SUPERSALTYDEALBREAKER! This restaurant is located on Windward Parkway West of 400 North. In a word, SALTY! We decided to check out this restaurant today and placed orders to go. We tried the beef and lamb gyro, the chicken gyro, Greek potatoes and the macaroni salad. First of all, I think that it is weird that they give you potato chips with your order. I don’t care for pickles or potato chips for sides EVER, but especially when my main is accompanied by a requested side. All of the food was just too salty which means that it was inedible for me. The potatoes were nice and fresh in their natural skin, but too salty. The beef/lamb gyro was very salty and gamy, not even close to the taste of a traditional gyro. The chicken gyro and sauce was super salty and again a big disappointment. Unfortunately, this is not a restaurant that I will be visiting or recommending.

I like the food but the staff are completely incompetent! Every time I have been there my order has been wrong or they have forgotten to put something in a to go order or they say it will be 10 minutes for the food to be ready and then it ends up being 20 minutes. The food is good but make sure you check your order!!!

I love the lamb and skordalia. The Taziki and pita is amazing, very flavorful. I come here as much as possible. The service is super quick and everyone is really considerate.

Food was really good. I would have given an extra star had it not been for the«overly loud theme inappropriate hillbilly music» blasting overhead. Steak was really tasty and cuttable with the prison issue knife and fork. Salad was greekish and edible it also included some Greek olives. Help staff was extremely friendly and did finally turn down the cat torture soundtrack. The paper napkins were the premium type, heavy and soft.

Cumin in the hummus is a nice twist. Everything we have had has been very good! Grilled chicken is nicely seasoned.

I LOVE greek food and for a small greek restaurant, this one can’t be beat. The lemon chicken soup is absolutely to-die-for and will cure anything that ails you. The gyro’s are fabulous with lean meat and crunchy veggies. I will be back… over and over…

Ate some Togo from Taziki’s. I had the lamb gyro and side of pasta salad were both great. The lamb in the gyro was perfectly done and there wasn’t too much oil. The pimento dip and pita bread /chips side were guilt-inducing. Taziki’s, IMO, is the fast food of Greek food so don’t expect it to be too authentic. Wow, I just read about the spicy pimento cheese sandwich and I really want to get that next time!

A regular at this place, both in Birmingham and Alpharetta. Love their hummus and pita, Spicy Pimento cheese sandwich, tomato-basil sandwich and grilled veggie plate. Though a little bit noisy, it is a good place to get a quick lunch on weekdays.

We’ve been here several times. Food is really delicious! The staff is friendly. We ordered fruit on my son’s lunch and they gave us both fruit and chips, which was a nice surprise. We’ll definitely be back!

First visit — I got a sandwich and hubs got a salad. We were pleased with both. Will come back and try a few more menu items(especially the hummus — I’m very particular about my hummus!). They do have their license: wine is available. Both of us had tea with our meals(we are Southerners, so you can always assume we drink it iced and sweet — the best way). Their tea is GREAT — cold, real brewed(not instant) and the perfect level of sweetness. Oh, yeah and the baklava is downright awesome.

I needed a good Whole30 lunch option, and I knew from visiting the Taziki’s by my house that they would have a good salad and good meat. So I ordered the salad with lamb. Unfortunately, i didn’t confirm the ingredients of the dressing, and when it arrived, it was clear that it had cheese in it. So I just ate the salad with lamb. The lamb was warm and tender, nicely cooked. The salad ingredients were fresh and flavorful. The space is big and has lots of windows, so it was a nice, bright space on a cold winter day. The salad came quickly. Sure, it’s a chain, but with quality, fresh ingredients, it’s a good lunch option.

I am extremely pleased with this place! Came to this location with my parents. We loved it so much the first time that we had to come back! I love the steak and my parents loved loved the shrimp! I have to say that the service is impeccable! I can’t believe how helpful, nice, and patient the service is. They help figure out your order and they are able to substitute your food and custamiz your order for little or no charge. Super flexible place to order and reasonable prices.

Dined here with a few friends recently. The food or shall I say, meat, has no flavor and is too expensive compared to other greek places. Like another person said, you cant get a refill which I think is a total rip-off and sometimes it takes a while to get your food and if you are a working person, this can be a real problem. I don’t know who is managing this place but they suck at their job. I will go to Opa from now on.

I love Greek food and was fully prepared to like this place but I was fairly disappointed. You can plan on one drink and that’s all. Refills are out of the question as they keep the drinks behind the counter. I guess if you wanted to get up from your meal and stand in line to get a refill you technically could… Portions are very small, so don’t plan to share and I found the dishes to be much less flavorful that other greek dishes I’ve had. By far my biggest prob with this place is that it was absolutely freezing. As in many restaurants the comfort of the staff is much more important than that of the paying customer so both doors were all the way open and it had to have been 50 degrees inside, if that. Ate quickly and got the heck out. Haven’t and probably won’t be back. On a positive note the guy working the register was very nice and helpful.

This Mediterranean restaurant is the best in the area! You cannot go wrong with the chicken feast… juicy and flavorful grilled chicken and amazing, fresh greek salad. I had the roasted potatoes which were heavenly! Love this place!

I get that it’s a chain, and has an almost Chipotle-Industrial feel to the place. But as some other reviewers have mentioned, the parking lot has a LOT of options, and you had better have something to offer worth keeping you around for. The layout of the place is a tad awkward if you are new, so grab a paper menu and order when ready @ the counter. Staff was really nice, communicative, and helpful when needed. My biggest gripe about the layout were the drinks, which to the untrained newb were confusing??? Do I grab them on the way to the table? Does the staff bring them out once ordered? I opted to grab the drinks en route to the table as it killed a couple birds at once. The hummus appetizer was pretty good for a place of this type, and the pita chips tended to garner more attention than the pita itself, so next time we are just going with the chips. The portions of the hummus is perfect for a hungry couple of fatties waiting for their order, so make sure to save space. She opted for the Mediterranean Chicken salad that looked to be full of healthier things and she commented on the freshness of the greens, which was cool being from a chain. I chose a simple tomato-basil pesto sandwich with pasta salad, which was the perfect size for a hot July day. Short of researching franchise locations for this restaurant, I think that if they continue the same experiences that we had, then they should do very well for themselves. The décor isn’t overpoweringly Greek, but you know it with pictures of the Parthenon, which may or may not go over well with the area’s corporate lunchees during the week. We will definitely return, and try other options.

I saw this place when it opened up and decided to give it a try I love Mediterranean food FYI. So I walked in and looked at the menu. I noticed on the menu they didn’t have kabobs listed so I asked the young kid behind the register where’s the kabobs? He said they didn’t have any.(side eye) Ooooook no kabobs that’s like Mcdonald’s not having any big mac’s couldn’t understand why in the hell a Mediterranean Café wouldn’t have Kabobs. Maybe its one of those things like real authentic chinese restaurants don’t have soy sauce or fortune cookies because its a american made thing. So long story short no chicken kabobs I asked about another chicken dish then decided on chicken gyro. Mind you I asked about three chicken dishes. I get home open my food and I have a nice hot lamb gyro. Now how did this happen? I never mentioned lamb once. So I called the restaurant explained what happened and the guy who answered was polite he apologized and said he would put my name by the register and the next time I come in I would get a free gyro. Cool but guess what homie I’m starving now. So I never went back for my free gyro because I don’t want to get up there and ask for it and the person at the register looks at me like I’m crazy and thinks I’m some low life trying to get free food. Hope someone has better luck.
