S J Pausa DMD PC

I have had two teeth extracted by Dr Pausa and one was while I was on blood thinners. He is simply awesome and I highly recommend to anyone that needs dental work. He doesn’t rush and genuinely seems to care about his patients. We have to travel a bit to get to his location but it’s definitely worth it. Both procedures was really pain free and easy to deal with. Highly recommend.

Had a wisdom tooth removed last week. Dr. Pausa was great. Concise, to the point, and very gentle. He was kind and reassuring. He did a great job of numbing my jaw so I didn’t feel a thing during the extraction. Their assistants were all very nice and courteous. Their offices are immaculate. Highly recommended.

Had my 4 wisdom teeth taken out last Tuesday (2 impacted, 2 not) and I was really pleased with my experience with Dr. Pausa’s office.
The office staff and nurses are very friendly and helpful. They actually answer the phone and are available pre and post surgery to answer any questions, deal with insurance claims or deal with scheduling. They also had a very pleasant attitude, which you don’t find often in Dr’s offices.
It took a few weeks to get an appointment for my consultation, but I was happy I waited for an opening. During my consultation, Dr. Pausa thoroughly explained the procedure, risks and aftermath of my surgery. I appreciated that he was very upfront with what to expect.
Scheduling the surgery was much quicker. The actual surgery was a breeze. I opted to get «knocked out» and I honestly do not remember a thing nor did I feel any pain. Last thing I remembered was an IV going into my arm. and next thing I knew I was walking to recovery.
Since my surgery, I’ve been following Dr Pausa’s instructions and seem to be healing on schedule. As with any other (wisdom) tooth surgery, it hasn’t been quite a holiday… however everything seems to be normal. I’ve called a few times with questions and the surgery aids were readily available to answer my questions or call in additional prescriptions in a timely manner.
All in all, I drove 30 minutes from midtown to alpharetta based on his stellar reputation and I’m certainly glad I did!
