Best service ever! Love those people over there. So polite and friendly. Plus the food is good. But you can tell when the manager is in the kitchen… he skimps on portions. still good though.
One thing I would suggest franchise wide is getting different lettuce for your salads. Something a little more nutrional than iceburg.

I did not expect it to be so nice, it was so good!
Tasty foods, friendly staff! I recommend the chicken tenders salad. The chicken tenders were very fresh, they did not use frozen meat.

I ordered the sampler platter. It comes with two chicken fingers, a couple ribs, brisket, and two sides. Everything was fine EXCEPT the brisket, which was inedible. It should’ve been called beef jerky instead. The ribs were better than average. The banana pudding had a lot of bananas. This works for a lot of folks but I prefer mine with minimal bananas.
Mr B really enjoyed his pulled pork and ribs platter.
Would I go back? Yes! This time I know to order the ribs.

If you come in during lunch time on a weekday, they’ll have your food out in no time. I definitely recommend Shane’s when you’re in a hurry! The Big Dad with fries was the best BBQ sandwich I’ve ever had.

Shane’s is like the Chipotle of BBQ restaurants. There are definitely more authentic places in the world, but when you want some Q, want it quick, don’t want to cash in the 401k and want it to be consistently on point then it’s a great place. This one in particular is super clean, quick and friendly. If you are in the hood check it out, won’t do you wrong.

My colleagues and I are regulars at this Shane’s Rib Shack. My usual is the ribs but I’ve ordered the Big Dad sandwich, smoked wings (outstanding!), and the chicken fingers and I have to say this place is as good as it gets for BBQ. The potatoes and Brunswick Stew are the best I’ve ever had. The food hits the spot every time and the customer service is always great. And the prices can’t be beat, especially for the large portion sizes and quality of the food.

Good food, fast service even during a very busy lunch. Could definitely use more seating, we snagged the last table. People coming in after us had to stand around and wait. I was very impressed by the capabilities of the young people working there though.

Pricey, but I guess for BBQ the prices are pretty competitive. The last time I went, we had a coupon for BOGO full rack of ribs. That was a awesome deal and we had so much food! It was a wonderful meal and my kids enjoyed their free kids meal as well!
The staff is awesome and the food is great. I’m a big fan of the fried okra.

I have ordered the «two meat plate» from this location and another location. They have been consistent in taste — which is usually expected for a franchise.
I like to order the ribs and smoked wings.
The fried okra and potato salad are good. The cole slaw is good as well, but I have to pour off some of the dressing.
Out of several places I have tried, the smoked wings at Shane’s Rib Shack have been the best. I rate them best because they are not overly charred, as I have experienced from other restaurants.
The ribs are good, tender and seasoned well.

You know, I go to Shane’s a lot. Honestly, you can’t beat their prices as far as a cheap, healthy lunch is concerned! I can get a kid’s plate with 2 grilled chicken tenders, a side salad and a drink for under $ 5. It’s pretty awesome. They have free wi-​fi and I can do my homework after I finish my lunch. The staff here is SUPER friendly and I am honestly going to miss the people here when I transfer! I mean, is Shane’s the best BBQ in Alpharetta? No, definitely not. But are they the best BBQ fast food chain? Yeah, I would say so.

This location is a Partner in Education with my sons’ school so we wanted to throw some business their way. Now, I am not a barbecue expert but I know what good ‘cue is supposed to taste like and this isn’t it. The meat is fine but it doesn’t deserve the name of BBQ. You can’t pour liquid smoke on something and call it Q. I am a Brunswick stew fan so of course I had to try it and it was awful. Brunswick stew is supposed to have a but of a kick but this is just a big pot of spice with no depth of flavor. The prices are a little high considering the quality of the food.
I can’t give this place only 1 star because it wouldn’t be fair to the staff who are just so darn friendly. You’ll meet some great employees at this location, just don’t expect delicious barbecue.

Yea it’s a chain!
But that’s ok because they have pretty good baby back ribs for $ 12.99. So if you can’t find a mom and pop BBQ store to go to… Shane’s is not a bad choice. I was really surprised with the ribs. I ordered it dry and it was seasoned really well and the quality of the ribs had a good combination of meat and some fat. Can’t go wrong here.

Ordered a sampler plate with ¼ rack of ribs, lemon pepper fried tenders, BBQ chicken, 2 sides (collard greens and green beans), and Texas toast. For the quantity of food and price I paid ($ 7 after coupon), this was a very satisfying meal.
However, from a foodie’s perspective, this wasn’t mind blowing BBQ or even great BBQ. It was aite. Loved the lemon pepper tossed tenders — it had a great crisp to it without being overly deep fried. I was not a big fan of the BBQ chicken, but that’s because it reminded me of the rotisserie chicken I threw up with I had nausea from vertigo. TMI? Sorry.
Shane’s is a fun, casual BBQ joint if you’re looking for something cheap that isn’t fast food.

A good fast bar-​b-​que joint. almost fast food but still restaurant like. To me its falls in that between class like Boston Market. This location is clean and the staff was friendly and polite. The chicken salad was pretty good.

I know this isn’t a typical review spot, but any chain cool enough to give away a rack of ribs to 100 people deserves some credit. I got a free drink, a rack of ribs, and a t shirt all for showing up at 1015 am at a shanes. And, they do it every year. Food was good, let’s not forget their big dad pork sandwich is better than a large amount of standalone sit down restaurant. And the fries for that matter, and the mac and cheese.
5 star pulled pork is reserved for fox brothers, but shanes is awesome if you want to fill up cheap and quick

it was too nice a day outside to not take advantage of the weather so I took a drive at lunch to clear my head and ended up at Shane’s. Now if you’ve been to one you’ve been to them all for the most part but I wanted to give a shout out to the customer service. While some place you go into they look at you like «Oh God, a customer» the servers here were friendly and attentive. I got my order to go and even included an extra container of sauce without me asking for it [unlike the shane’s at my location]. I got the Big Dad sandwich along with the Mac & Cheese [Kathleen’s thread said it was comfort food]. The sandwich was as good as always but the mac & cheese tasted worse than the powder Kraft Mac & Cheese in the box. But I won’t beat them up too bad about that. If you’ve in the mood for fast BBQ this place isn’t bad.
