We stopped in after house shopping for a quick bite. Our food came out fast, however we found a straw wrapper in one of our sandwiches. Yes, a straw wrapper!
Management was quick to respond, and the sandwich was replaced, and we were not charged for the dish. It was very upsetting to have that happen, but they dealt with the situation well.
All that aside, the food was good and was priced okay. I think it still may be a while before we stop in again, the straw wrapper was very gross.

Bahama Breeze is one of my favorite restaurants. I originally started eating at it in Birmingham before that location closed, and then we would stop at it every time we made the trip to Disney. Now that we live in Orlando we visit it more frequently.
I will not say this issue is solely on the Altamonte location because I’ve experienced it at several of the Bahama Breeze’s, but they’re constantly over zesting my jerk chicken pasta. That has always been my favorite dish, but when it taste better when I make it than when a chef makes it there is a problem… I want to taste the jerk, the asparagus, the mushroom, and the cream sauce, not lemon! And I would say 4 of the 5 times that I’ve ordered the dish lately all I can taste is lemon. Sad to say, but my days of loving Bahama Breeze may be over.

I visited this location during a work trip with some coworkers. We opted to sit outside, where they had a musician playing music. Now this may just be me, but I’m not a fan of calorie counts on my menus. And it’s insane to think that Bahama Breeze would go as far as telling me how many calories my delectable frozen alcoholic drink contained! But lo and behold… the calorie count was on every page. Every page. Including the pages with drinks. Talk about a buzz kill (literally, because I only ordered one alcoholic beverage).
Our server was great, and checked up on us multiple times throughout the evening. Since I was now afraid to order the 1,350 calorie salad… I instead opted for the pork carnitas taco appetizer (which was totally okay because I’m obsessed with tacos). I guess I was expecting for more zing and spiciness… the tacos definitely disappointed. They were dry and quite bland. Maybe add more of the sauce? However, the presentation was pretty cool!

First off this was our third attempt to eat here and we finally got in. Every time we go the wait is crazy long. For the money plus wait we thought the food would have been better. One thing I didn’t like is they won’t change the menu orders. I was going to order a dish but didn’t want onions so I asked the waiter not to add onions not thinking it would be an issue but apparently it was. She said the chef can’t make change the menu items? I mean it was a salmon dish? The food was sub par for the price. Don’t think I’ll be back.

Listen, I’m from out of state and this place was exactly what I needed… Fruity specialty drinks, delicious desert, and jammin island music.
I sat out in the patio on a perfect night. They had a man playing the steel drums and singing fun beachy music. It was a fun night! There were a couple people dancing and a lot of people stuck around just to enjoy the warm weather and good music.
The food was delicious! I had shrimp tacos and they were good. I just remembered they were drilling liquid from them being so juicy, but even though it was a little messy, it was yummy.
For desert I had the banana bread and ice cream. It was so good! The ice cream melted pretty quick but the warm was from the banana bread was the perfect compliment to the cold ice cream.

Met up with friends for a fun girls’ night. I’ve eaten here before and was pleased with the menu selections. They have a newer menu, with options. We had the cheese bites off the smaller tasting menu. I’ve had them before and they were light and crispy, but this time they were hard and overlooked. We were interested in margaritas buy received the wrong menus so no margaritas were listed. The waitress suggested a margarita flight to try three options, but I couldn’t see from the menu. They arrived and were very pretty, but that was the only impressive part. They had little or no alcohol, and were all overly sweet. I had the Cesar salad with grilled chicken and requested a citrus dressing in place of the Cesar (divine). The service was very poor, as our waitress was clearly over-​worked, so she rarely stopped by to check on us. We missed our movie, because we waited so long to pay the bill.

We ordered a Chipotle bowl and an burger. They were good till I felt chewing a paper or towel paper. They took out the price of burger.

I was visited with a few of my work colleagues. Parking was easy plenty around the area due to other business in the immediate area. We sat at the bar so getting a seat was quick and easy. I did not eat just had beverages; however, a couple of my colleagues did eat and said they enjoyed the food. The eye candy was okay not great even in the bar area it was just okay. The price was not bad for three of us it was $ 100 with beverages and bar bites type of food. So yes I would recommend and visit again.

LOVE IT HERE! Staff is fast and friendly, and your food comes out quick once you have ordered. The drinks are always yummy, and the atmosphere is just great.

Ordered apps and drinks. Before we even got our drinks the manager came out and addressed my allergy to cooked shellfish to see what might be a liability to my health ! That in Itself is paramount. Incredible experience in customer service so far!

A fantastic décor inside or out. Check out the large outdoor fire pit. Try the coconut shrimp, pain killer drink, Mahi Mahi, rice bowls and ribs.

Party of 9 people and got seated right away. Got lucky as the table was been cleaned as we walked in. Shared the baby back ribs, fries and sweet potato mashed. My wife has the lobster and shrimp quesadilla.
The strawberry mohito was very good. As usual, the place is crowded.

First off loved the open fire pit outside, but for four people to sit at small table was a little crowded. Our waitress didn’t seem to really cash on when we kept putting our dishes on the pit. So the service was so so… No refills, no checkups, no cleaning off the table. The food was decent. I got the lemongrass mahi rice plate and my cousin got a cuban. But the drinks were BomB… Curly tail so delish!

Love the atmosphere! Preston is really cute! Too much fish on the menu. I had the Chicken and chorizo pasta. It was alright I rate the dish about a 3.

This restaurant is amazing ! The jerk chicken was amazing and the service was fast ! They even accommodated our two infants in the family ! The cheeseburger with bacon was one of the best I’ve ever had !

