Very rude customer service by the sales guy and when I talked to the manager about it he said we just hit the 100k mark, we can’t be that bad. Seems they are all pretty bad, use to be my favorite place to get things, not anymore

This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I placed my order on 3÷9÷15 and cancelled it within the hour(plus a 20 minute hold) when I realized the fridge was too large. On 3÷10÷15 they charged my account for the fridge. I waited the typical 3 – 5 business days for a refund. On the 5th business day after repeated attempts to call… all with holding over 20 minutes before I had to move on, I could not get a hole of customer service. Finally, the next day, I was able to hold for longer and finally got through to their customer service. The girl took my order number down and put me on hold. For 15 minutes I listened to the same 1 song playing over and over again unsure if she forgot about me or what. She finally comes back and says she processed my refund and I should get my money back in 5 – 10 business days. I have never had such a terrible customer service experience.

Sales guy was on us as soon as we walked in and wont leave. His response was very rude when I told him we want to look around on our own and don’t need his help. We decided to walk out. I would think twice before going to this store again…

I’m in the process of getting a new house, so I wanted to shop for a refrigerator, and a washer/dryer. Having shopped for appliances in the past few years with my parents, I knew exactly what I wanted. HHGregg was my first stop since they’re supposed to be one of the few stores, besides a giant like Brandsmart, to have a good selection. Honestly, I’d like to give this a place a higher rating, but the salesman was a little off-putting, and here’s why: CONS 1) I didn’t appreciate immediately getting«attacked» by a salesman once I entered. I have no intention of buying immediately, and i couldn’t get Bert to leave me the f*ck alone because he said he was going to «educate» me on fridges. When he was about to leave me alone, he came back twice to tell me about an LG fridge(a brand which I have no interest) and then to tell me to look for the orange stickers which means they’re open boxes. 2) The salesman was being WAY too judgy and overstepping his boundaries. When I mentioned I was in the process of getting a house, he started saying I probably don’t want to get an HHGregg card for the 5% off purchase, because it would obviously ruin my credit score if I’m getting a loan. Sir, I know what the hell I’m getting into with buying a house, I’M NOTSIGNINGUPFOR A CARD, AND you have no idea what my finances are like to be dispensing advice. PROS 1) Good selection. You’ll see different brands and different options. 2) They have a price comparison computer that will ensure you’re getting the best price. 3) They just started a 90-day guarantee where if you purchase a product and the price goes down, they will adjust the price for you so you get your money back or you’re financing will adjust to the lower price. I can’t remember if they said this also applies if you find a competitor that lower their price too. 4) If you need to postpone your delivery for any reason, they can do that but if you are financing, you still need to pay for the appliance even if it’s not delivered. Basically, I hope you don’t get Bert. He means well, but it was off-putting because I like to browse first before I ask for help. He’ll answer you questions and try to teach you(so I had to keep telling him that I’ve done my research with Consumer Reports). However, given HHGregg’s 90-day policy on getting you a great deal, it seems to difficult to pass up. Service-wise, it was bad to me because it’s not the shopping experience I wanted. However, I’ll probably end up making my purchases from here because of selection and the 90-day low price guarantee.

How do you take a happy new tv just purchased really excited to get it day and make it aweful. Simple. Pick it up at this location and have the manager be the one to get your internet order for you. So ill try to explain without getting my blood pressure up again. Yesterday I spent 7 hours researching to buy a new tv. If your like me. Then you cant afford to buy a new tv for 3,000 bucks. So I wanted a good dependable one with a few options. In short. I went with the Toshiba 47LN5400U. Its a 50 inch slim line LED tv in 1080p with a refresh rate of 120hz and wifi capable. A huge step up from my busted walmat special 42 plasma. Anyway after getting some direct attitude from the manager I can only assume because I ordered the tv from HHGreg website. He dissapeared to get my tv. No biggie ill jist look around and see what else this place has. After all I need new cables and maybe a sound bar or something. Oh good 15 min past and my tv is back. So I walk over and ask what I feel to be a standard question. So is this a good tv. And boom lets crush the customer with attitude. He proceeded to tell me that its just an ok tv. And that because I did not buy the new 4k model I would not be able to use this tv for very long. as he explained everything is switching to 4k and the picture quality of this tv would be useless after that switch is made. So here I stand with a brand new tv and the manager is basically telling me I wasted my hard earned money. There were so many ways he could have handeled that and retained a future customer and possibly even upsold me the next tv I need. But no instead I got a free buffet of attitude with a side of belittling covered in a helping of shame. And to top it off when taking the tv out of the store. He did not even want to roll it on his hand truck the 5 parking spaces up where I was parked so I had to move my truck to the front of the store. No biggie. But he was on his cell phone when I got the truck there 2 min later. He almost dropped the tv before I caught it and took it from him. Loaded it my self and turned around to see he was gone. Ive said it before and ill keep saying it. Unemployment here is almost 7%. If you dont like your job. Someone else will be glad to do it for you. Good luck if you buy or pick up here. I suggest if yiu have to that you avoid the management.

