Very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere; the staff is extremely friendly and and helpful; the manager, Danielle, asked us a couple of times if there was anything we needed. Delicious salads and sides for a good price point!

This place is pretty good. Tons of options that are pretty healthy. They have themes that change monthly. Sometimes it’s all about a particular type of food or certain styles. I liked the berry and Mexican themes. The soups are usually very tasty. I like the vegetarian options. Some of the bisques they make are REALLYGOOD. The macaroni and cheese always tastes weird to me. As a side note some of the people working the floor are fantastic.

Great salad bar and the staff is very attentive and friendly. We go there at least 4 times a week.

I like the Ginger Broth Soup and the Black Bean Chili. It’s a bit pricey if you forget your coupon. It’s pricey even with the coupon.

I love this place. I go a little too much. Shot out to miss Janice. The brownie bites are really good. They are not to sweet and I usually eat as many as it takes to defeat the purpose of coming to a salad bar. The pizza epitomizes that there is no bad pizza. The sauce is great but the crust could use some work. The tomatoe soup is really good, especially with some crotouns at the bottom of the bowl. Baked potatoes on deck. Frozen yogurt n toppings on deck. Honey butter on deck. This place can be really good if you want to try and eat healthy, but be careful, the carb areas are dangerous and the brownie bites are most dangerous of all…

This is a really nice place to have all sorts of salad. The vegetables are fresh and nice. The environment is nice and clean. They also have nice bread and pizzas. I have been here twice and i recommend it for people who are a bit health conscious.

I’ve always loved Sweet Tomatoes. It was my first time in a very long time, but I wasn’t surprised by the noise level or kids running around all over the place, which is inevitable in a family buffet. That doesn’t bother me at all — if anything, it adds to the happy vibe to the place. I was pleasantly surprised to see plenty of free tables when I walked in, after spending quite a long time to find a parking spot. The place was very very busy(weekday lunch) but people were constantly coming in and leaving, so that kept the workers to keep moving quickly to pick up empty plates and clean the tables. I get pretty anal about cleanliness of plates and utensils especially when it comes to buffets, but I was soon relieved when I saw how they kept the counters and fountain drink areas tidy and neat. I got a mountain-load of salad and had no trouble finishing it, thanks to the freshness and variety of veggies! For each trip, the pizzas pastas and muffins were freshly made and warm — i haven’t had any trip with food that was cold from sitting out for so long. The workers took away our empty plates quickly. Just one concern I had was that there was one server that was holding a dirty towel in her hand while she was picking up plates, which looked pretty unsanitary and made me not want to eat anymore. I may sound a little overreacting but I just don’t like seeing dirty towels touching plates and stuff, even if they are empty and about to be washed. And who knows how often the workers wash their hands after using dirty towels. But anyways, I enjoyed my lunch(up until the dirty towel) for the price I paid. The location is good too, close to both Avalon and Northpoint mall to walk around and digest after 10 plates of food.

First it was hard to find a clean table. The tables were bused but not cleaned. Kids were sticking their fingers into the ice cream pump and into the macaroni and cheese. I watched one of the workers drop a clean dish on the floor then pick it up and put it with the rest of the clean dishes. There was no proteins offered in the salad area. Hopefully this is just an off night.

The place is SOOODIRTY! Food on the floor, dirty plates with pieces of other people’s dried food, dirty silverware, peed and shitted all over toilets.

I have been an avid fan of Sweet Tomatoes for years. Although I no longer live near a Sweet Tomatoes, I make an effort to eat at one whenever I am in town. This Sweet Tomatoes location is definitely my preferred choice in terms of service quality, cleanliness, staff attentiveness, and buffet upkeep. Also the crowd here is great for family and kids. If you bring a coupon from email or mail circulations, this is a bargain relatively healthy buffet choice. I always get 2 – 3 salads, 4 soups, a pasta, and blueberry muffins(I eat a lot). I knocked off a star as the parking lot is small and they no longer have chocolate chip cookies in unlimited easy to access reach(years ago).

I reminded myself tonight just how much I dislike this place. The salads are soggy, the soups watery and the bread items are NOT good! I am attaching a picture of my cream of mushroom soup, I see the grease but where’s the cream? Not going back!

If your looking for a place where you can pay over $ 10 for a buffet that doesn’t have anything awesome to eat then this is your place! With salads that look like everything was taken out of a bag or a can then check out the salad bar! If your looking for soups that are high in quantity but not high in quality then don’t miss the soup section. Who loves pasta because there are three kinds that taste like pizza huts pasta! Take your chances of your going to go here. I would advise looking for any other place within 20 miles!

