A place that serves Italian and Chinese food didn’t sounds right to me, but gave it a shot since I was craving Chinese food. And we kept getting their flyer at our apt. Ended up having them deliver so can’t really speak much about the restaurant, but I can about the food. And I pleasantly surprised! I went with the pan-fried noodles with beef and vegetables. Which by the way is off-menu and had to ask if they could make it. Which they did. And it was at my door within 20 mins tasting delicious! Just what I wanted! Oh and the prices were reasonable around $ 8 dishes. We’ll definitely be ordering from this place again!

Been here multiple times. Small mom and pop operation, great service. The combo cuisines makes for interesting meals. Freshly prepared and huge portions for cheap. Go There

Have to admit the outside sign that states, Italian and Chinese had me thinking twice on whether or not to order. After my girlfriend finally convinced me on trying it, I must say I was wrong. We ordered from the Chinese menu our first visit; the food was really good and everything tasted fresh(great prices for the portion sizes). On our second visit, we had some dishes off the«western» menu, and it was also good(not crazy about the wraps; just veggies wrapped in a tortilla) the pastas and salads were really good though, al dente! the staff was very attentive and friendly.

I will start by saying that we’ve never been here before we just decided to stop because we live on 434. The parking lot and the building are… underwhelming. It looks like it used to be a McDonald’s or some kind of fast food joint. I did like that it had outside seating. I kept thinking they should have a bbq out there because the patio was huge. Coming into the place I wasn’t sure if it was fast food or you sit down to order. There was a girl behind the front counter and she just stared at us until I said something. After we sat down and got menus, we got our drinks really quickly. After setting down our drinks, the waitress(who i believe to be the owners 13 year old daughter) handed us the controller to the tv and told us to pick something. It was nice that we had the option of picking our environment but it was still weird to me. The food came out fast and I was already underwhelmed. The bourbon chicken I ordered was typical of the chinese place at the Altamonte Mall. Also, the proportion of meat to rice was just odd. There was a small amount of meat on a mound of rice. I didn’t like the chicken much but I could tell the rice was cooked that day. It was delicious. In fact I had so much that I had it for lunch the next day and I didn’t even have to add anything to it. It was still that good. Anyway i’m getting off topic. I would definitely try it again because it’s super cheap food for what it is but I don’t know that I would get the chicken and rice dish again.

Disappointing Chinese food. We stopped by on a whim to grab take-out. There was no single item that either my wife or I really enjoyed. The pot-stickers were OK, not the typical pork mixture that I could tell. They seemed more like chicken. The sauce was not bad. I had beef with black bean sauce which, done right is bold and flavorful. This was lacking in any bean flavor or texture and the beef was a bit chewy. By the time I was done chewing the beef, all the flavor had left the bite. My wife’s egg roll was fair; I’m not sure I’ve ever really been excited about an egg roll and this was middle-of-the-road. The spicy mustard was pretty awesome. Her sesame chicken was dense, a bit overcooked and as a result, tough. The sauce was over salted and runny. It was definitely not the typical bright orange stuff you get in the mall and that’s OK; it was just not good or otherwise unique. We’ll probably try once more for either different Chinese dishes or possibly something off the Western menu.

We ordered a variety of Chinese dishes to get a feel for what their strengths were, including ma po tofu, twice cooked pork, hot and sour soup, wonton soup, and then to try the American favorites, egg rolls and fried rice. The more authentic dishes are definitely what you want to try here. The entrees were well executed, though I think Joy Luck in Longwood is just a bit better. Ma po tofu ordered extra spicy was actually made spicy, which can be hard to find sometimes. The fried rice and egg rolls were fine, but don’t waste time on those — go for the real dishes. You can order half portions and substitute brown rice for white on the side, as well as order tofu in any preparation they offer for other proteins. I love having those options! The outside doesn’t look like much, but don’t pass it up, they’re better than many of the other Chinese restaurants around, including #1 Chinese and Imperial Dynasty.

This will be my second review, and once again it was amazing! The first time I had the burger and OMG I fell in love with it. This time my boyfriend and I had the Chinese food and it was the best Chinese food we have ever eaten. If you go there for the Chinese please get the Crab Ragoons… They were the best I have ever had. This is our new favorite place to eat. I can’t wait to go back and try the Italian food next time.

We’ve been here 3 times, and have come away impressed with the value, the size and variety of the menu, and the friendliness off the staff! The bulk of the menu includes traditional Asian and italian dishes, many with imaginative twists. American style dishes, and an all day breakfast offering, beverages and deserts round out a menu that has something for everyone. The prices are too good to be true! An Asian dish with chicken, veggies steamed rice comes with a tasty Asian salad, and 2 yummy seafood fritters. This set me back a mere 5.99! The servers are eager to please, and always have a smile… and make the visit even more of a pleasure! The environment inside is casual with a mom and pop feel. For those wanting a quick lunch on the go, opt for the $ 4.50 lunch specials which represent a cross section of triple 8’s eclectic menu. The price points vs. quality of food are not equal… and I certainly hope this place can stay in business. We will do our part, by making Triple 8 a regular stop for lunch/dinner cravings.

Our office received a menu and so we decided to give it a try. I had there Southern West Ranch Chicken Salad and my colleagues had an Italian and an Asian dish. It was a nice attempt but the food was just ok. It was like airport food to be honest with you. The salad was made from pure iceberg lettuce with shredded cheese and beans and corn on it. It was missing the tortilla strips and the dressing was a generic brand ranch. The chicken on the salad was cooked well, but overall there was not enough flavor to the salad and the cheap ranch dressing didn’t help. The other two dished also lacked flavor. It seems to me that this place has a lot of choices but perhaps by offering too many choices they are not able to specialize in one area.

Really enjoyed coming here and will be back for more. The menu has tons of items that will want you to want to come back. They have breakfast, lunch and dinner selections. Chinese, Italian, burgers, wraps, salads and soups. This is a small local place. I went about 7:30 at night and was the only one there. I was greeted by a nice staff. You can order to go or to dine in. They also do deliveries within a 5 mile radius. The staff was very pleasant, my server was extremely excited. Checked up on my a little too much and tried to sell the business a little too much too. She was nice so it wasn’t much of a bother. I ordered the Chicken saltimbocca. This also comes with soup. I selected the Beef barley tortellini. The overall taste of the soup was good and the portion was large for a side soup. It came to me very hot and I ended up burning my tongue. It was satisfying but I hoped that it would have more tortellini. The Chicken saltimbocca was delicious. It came with mashed potatoes and vegetables. The portion was large also, therefore I was able to take some home for the next day. Prices are great! I will defiantly be back to try more of the menu items. Ill try something more exotic next time.

This place has been a few different things in the past. The inside has been redone to focus more on customer service. We tried the lobster ravioli which was AMAZING! It had real crab you could tell it was homemade. The soup was New England Clam Chowder also homemade! Welcome Triple 8 I think it’s a Great addition to the 434 and Altamonte area.