New menu items. Awesome happy hour menu. Everything ordered was very tasty. Fast service.

I’m sure this probably rarely happens, but we went on a friday evening for a party of five & were luckily seated immediately! The employees are hard working & nice (eventhough they’re running all over the place). The new menu looks great also! I wish I could try everything! Can’t wait to come back for more!

Really cool place to meet friends. It has a fire pit and live music. Prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly.

I usually love Bahama Breeze but had a very poor experience this evening!
Our waitress Gabby was unengaged and inattentive to her guests. From the time we sat down it was 40 minutes until she took our food order. We asked for a second round of drinks and she said she would be right back but never returned. We asked for split checks but wrong items were on our bill; the estimated amounts were right so we just paid it to avoid having to wait on her to correct it.
The food was tasty which is the only reason I gave this restaurant 2 instead of 1 stars!

It gets worse every time I go. We went at 3:30 with a group of about 10, called ahead for the group as well. The tables were ready, which was great. Then we ordered, at waiting 20 minutes for our drink order (only some of the people — beers and wine only) we asked the waitress who shrugged and said «yeah, I know, it’s coming with the food». We tried to explain that we would like our drinks before the food, as half of the table had theirs already… she just shrugged.
After waiting 28 minutes, we canceled our food orders and sought out the manager. As those that had drinks finished theirs, our food came out along with the other half of the drinks — some of which we canceled as well. They apparently comp’d our food, which was nice since we canceled it anyways, however I still had no food or drink the entire time. Then they gave us $ 10 gift cards to use another time at the restaurant. Ugh, strike 4!

This particular location of Bahama Breeze receives an «A» because of server «Maddie»! Hands-​down the best server I’ve ever had. Smart, charismatic, articulate and accurate, she definitely made our dinner magical. She’s super cute too!
Will definitely be back for more of her… and Bahama Breeze.

Fiancé and I came to this location for one of our date nights. It was surprisingly busy for a Tuesday night. The Aruba red beer was very good. The coconut shrimp appetizer was great too. I had the jerk chicken which was moist and tender with rice and beans which were good too. My fiancé had the ribs that had a really unique and sweet bbq sauce on it. Our dinner took a little long to come out so the manager stopped by and offered to buy us a round of drinks, which was quite nice of him. Our server Maddie took good care of us even though she was busy. We definitely plan on coming back to see the live music on the patio.

Love, love, love this Bahama Breeze location — in front of the Altamonte Mall. I’ve never had to wait too long to be seated. I’ve called in orders that were ready in 10 minutes. I «like» certain things — how the sky looks at dusk, chocolate chip ice cream, etc. I LOVE the lighter portion of the Calypso Shrimp Linguine. It is delicious while being the perfect amount of carbs and seafood to power up for the remaining workday. The yucca bites are a decadent appetizer (nom nom!). The tostada salad will be a guilt-​free and flavorful way to enjoy your lunch. By all means, splurge on the lemonade or settle for the sweet tea. You’ll be happy with both — just as happy as I am every time I decide to go with Bahama Breeze when I’m hungry.

Went here on our last day in town and after reading some reviews about horrible service we completely disagree!
We had the best waitress Yasmine I highly recommend her!
She took care of us from the moment we sat down to the moment we left. The food was delicious the best we’ve had so far during our entire trip. The staff at Bahama Breeze knows what’s up.

We love this place. If you tell them you’re vegan they’ll work with you for options. Always a pleasure.

I’ve always loved Bahama Breeze despite it’s chainy roots. Their breeze salad and tostones have always been a winner in my book.
It’s been a while since I’ve visited (mainly due to proximity), but I came by for lunch on a work day recently. The interior hasn’t changed in recent years, but they have expanded their menu selections. I ordered the fish tacos with guacamole and a side of black beans and rice. It is nice that the calories are listed on every menu item and there are different portion options (2 or 3 taco platters, for instance).
Although I would prefer a more local option, Bahama Breeze is a nice spot in the Altamonte Springs area with consistently decent food and service.

This is great place for a quick lunch, the food is always good and there lunch menu has of option and has reasonable prices. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and it was good. Bahama breeze may not be a Mexican restaurant but their quesadilla was on point. My coworker ordered the fish tacos and I was able to try one. I’m usually not a fan of fish but I have to say, the fish taco converted me. It was very tasty. For dessert we decided to try the Dulce de le he cheesecake and it was very good. It was bit too sweet in my opinion but my coworker loved it.
The service was OK. While our server brought our drinks really fast, she seemed to get flustered with our orders. The reason I ended getting the quesadilla is because she would get confused when we asked about the different options for lunch. So to keep it simple and to make sure we got our orders right we ordered tacos and a quesadilla.
My advice to people trying to check out this location would be to come here for happy hour or dinner or when you are not in a hurry because it took approximately 40 mins for us to get our food.

This location is pretty consistent. My parents come here a lot. Our waiter this last time was great, and the food is good. They have a nice bar area that is first come, first serve. Good to know — they didn’t offer this to me and my mom even though she mentioned she was starving, we just overheard them offer bar seating to others.
Their frozen drinks are tasty, and the hummus works well if anyone in your party is to that «hangry» point. It comes with veggies and chips, and I’ve heard you can ask for more to go with the hummus if you run out.
For my entrée this time, I got the grilled chicken with mashed sweet potatoes and green beans (subbed for the broccoli), and I do have to say that the chicken was amazing. I would definitely order it again.
