I hate to have to do this, but I will never step foot in this place again due to the arrogance and lack of customer service/business ownership experience from Tracey. Beware of her condescending tone as well as her used car salesman pushiness to up sell you to the point where you pray she isn’t sitting at the front desk when you walk into your appointment. Spas are supposed to be relaxing. She may be in need of a sales 101 class, just saying. First, let me tell you that my mother, my aunt, and I have all been going to this spa for about 2+ years now. My aunt started going there because of our referral. I was in my last semester of college out of state, where I started my laser hair removal treatments, and would stop in to Youthtopia whenever I was visiting my family in GA for a maintenance treatment because my mother bought a package, and she is a returning customer, and new business is always good right? I was benefiting from having my touch up and so was Youthtopia for gaining new business that would have otherwise not been there. Well, I was honored this price for quite a few laser maintenance treatments, I’d say so many that it about equals a «package» deal by now.(So you got your money honey, don’t you worry!) But sad to say, that she attacked and tried to embarrass me basically after my treatment today as I went to the front desk to pay, informing me that she no longer can give me my grandfather rate because«Nothing in this spa is that cheap, nothing is only $ 25 in here.» Talking to me with a tone as if I was her teenage daughter, instead of a customer. I also have gotten a few facials there. The first one was great and done by Barb who no longer works there, but now works at Magnolia Medspa. However, the most recent facial I got was from a technician who no longer works there as well due to reasons other than quitting. Compared to my first facial, this was the worst one I have ever had… and I paid more for it. She skipped products she was supposed to be using on me, skipped steps, and didn’t give me a massage. Tracey told me on the phone that she would credit me and add money to a chemical peel, yet she kept canceling them. Now it is summer, and there is zero point for me to get a chemical peel. I asked her to sign me up for a facial instead with that same credit and I would add money to it, which she refused to do. It’s almost as if she took away my laser maintenance grandfathered in price to get back at me for saying no to the chemical peel. Who works that way when you own a business? In the end, Heather, Barb(who works at Magnolia Medspa now), and their newest technician are the ones keeping this place in business and the customers happy. Tracey needs lessons on how to treat her customers as well as people in general from them. I am not the only one who has complained about her arrogance and up selling insanity. I am taking my business over to Magnolia Medspa who already honored my laser maintenance price and I couldn’t be happier! I also am scheduling an oxygen facial, which is what they are known for! Thank you Heather for always giving me a pleasant experience at Youthtopia. You always were looking out for my best interest. You truly are a genuine and sweet person. I wish you and your daughter the best.

I will be upfront and say that my experience here was a birthday treat so I cannot speak to the price. That being said I had an exceptional experience. We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who took the time to chat with us while we waited since we were a little early. Our appointments were right time which was a plus. My appointment was for a facial as well as the friend I went with. When taken back to the room everything was very pretty and relaxing including the music. I really enjoyed my facial and the fact that they didn’t try to sell me anything. My friend asked more questions during hers so they did try to sell her some products but not in a pushy kind of way. Both of us left feeling relaxed and pretty.

I had purchased a Groupon for laser treatment and loved it so much I came back for a facial. Below are some of the reasons I love them and will be a client for life. — First off they are so accommodating when making an appointment. I live and work far away(about 45 — an hour) and sometimes traffic is insane but they are very understanding and have made last minute adjustments for me. — I can always make an appointment that works best for my schedule. — They always welcome me as soon as I come and offer water or tea. — I am in my third treatment of six for laser and I can already see a difference! — My facial with Barbara was AMAZING! She gave me great advice and my skin still looks great and smooth! — Their facilities are clean and well put together! Hope this helps with figuring out where to go!

I have been a client of Youthtopia for over 2 years now and LOVE them… I have also referred friends there and they feel the same way… customer service a+, services offered a+, prices a+… BONUS: monthly specials, bday specials and more… I am in and out of businesses each and every day and by far this is one of the TOPOFLINE businesses in the area… You should try it for yourself…

I will start off with my mom and I both bought this from a groupon thing and she said its by far the BEST facial shes ever received. I dont have any overall complaints about it. Everything was done pretty well. It didnt last the whole 60 min, and I didnt get to pick which one of the 3 she did,(and I wish I could tell you who i had but I have no idea) I do wish she would have told me what she was doing while she did it(my mom said she prefers them not so she can just zone out and have a good relaxing time) but I want to say she used the clarisonic thing on me? but I dont know? And one of the products she used smelled like black licorice? and one smelled like lavender and the final one smelled like pumkin pie spice! YUM! And she did a pretty good on everything, lots of massaging my face, and everything felt nice and relaxing… but when we were done it was very abrupt, and as soon as i walked out the door it was oh, you need to buy this for your face so it wont break out.(i had told her i dont ever break out but my face went on the fritz about 4 days before my facial) It was a box with 4 tiny bottles in it for 85 $? No thank you. clean and clear for $ 4.95 works for me :) and I asked about buying another facial, but the lady rushed through telling me i had to pay for 2 at $ 75(up front) and then id get another one at $ 35? Made me wonder what the quality of the price meant on the facials? So I declined. I did tip on the full amount on the massage. Overall it wasnt a bad experience. It didnt feel very personalized, I think if i were to buy another one I would ask more questions up front first?