Not impressed. I guess the salad bar was fine, but not great at all. Everything else was way below average. You can get better soup from a can, better bread at the grocery store, and better pasta at the Olive Garden by a mile, and I’m not an endorser of the olive garden. If you come in with low expectations it might be ok, but I don’t plan on coming back. This has definitely been one of my least favorite meals since moving to Atlanta over a year ago.

First time I have visited sweet tomatoes. I have heard that this place was great and in my opinion it is just okay. I had a pint of the pasta(3 in one). Thought only the broccoli pasta tasted like it had flavor. I also just ordered a salad that I made at the Salad bar. All of this I got for $ 9.62. In my opinion it is just okay. Compared to Jason’s deli I would have gotten so much more for a lot less at the salad bar.

When I go home, my parents know if we go out to eat, I will request this place. Fo sho! I love salad, but once I buy all of the ingredients that I want with my iceberg/romaine, I’m out a pretty penny, and it usually goes bad before I can eat it all. That’s why Sweet Tomatoes is awesome. I get all of the wonderful veggies, without having to buy a WHOLE head of broccoli, AND cauliflower, AND bell pepper, etc. You get the point. The pre-made salads usually have too much dressing for my liking, but I will usually get a spoonful of one just to try. There are usually 8 soups to choose from, so everyone can find something they like. I try to avoid the paste bar, but everything looks fresh there. Oh, and the muffins. My oh my! Always so fresh and pipping hot! Save room for some ice cream too! This is a family restaurant, so expect to be surrounded by lots of children. But service is good, and once you’re done with your plate, it’s usually picked up within a few minutes.

The salad bar could use more variety and some of the veggies aren’t as fresh as I would like but most of the soup, shrimp bisque aside, really hit the spot. I really enjoy dipping bites from the pizza station in the soup. With a servicing of mac & cheese and a scoop of ice cream it’s a pretty satisfying meal. The staff is friendly and it’s a great value, especially during lunch. Definitely worth a try!

Great place! They have some issues but I still enjoy eating here. They could stand to put more items on the salad bar, right now it’s just really very basic stuff. Not even any bacon bits! And I’m not clear about getting more. Can I get more salad? I dunno… Cashiers can be pretty oblivious to the fact they have customers, apparently arranging the silverware can put you in a trance, but they are always friendly. The soups and such are always tidy and tasty. Discarded dishes are cleared promptly with a smile. There are always lots of kids running around here so beware and tread carefully lest you run over one of the little darlings. The worst thing about Sweet Tomatoes is the noise. Apparently every single moment of the day it is someone’s job to rattle all of the bowls and silverware. I don’t know why but it occurs every visit the entire duration of our meal. I don’t know if people are trying to look busy or if there’s a method to the madness but it is maddening and inescapable. I’ll bring my earplugs next time but will definitely be back!

Quick team lunch at a casual and very cost effective place. Salads were generally fresh and crisp and the various vegetables etc of acceptable quality. On the cooked food, the pizza was undercooked and doughy while thanks pasta was more mushy than anything else. Soups were ok with the beans being the best. Ok for an inexpensive quick meal with no frills.

Okay, right off the bat if you are looking for tons of meat options or greasy, fried food, go somewhere else. However, if you are looking for variety, mostly healthy foods and fresh prepared from scratch foods then definitely try this place. I consider myself a regular here and I am never disappointed. Suggestion, though… Please add lemon juice, apple cider vinegar and a no oil dressing to your main salad bar dressing options — not expensive to do, either. Also, 2 vegan soup options would be ideal but I am happy with the one I usually find offered. There is a main salad bar as you come in with prepared salads and a make your own portion. You can go back for more of this but with so many other options I usually do not. The soups are always good; usually about 5 options. I do not eat the pastas but even my kids prefer other items over the 2 – 3 freshly prepared pasta options. Variety of muffins and breads offered which I only have occasionally. There are baked potatoes, sweet potatoes and a couple of bread strip pizza offerings. I skip the desserts now but, honestly, they were great in the past. Fruit and jello is also offered. I really like the variety offered here and if you can exercise restraint you can have a healthy meal here. Service and staff have always been wonderful.

This has been one of my favorite buffet places growing up, and its nice to see the quality hasn’t changed after all these years. For those that never tried it, Sweet Tomatoes is a buffet restaurant in soups and some hot foods such as baked potatoes, breads, bakery and pasta. It also has a great selection of salads but those aren’t all you can eat. My favorite has always been lobster and shrimp bisque. The desserts here has been really good as well. Fountain drink is a bit pricy at around $ 2.39 but I do think its worth it since they have strarwberry lemonades that usually hard to find elsewhere. The price of this place have been going up steadily over the years but they still mail out clip coupons to our place very often and with them you can expect to be about $ 9 – 10 per person with drinks. Because of the affordable price given the quality of the food I definitely have to give this place a 5 star. If you never tried Sweet Tomatoes before its definitely well worth your time and money to give it a chance
