Actually it’s hit or miss for me. I took a pair of girls Chaco and they are selling them for $ 13– $ 15 but saw a pair of brown worn girls coach tennis shoes for over $ 25.00 and Keens for $ 18.99 — not sure if store clerks aware of quality vs common name brands. Lesson learned for me.

I’ve been selling things here for a few years and it works for me. My kids outgrow their clothes and I need to make room for new. It’s important to keep in mind that the things your kid doesn’t play with/fit in anymore aren’t making you ANY money jammed in closets and drawers. I don’t want to deal with a garage sale or flea market. This is a good option to make a little money while I am making room. No, you won’t make a lot of money, but you will make more than you will dropping it off in a donation bin(which is ALWAYS $ 0). The buyers will explain their pricing policy and answer any questions you may have. They can cut you a check, or if you prefer, give you store credit. At 20% more on store credit, I use this option more often. A few suggestions when selling to Kid to Kid: 1. Wash and lay clothes flat. Organize then in a box or packer — don’t wad them up! Spiff up the shoes! Basically, make it easy and appealing for the buyer to look through your items. Remember, other mom’s want the items they buy to look nice. 2. Make sure toys are clean and work. It’s good to keep small parts together in zip lock bags or boxes. If you still have the manual or instructions it’s good to include it. 3. Smile and be nice — oh, and have LOW expectations. You are selling used clothes and toys. Don’t take things personally. The buyers know what’s selling and what’s not. They may not have room for all your treasures. Remember, selling to Kid to Kid is money in your pocket, closet and drawer space, and previously loved toys and clothes are now available for a new family.

I am taking the time to write this review because this establishment does not deserve the awful reviews that it has. I shop at just about all of the different locations and I have sold to each of them at least once. Every single location has refused to take things that I thought were awesome but they always take a good amount of my items but then again they are good labels in great condition. On the topic of the amount of money you are being offered each place has its own quirks about buying clothes. It also can depend on which employee is going through your items so that is not really a fair reason to mark a store down to 2 stars. Bottom line… I don’t care where you take your used kids clothes you may not get offered what you want or they may not buy them at all. Don’t take it personal… They just did think your stuff was as great as you thought it was.(happens to the best of us) Now for the actual review of this particular location… The staff is very friendly. The store is neat. The quality of the clothes are pretty good for the most part even though it seems like there are some pieces that should not have gotten through. The sales are great and I will continue to shop here because of that.

Horrible place to try and sell. The offer they give you to purchase your clothes is insulting. I actually laughed at their offer. We now sell to other stores/consignment sales or just donate to Goodwil. We wasted SO much time.

I love me a good kid resale place. I was very happy when this location opened, however was disappointed in the selection. Every time I come in, the same clothes are still hanging there. I have tried selling stuff, but they either offered me practically nothing or they said they had too much of that item. Of course now I don’t go back and sell(as I think a lot of people aren’t) and now they have a small inventory. I sell to another store now. Asides from the negatives, the store is immaculate and pretty well organized. Prices are cheap too. They just need to get new stuff in!

Insulting offers — poor quality and overpriced inventory. Place is a racket. Go to toys r us instead. And drop your stuff off at goodwill — don’t waste your time with their ridiculous offers.
