Our kitchen needed updating and another company wanted to completely tear out everything and make it so modern that it would have looked like a hospital. We had lovely cherry wood cupboards that we hated to give up but we had to do something. Mary explained how we could refinish all the wood, update the appliances, re-do the counters with granite and update the old wood flooring with slate. Now the kitchen is modern in conveniences but still has the warmth that we wanted to keep. We love it and Mary handled all the sub-contractors and made sure they kept on to schedule so we didn’t have to worry about them. Definitely recommend her!

If you are into old designs and ideas from the 70s, this might work for you. I wasn’t impressed with portfolio or the ideas from Mary… she seems like a really nice person to work with, but overall, it’s probably best for a small kitchen update or for someone who likes old style… she is not update with contemporary or modern designs.

Mary Broerman is a talented and helpful interior designer. She was very helpful and patient in helping us in several remodeling efforts. She handled everything from selecting colors to managing the construction/reab. Highest praise for someone who really knows how to help and guide people through the difficult process without being an issue herself. After dealing with one designer/train wreck individual, Mary’s services were wonderful. Best of all, you can live with pride with the result.