The only reason why I’m giving this 3 stars instead of 1 star was because my esthetician, Laurie Greene, was really good. HOWEVER… I bought a $ 35 Groupon deal for a facial. I was able to set an appointment with no trouble. The morning of the appointment, they called to confirmed for the next day. I said, «no, my appointment is today at 4:45PM and I spoked to…» They said that it must had been a miscommunication and would not be able to see me that day because they are short staffed because one of their esthetician had an allergic reaction to her face and had to leave early. Is that something to tell a first-time customer? I questioned the receptionist if it would be safe for me to have a facial there since the esthetician herself had an allergic reaction to who knows what. The receptionist acted like I just asked the most stupidest question ever. Appointment Day: Laurie did a splendid job and assured me that for Groupon customers, we can get another facial for $ 35. I asked if I can pay with my second visit and instead of pre-pay and she said yes and will verify it in the front. The receptionist typed in some stuff and I was free to go. 2nd Appointment: Laurie did a wonderful job again. Came to the receptionist and she was very inattentive because she kept on getting on the phone instead of dealing with a customer that was already there right in front of her. When it was time to ring me up, she said $ 95!!! The blood just drained from my face. I asked her if there was a note that the receptionist put down with my last visit to have me pay only $ 35 and she said no. She did not want to deal with me whatsoever even when I asked her to bring Laurie back to the front so that we can talk. She refused to get Laurie and I ended up having to shell the $ 95. What if I didn’t have it? What would have happened then? Called back the next day and asked to speak to Laurie myself. Found out that the rude receptionist never told her what had transpired. I told Laurie that she had assured me that I will only have to pay $ 35 and if I had known that I was going to pay $ 95, I would had not gotten the facial. She said that she will speak with her boss about reimbursing me the $ 60 difference or a free facial next time and will call me the next day. That was 2 months ago in May and I have yet to hear from her. Present Day: My sister still goes there because they got her to pre-pay the $ 35 facial. When she got there, the same esthetician that had an allergic reaction before had to rush out and so my sister’s appointment got cancelled and rescheduled. When she went in to her rescheduled appointment, they said that they couldn’t find it nor can they find that she had already pre-paid. But guess what? She still had the receipt and that was the only way she was able to get out of their technicality issues. Youthtopia Med Spa really needs to improve their customer service skills and communication and please fix all your technicality issues.

This was by far the worst facial experience I have ever had. So bad that I I have decided to write my first review. The service was just horrible from start to finish. When my friend and I first walked in the door, the lady at the front desk was on the phone and did not greet us even after she got off the phone. We ended up standing there for a good 5 minutes before she said anything to us. That was awkward. So I’ll skip the part where they tell us to show up 15 min early to fill out paperwork and then they tell us they are running behind. I’ll just focus on the facial experience itself. First of all, we purchased the facial through Groupon which I would think the majority of the customers coming through these days are fellow Grouponers. I will also mention that I called before we went in to see if we had the option of choosing which facial package(3 options) we wanted and was told that the aesthetician is the professional and would determine which facial package was best. I still do not know which facial I got. The«aesthetician» did not even bother to explain to me what was going on. As soon as we got started, she put the cleanser on, then the exfoliator followed by the mask. It was not until the end of the facial that she told me she was going to analyze my skin. Wasn’t that supposed to be the first thing she did in order to determine which facial would be the most appropriate? Before I knew it, she was done and I looked at the clock and my facial had only lasted 45 min when it was supposed to be a 60 minute session. She went on to recommend a few products and began trying sell the Clarisonic skincare brush and told me that it would really help exfoliate my skin. Unfortunately, she did not use the Clarisonic brush during my facial so I would have no idea if I liked it or not so I declined. After my facial, I believe the owner of the spa was sitting at the front desk and I regret not speaking up about the dissatisfaction of the facial I received. I still tipped the full amount and regret that too. I definitely feel like we got the«Groupon treatment»… ie. they didn’t really give a hoot about us since we weren’t paying full price for their services. I don’t even think it was worth the $ 35 I paid. It’s unfortunate that some business owners don’t take full advantage of what Groupon is really there for and that is to not only bring in new customers but give you the opportunity to help you retain them as well. After comparing notes with my friend, I do want to mention that it sounds like she got the true«aesthetician» and got the full hour of service including the Clarisonic treatment. That explains why I waited 10 min before she came out. I will definitely not be returning.

I had purchased a few groupons for facials a few months back for this place and was finally able to use one of them this past week. My first gripe about this place is that it took about 3 months just to schedule my appt! I don’t know if they are short staffed or what the issue is but when my gf called to make our appts, it took about 4 – 5 tries before someone answered the phone. I even tried scheduling an appt online and no one ever contacted me. When we arrived, it took us awhile to be acknowledged because there was a client ahead of us checking out. After the client checked out, the lady at the front desk seated us in the waiting area and asked us to fill out some paperwork. She provided us with some beverages while we filled out our paperwork which was nice. Shortly after, my aesthetician came out and brought me back to the room. My aesthetician was really friendly but the whole facial experience just wasn’t good. First of all, they have those mini rock water fountains in the room that I guess is supposed to be soothing but it just sounded like a leaky toilet. The towels used on my face were definitely TOOHOT! There was definitely not enough massaging, just a lot of putting different creams/masks on my face. She would place a mask on my face and then let me lay there for about 5 – 10 min and not do anything. The extractions part was done well. I didn’t notice any blackheads left after the facial was done. But I also didn’t have many in the beginning to extract. Lastly, the final mask that was put on my face was FREEZING cold! I literally jumped on the table because it was so cold. I will definitely NOT be coming back here!
