This company is nothing short of amazing. Not only were Dion and Jeremy professional and hardworking, but they were personable and just incredible to work with. I wouldn’t hesitate to strongly recommend this company to anyone! Words cannot express my family’s appreciation for these folks.

I have NOTHING bad to say about Dion and EVERYTHING good to say! This is the second time he has moved my (now) 89 year old mother, and everything went great both times!
3 years ago, just after he first started, we hired him to move mom and all her heavy furniture from Monmouth to Salem (into an upstairs condo), and wouldn’t you know it, his truck broke down that morning. Well, he hustled and rented a truck and made the move just like nothing had happened! What a way to start out, but he made it work, and not a word of «woe is me». His positive attitude and genuine caring made the move painless.
Now, 3 years later we decided to use him again after hearing the price of a local company, glad we thought of him because we saved a fortune over the estimate from the other company. He even remembered my mom and the previous move!
This move went just as great as the previous one, with all the same heavy furniture moved down the stairs and back to Monmouth with nary a scratch. Mom was very happy and just couldn’t believe how smoothly everything went. And Dion was nice enough to stop what he was doing and listen to her, genuinely listen, when she wanted to chat with him.
His helper, Jeremy, was a great kid, a hard worker, and just as friendly and nice as Dion. Too bad he will be leaving soon to go back to Alaska, but I’m sure Dion will find, and train, someone who will also be as wonderful as Jeremy.
His prices are very reasonable, much less than the other guy, his trailer is clean and he does a great job! One nice thing is not having to empty all the furniture, they will wrap it with plastic to keep drawers and doors closed, so as long as it doesn’t weigh a ton. Less boxes of clothes and papers, etc. to deal with.
I highly recommend DeWolfe & Sons Moving. You won’t find a nicer guy, who is efficient, professional, and a hard worker. If I ever have to move they will definitely be who I use.

Moved today. Most pleasant experience moving I’ve had in years. Owner and helper efficient, courteous, truly helpful when I needed advice. No marks on the walls; all arrived into new home in same shape as before move. I highly recommend them.

Yes, 5 stars! Even though my move was as easy as it gets, I couldn’t think of a better experience. I needed to move within Newport on VERY short notice. I was initially planning on looking for local hands on Craigslist and get a U-​Haul truck, but I then saw several ads for professional movers in the area and I called them all. Dion returned my call within 5 minutes (while none of the other 3 companies ever returned it!). He was able to shift his schedule around and came to do the move for me the very next day. He was courteous but relaxed and easy-​going. Dion came with a college student who was working with him for the summer, and he was constantly checking that the younger man was doing okay and giving him positive feedback, which made for a stress-​free experience for everyone and showed how caring he is. I highly recommend DeWolf & Sons.
Just one minor suggestion: the current photo on Unilocal is not very helpful. The one they have on their Facebook page showing the truck and the trailer is much better.

Highly recommend this moving company. They helped me and my family move from Lincoln City to Portland. Dion was the best. Very professional, easy to get along with, and reasonably priced. Would recommend Dion to any of my friends.

I found DeWolfe and Sons on Unilocal. I was renting a UHaul to move out of state and needed help loading it. Dion returned the call quickly and we spoke about doing the move in a few weeks.
We touched base by phone as the date neared. Finally, the move happened, and it went very smooth. I’d originally booked just 2 men. In speaking with Dion, I decided that 3 men would be better, 2 to load out and 1 to stack the truck. It was great. He had 2 college aged fellows with him. All worked clean, respectfully and with good knowledge of how to load out and stack in the truck. Pricing was just about average for the great quality of the job. I’d recommend DeWolfe & Sons with high marks!

Dewolf and Sons moving is a top class business, as a single mom I was trying to move myself and quickly realized that wasn’t happening, I called theses guys and they changed schedules to fit in my move the next day, they were courteous, quick took excellent care of my belongings (I have some rare pieces from Japan) It was such an easy move, it was probably the most stress free move I have ever had. The cost was $ 100 an hour but for two strong, fast guys and an enclosed truck, it was worth every penny! If I have to move or give a recommendation, I would go with these guys again.

Dewolfe & Sons Moving is a first rate professional business. They went above and beyond for my wife and me when they relocated us to Portland, Oregon. We appreciated all the extras they offered us. We appreciated them so much that we are having them move us to Seattle, WA next month. Our experience with Dion has been exceptional and we look forward to having him move our possessions again. Dion has moved my elderly parents, start to finish, several times in the past few years and is awesome. He is helpful and professional.
