Paper Source

I will never shop at this Paper Source again. I purchased a pen that allowed you to choose from 6 different colors. As a teacher, I love having that option at my fingertips. I purchased two, one for me and one for another teacher. The pen was defective however, and would not click from one color ink to the next. I made this purchase opening weekend, which was October 31, 2014. After realizing the problem, I kept the pens in the original packaging, in the bag with the receipt, and placed it in the garage to be returned. The bag was out of sight, and I did not return to Paper Source until July 22. Despite the fact that I had the receipt, the product was defective, and hadn’t opened one of the two packages, the store manager, was extremely rude. I told her that I did not expect her to give me my $ 8.40 back, but that I would like store credit. Her reply was that it had been too long; and she really didn’t feel like anything could be done. She reluctantly agreed to let me pick out merchandise in the amount of $ 8.40, but she stated in a nasty tone, «This will be the one and only time that I will do this.» Well, Paper Source, let me state, «I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT INSIDE YOUR SNOOTY, OVER-​PRICED, AVALON STORE AGAIN!» And, being a very close neighbor, (I live right behind Avalon) I will make it a point to tell ALL of my neighbors, co-​workers, & friends how poorly customers are treated there!

Stop chatting and help customers. I really needed assistance and left mad. Three workers just talked, touched each other’s hair and gossiped. What a waste. Get some adults In this store. The store was busy but the employees were not.

This is a store that will definitely cause you to slow down. You actually want to stop here after lunch and you don’t want to be rushed.
If you want to take your crafting to the next level, start here. This store has beautiful craft paper representing various themes. If you love sports, get the sports themed paper. I love maps and globes and they did not just have one option, they had several! If you are not a «print person» you can choose something quiet and elegant.
They have various displays throughout the store that feature, books, gifts and some unique items.
As you walk into the store and look at the left wall, you will see a nice display of greeting cards. These are not your typical Hallmark cards but are edgy, cool and funny. Instead of texting or e-​mailing my friends that are out of state, I like to send them a thoughtful card and this store has plenty of options.
In the back of the store, they offer custom printing services for those special moments that require a special touch.
