If you want to know how long it takes to fill up your gas tank by spoon feeding it, this is your place

The facility itself get the five-stars but the salespeople get zero stars. It’s basically like going to the post office. I agree with the guy who said they are allergic to money.

Does not take American Express, but takes everything else. Great prices and super coffees. Enjoy a donut after your fill up.

Typical, lackadaisical convenience store service. Now I see why the QT stores are so busy. Hire non-ghetto-minded employees, please. The people behind the counter take forever to take your money. Pfft.

Warning — small rant ahead. Use caution! Hmmm…I’m beginning to think this place doesn’t like money. I have been by this same station twice in 2 weeks and both times they were having pump issues. The first time they told people they were out of gas cause they could not get the pumps to work. Of course, the 14 cars out front had no idea so everyone is swiping their cards and nothing is happening. No signs letting people know… in fact the guy at the counter actually seemed perturbed by people walking in to inquire what was going on. So, we all left. Second visit, I swipe my card and wait. And wait and wait. The machine says«wait» so that’s what I do. Again, they are having pump issues. Again, no signs or warnings. Again I go inside to inquire and the card scanners are not working now. The guy behind the counter does not care about the readers or the number of people coming in. No empathy, nothing. This is why I try to stick to just QT. I will give this place one more try but do yourself a favor and use the BP down the road. Or a damn QT.

Amen — cheap gas but no QT! I spent 12k with QT last year mainly because they take Amex.

Good old Racetrac — just never quite living up to their nemesis, QuikTrip, are they? While RaceTrac has made some major improvements over the years, they still aren’t in the league that QT is in. One thing that continues to irritate me about RaceTrac is that they don’t accept Amex. Not only this — but they are not as quick and efficient as the workers in a QT are. The layout of the stores have improved with semi-recent renovations but overall I feel the customer experience is lacking. For instance there is one cashier who works there who never can seem to muster a «hello», let alone a smile every time I walk in there. I have a thing about efficiency. QuikTrip has it down. RaceTrac does not. I am however a fan of how many gas pumps they have but think its rotten to charge for tire air(unlike QT). RaceTrac’s coffee isn’t as good as QT’s either. Who knows — maybe one day they’ll get there.
