooked five days ago.

Good place. Only 4 – 5 tables but I ate there. Food was real good and obviously fresh. I live nearby I think I’ll order occasional delivery and try more of the menu. Recommended.

There is a place on the next block that I love but decided one day to try this place. I am not a picky guy but I did get the sense that the woman behind the counter was pissed off. My intuition was correct as she answered a phone order and grimaced and PUNCHED the counter in front of all the customers. A guy came from out back to calm her down.(Must’ve been a bad day. We’re all human.) She did seem to take solace in the Taylor Swift music video playing on the TV above. The food wasn’t bad but I found it to offer a LOT more white rice than actual entrée. My tofu royal and spring rolls weren’t bad but when all is said and done I decided I have no need to return when I can just go to S & I To Go(which I reviewed previously) right down the block for a much better experience.

I discovered this little hole in the wall just recently. There are only 4 or 5 tables for eating in. Mostly a take-out joint. Everything I’ve tried so far has been good: Spicy Beef Salad, Chicken Curry, and Basil Fried Rice. Damn that Basil Fried Rice was super spicy! The staff is friendly and the service is fast. I’ll be back again for more!

Absolute worst experience I’ve ever had when ordering! Do not place an order with them unless you have at least an hour and a half to wait. I tried canceling my order after waiting 1 hr 45 mins, and they told me the delivery man would be «right outside now.» Ummm okay. I was pleasantly surprised that after nearly 2 hours of waiting the food was hot and tasted delicious. I then became disenchanted to discover 2PIECESOFWOOD in my pad thai. What a disgrace, since their food is great but their service CLEARLY needs improvement.

This is the best Thai food I’ve had in Boston, possibly ever. And trust me– I’m a Thai food snob. The secret is to order off the Thai menu. No, you can’t read it, but if you describe what you want to taste they’ll recommend something for you. I was lucky enough to have a Thai friend with me who could order, and I had the yum(? Spelling?). Think larb with glass noodles and triple the flavor. But let’s be real here– they’re not messing around, spice-wise. If you can handle your heat, the yum and the spicy papaya salad are tough to beat.

Don’t know how their food is, because it hasn’t arrived yet. We ordered food and it still hadn’t arrived over an hour later. No call, no update on time. Usually if it’s going to be much longer(and GrubHub’s estimates are usually longer than it actually takes), restaurants call and let you know. When I called, he said the driver had just left and it would be another 20 minutes. Nope.

I am Thai and I think this place is awesome. They have two menus: one in Thai and one in English. The menus have different items on them. But if you really want to try northeastern thai food, ask them to recommend something off of the Thai menu. Koh Moo Yang is a must here :)

Mhhhhhhhm! This Thai food was FAN-TAS-TIC! My boyfriend and I got this mango/pineapple curry dish with shrimp and a salmon dish with tamarind sauce. SOGOOD! AND! Their crab rangoon were the best I’ve ever had! So much flavor in the dishes, not too hot/spicy, very sweet and savory. If you’re going to get Thai food, this place is the spot!

I’m Thai, I visited Boston fit the first time and went there because my friends here took me. I’m a Unilocal fan… I was a bit unsure if I would like this place base from the reviews here… I give them 4 stars because of the taste for the food… Nothing else impressed me

After browsing GrubHub for about an hour, my boyfriend and I decided we couldn’t go wrong with thai for our night in. We were luckier than most, as our order came within 45 mins– 1 hr, which was quicker than they said it would take. The food wasn’t awful, but I was disappointed because whatever I received was NOT what I ordered. I ordered the garlic entrée with tofu. This was supposed to come with baby corn, mushroom, broccoli, snow peas(and maybe a couple other vegetables) in addition to the garlic sauce. What I got was chicken, with carrots, broccolli and pineapple. And the brown rice I had ordered as a side. There wasn’t even an entrée that included these things! I don’t know if it was the end of the night and they just threw a bunch of stuff in. As for the chicken vs. tofu. Good thing I am not an actual vegetarian or I would’ve been having spring rolls for dinner. It tasted good enough, not a lot of sauce, but plenty of garlic– but again I was disappointed as this was not what I wanted. The other item we ordered was correct and the spring rolls were good– and all the food arrived hot(and in one piece) but with over 220 places that will deliver to our apartment in Allston, this one will not go to the top of the list…
