Suntech 3

I took my Actionscript 3.0 class here. Note: You can NOT learn AS3 in 3 days. I repeat, it is not possible to learn AS3 in 3 days. However, they gave an overview which made it much easier for me to understand the tutorials in the book afterwards.
Suntech 3 is a great place to keep up to date on the newest trends in the web world. When it comes to learning difficult things (such as anatomy), live classes are so much easier for me to get than trying to read people’s confusing tutorials on the web.
Still, make sure you do some reviewing of the material you are about to learn if you are not a coding phenom. You know, the left brain/​right brain dilemma. Such is the world of a graphics-​girl-​turned-​flash-​fanatic. Two cranial hemispheres fighting for superiority in my head when working on flash. Especially when trying to tackle things in Actionscript.
Anyway, the instructor was really enthusiastic about the material and he was always there to answer questions. So if you had a billion questions like I did, you could always use part of your hour lunch to ask him to clarify.
He was also very considerate about the students. Some of them traveled as far as the Florida Keys to attend the class. As for whether or not it is worth the price? Depends on how well you paid attention. It’s an intensive class.