Definitely WOULDNOT recommend this H.H.Gregg. Dan Grecko, store manager, is rude and disrespectful. My husband and I returned a tv well within the stated time under their return policy. We went to a different store than the one we purchased it from because we were in town for church and wanted to check the nearby Frys(only two in the state). We realized when we got there that we had forgotten the power cable, so my husband was told he could bring it back today. The tv stayed at HHGregg for over 24 hours. Today, after waiting over 45 minutes in the store for the credit to finally be made, during which time the tv sat in the back of the store, the credit was made and my husband left. It wasn’t until after this time that HHGregg Manager, Dan Grecko, called back, was EXTREMELY rude to my husband and said the credit would be cancelled and that we needed to come back and pick up the tv because it was damaged. No damage was ever mentioned until over 24 hours after the tv was brought to the store, after the credit was made, and my husband left again. Mr. Grecko was adamant that it was caused by us, not by his employees or the store, stating that somehow in that amount of time, he had viewed the surveillance and the damage did not occur in his store. He also tried to argue that there was no buzzing of the tv(which is why it was returned initially) and tried to somehow act like we should have returned it to the Barrett Parkway store instead of this one. Do not do business with this store! They take advantage of customers, are rude, and condescending. Their regional department is no better.

I’m usually too lazy to write a review, unless I receive SUPERIOR service to motivate me to do so. Well this is the case in my recent experience with hhgregg. All I can say is WOW. Let me start off by saying that I was completely clueless before I went in there to purchase a new washer & dryer set. I didn’t know anything about what exactly I should be looking for & wasn’t even sure I could afford what I needed. Let’s just say I am a very specific person, and although cost was a factor, the quality of the merchandise in relation to being cost effective was most important. I went to two other stores before & after hhgregg and neither compared to the customer service & quality I received from hhgregg. My salesman Jermaine KNEWHISSTUFF& I needed him to know cuz I had a lot of questions. I can sometimes see veins pop out of salesmen’s foreheads because I TEST them on their knowledge. Not to challenge them or anything; I just want to spend my money wisely. But Jermaine didn’t break a sweat at all, he was(without being aggressive) eager to educate me on what I should be looking for & once I told him what I was looking for & my price range, he narrowed it down to the perfect set for me. Jermaine took his time with me & filled in the blanks with my indecisiveness. I found myself so comfortable after a while(and I can be shy) that I started becoming more personable with him. Jermaine was able to reciprocate my gesture while still maintaining his professionalism. I wasn’t ready to make my decision that day, so I said I’d return if I wanted to buy. Jermaine made sure I had ALL the information I needed to comparison shop before I walked out of that store. More kudos to him for that. So I obviously decided to purchase, but was nervous about whether I could afford the set. Well hhgregg offered a VERY affordable payment plan with no money down! *insert happy face* Plus, Jermaine threw in special savings to bring my price down even more — savings I’m sure he didn’t have to offer. ITGETSBETTER. So after the sale, I called to see if I could get my set delivered 3 days sooner. I’m thinking, they’re busy so maybe not. But Jermaine was on it & arranged a next-day delivery. When I didn’t receive a confirmation call the night before, I called delivery the next morning. Turns out my dryer was on backorder. I was a little disappointed to hear this but did not expect anything other than to have to wait. WELLLET’S JUSTSAYHHGREGGQUICKLYRECTIFIEDTHESITUATIONIN A WAYTHATBLEWMEAWAY. Most companied wouldn’t care if you had to wait but they cared. They cared! Plus I requested a morning delivery & although I was told I couldn’t make that request, let’s just say that by 8am the next day I had my new set installed & ready to go! WOW. I must say I worked for a company that was HUGE on customer service & hhgregg has been my BEST customer service experience EVER. Hands down. *This is the hhgregg in Smyrna, GA 2784 Cumberland Blvd Smyrna, GA30080 770−432−9494

Our microwave and dishwasher both died in the same week. With the microwave being above-stove it meant we couldn’t pick a cheap replacement for the counter. We visited quite a few different stores and my wife found their prices, availability, inventory, and friendly service the perfect combination. After spending at least a week shopping it was great to have them installed so quickly.
