service was horrible today. it did not appear to be that busy. was no wait time to be seated. i had to get up and inform the hostess and owner that we still had not been waited on just to get some water. was 40 min to hrt our food and it wass blah. only thing hot on my plate was the eggs. the waiter never came back except to give us our check. won’t return.

Mediocre food and horrific service. Burger came out wrong and never received complimentary bread. Waiter couldn’t answer basic questions about menu and made crazy excuses for ignoring us. They offered complimentary slice of cake, but manager never apologized for this completely botched experience. Last time dining here.

Wanted a good breakfast while traveling through the area. Great choice. Don’t let the title if Diner in the name fool you. Many choices and very good.

We picked this as our Mother’s Day brunch location because in a group with two toddlers, one vegetarian sister, one almost vegetarian mom, three meat-and-potato-loving dads, and two semi picky moms, you need variety. The menu here did not disappoint, so that was awesome. Everyone found something to their liking within a few minutes, and my kids happily devoured their pancakes. The ambiance was perfect for the occasion spent with toddlers: not too quiet, but not too loud. We had a table plenty big enough to spread out, and I didn’t feel like we stuck out like sore thumbs with our little ones, but maybe that was just because of the holiday. The biggest complaint about our meal was probably the fact that my husband found coffee grounds in his coffee, which means my mom probably had the same experience. Otherwise I think we all enjoyed our food, though it seemed just a touch overpriced.

I have eaten here twice and both times were great experiences. The first time I went I got the angus steak with spinach as my side. It was very filling and juicy. The second time I had the full rack of ribs and the meat slid right off the bone and into my mouth. It was a little bit more flavored for my taste, the sauce was a bit too sugary, but it was good. It went well with a nice cold beer. The server is what really made my dining experience. He was a friendly guy and it was a slow night and we chatted for a bit. The people there are great.

1. We had to ask for our waiter. 2. The waiters fingers were all over the rims of our drink glasses. 3. The bread is bland. 4. Where is the salt and pepper? 5. Drinks are not refilled. I can go on.

Nice aubience, friendly, polite host who showed the way to our table. Basic breakfast prospects, nothing out the usual. We both ordered about as basic as a diner can get — 2 eggs anyway /choice of a meat bacon, ham and maybe sausage /choice of grits or potatoes /choice of biscuit or toast @ 7.25 each. I requested bacon to be crispy & dry toast(hence no butter) along with grits. Our server asked if we wanted cheese on the grits and we opted for it, but he never mentioned an uncharge. Eggs were fine, bacon soggy & missing any morsels of meat & the toast was buttered. In any event, we will probably give this establishment a second whirl, for a few more eggs and hopefully the side items with be a better match to our liking.

I can literally walk to this place from my apartment, but we have been there only once in last 4 years. The reason is obvious, the food is not worth it and it’s pricy for the quality of the food they serve. I will give it one more try sometime in near future just to see if things have changed.

I LOVE this restaurant for their food and their staff. The staff is the BEST! They are very accommodating and attentive… when they need to be. I wish I could try all their food but I am so in love with the Chicken Piccata that I can’t bring myself to try anything else. My husband loves the Chicken Florentine. David was our server last time. He provided excellent service and I highly recommend you ask for him when you go there. The desserts are a.m.a.z.i.n.g! I just wish it was closer to me and I’d be there every night. This is a «Don’t Miss this Restaurant» type of restaurant… I also love their music… it puts me in a good mood. LOL.

Classic diner food with staples that include turkey sandwiches, meatloaf, Greek comfort foods, and many, many salads. The Diner at North Point is conveniently located off of GA400 on Mansell Road(Exit 8) next to Benihana Steakhouse. The décor is a bit fancier than what you would see in your typical diner. Highlights: There’s something on the menu to please everyone. Looking for your Greek comfort food? You can order a gyro platter, moussaka, or chicken oreganata(Greek lemon oregano seasoned chicken with potatoes). Do you want American food? There are steaks and pork chops. Also, you can build your own combination platter. Pick a fancier meat(steak) and then you can choose a cheaper protein to go along with it. Each expensive and cheaper protein has its own unique price. I ordered the BBQ Grilled Chicken Sandwich, which came with french fries and coleslaw. The sandwich was huge — on the order of barely can take a bite out of it huge. Vegetables on the sandwich tasted fresh. And the french fries were great — large and golden brown, they reminded me of potato wedges. My friends and I also ordered slices of baklava cheesecake, which was a worthwhile way to finish the meal. Critiques: Four out of five star grilled chicken patty, which isn’t bad. Service, though wasn’t on point. While the food came out promptly after ordering, it took a while for us to get the check after dessert. Our server didn’t seem too enthusiastic. Maybe it was just a long day. Overall: Yummy diner food with giant portions. I would return for the food and will look past the service this time — I’m optimistic it’ll be better the next time.

The Diner at North Point is very delicious! I go there a couple of times a week! The first time I went in I was amazed on the inferior of the restaurant. The food presentation is beautiful and not only that but the taste is fantastic! People on Unilocal are giving this restaurant a lower score because of the name«diner» but clearly states, on the sign, redefined. Please give this restaurant a try. Don’t judge by the name judge by the taste. (: I GIVETHISRESTAURANT5⁄5STARS!

My wife and I came here for a meal together before some family arrived to stay with us for the holidays, and it was pretty good. When I walked in, the hostess told me it would probably be at least half an hour before our food came, and the wait for our waiter made me think that was going to be correct. Someone whom I assume to be the manager was walking around most of the time, and I heard him ask why we didn’t have drinks yet and whether anyone had gotten our drink order, and not long after a waiter appeared. The food actually came pretty fast, and the moussaka was a lot better than I had actually anticipated! Someone had recommended this place specifically for the moussaka, otherwise I probably wouldn’t have tried it since the menu does not seem to suggest itself strongly as a Greek/Persian/Mediterranean place. My wife had some type of open face sandwich on what turned out to be(it was on the menu, we think, she just didn’t read down far enough) French toast. It was an odd combo of savory and sweet, but she seemed to enjoy it for the most part. Since it’s not all that close to us and there are other places with similar menus closer, I don’t know that we will come here frequently, but I certainly wouldn’t be opposed to coming back, but not during the lunch crowd like last time!

TWOSTRIKESANDYOUAREDONE,(INMYBOOK)! Today was supposed to be an opportunity or The Diner to show me that they really can prepare good food. My last meal here was breakfast and I did not care for the taste of the french toast. We were in the area and my husband wanted a burger so I thought that I would give them a second chance. We arrive and are seated immediately. My husband orders a simple burger while I decided to go with a gyro. Meanwhile we receive a plate of bread with seasoned olive oil,(not my thing, but ok). My husband enjoys this little treat while we wait for our orders. When the burger arrives, it is a thing of beauty. It arrives with steak fries and a pickle and tastes as good as it looks. When my gyro arrive, it is accompanied by a pickle,(given to my husband), cole slaw,(bland as he – ) and lovely golden steak potatoes. I ate every single potato before I even looked at that gyro. They were delicious! I prepare to eat the gyro, but I notice that it is not dressed with tzatziki sauce so I proceed to dress it with the sauce provided. This sauce is super thick and has absolutely no flavor! As I continue dressing the wrap, I notice that the meat looks very thick and dry. I give it a taste and it is salty, tough and dry. Nothing about this meat is fresh. WHYARETHEYSELLINGLASTWEEK’S GYROTODAY? It is returned to the kitchen and removed from our bill,(as it should be). I choose not to order anything additional and we finish up and leave. ****Waiters and waitresses, when you approach the customer’s table, please introduce yourself so that the customer doesn’t have to refer to you by physical description. ****When the food is bad, don’t make excuses or over apologize, just take the plate and leave. If the customer wishes to order something more, he or she will request a menu. This restaurant is no longer in my rotation and is not recommended by me.

We went to the diner a few days ago for a nice relaxing Friday dinner. I got the special with fish and crab. Unfortunately the fish was bad. I was going to order something else, but the yucky bad fish taste was lingering. We opted to get our check and head home, before my stomach gave out. The«funny» part was the owner coming over and saying they had bad fish all the time growing up…” You just need to put lemon on it!”. Unbelievable! They can keep their spoiled fish to themselves. Beware!

I don’t know why I don’t come here more often. Only been here twice; once for dinner and once for brunch. I’ve had the ribs and the chocolate chip pancakes. Both were really good. They have a pretty expansive menu. Lots of seating and parking. Probably a good date night place. Service is always pretty good. I really want to go back just for drinks and something from their awesome looking dessert case.

So there are some pros and cons to this place… I’ll start positive first: Pros: reasonable pricing, very kind staff, beautiful décor and food was good(I ordered the black and blue salad ~$ 12). Cons: when you have the word«Diner» in your name, you are not a higher-end restaurant. This place totally missed the marketing/brand and as a result the restaurant is completely empty. I LOVE diners but this is def not a Diner but more like a Cheesecake Factory which is not bad in itself but when customer’s hope for a «Diner» experience, you need to deliver. Last thing, work on entrance lighting — I thought the restaurant was closed because it was so dark.

Visited here with my daughter during my vacation trip this past weekend — I had the patty melt with cheddar cheese, she had the waffle combo. The place itself is really interesting — it’s a diner but it’s in an upscale building setting. Inside, they play 50’s diner music so it’s like you’re a schizophrenic bougie person who’s hungry… LOL. The waitress we had was great, very friendly and helpful with the menu. Also, I ordered cappuccino which was absolutely amazing — the owner brought it to me and explained he added cinnamon. I’ve never had that before and I dare say it was better than Starbucks(shhhh — I only whispered that, don’t you dare tell Starbuck Jesus I said so) Anyhoo — the food was very good — my daughter enjoyed her waffle and my patty melt was dead on delicious, everything you want a diner patty melt to be. We only needed a nap afterward!

I’m a big fan of this place, especially for breakfast. I go here at least a few times s month, usually on a Sunday morning or anytime during the week for lunch since it’s close to my office. The staff is great, the older gentlemen that runs the place is always very polite and most of the servers are great and friendly. Try to omelettes, biscuits and gray is great too. The pie is awesome as well. Highly recommended, nicest diner you’ll find in my book.

This place is great. It reminds me of growing up in the land of diners, AKA New Jersey. Like WaWa, it’s something I miss often. The food was great. Husband and I both got skillet breakfasts: sundried tomato for me, sausage and gravy for him. We asked for our eggs«over medium» and they were done perfectly. The skillets were immense. I’m not a dainty eater, but I couldn’t finish more than 2⁄3 of mine. I look forward to trying more of their comfort foods in the future. My only complaint: the bathroom was not very tidy. One of the toilets was clogged, and the whole thing could’ve done with a thorough cleaning.

The restaurant is usually never that full, but the kitchen and servers take forever. It took us 30 minutes to be seated. We sat for 20 minutes and my father had to ask that the server bring the bread to the table otherwise it would have never come. The menu doesn’t match what you get a lot. Don’t ask for any modifications to your dish, 50% of the time it’ll get ignored. It also takes like 45 minutes to make diner food? Really? Eh. My family frequents this place after church on Sundays but the service and food quality has diminished every time. Time to take our Sunday brunch elsewhere.
