One of the best taco trucks ever. Service is wonderful. The ladies working behind the register are awesome!

Not too bad. Conveniently located less than ½ a mile away from my apartment. Quick. I wished tortillas were crispier. Ordered Asada and pollo. Tasty meat w/some sauce on top. Would come back for late night taco cravings!

Very good Mexican Restaurant and catering truck nearby. We come for the tacos. Just the tacos. As others have mentioned if you don’t want to get all messy, just order normal tacos not the special tacos because they are jammed back with goodness. Very hard to eat without getting lettuce and cheese and sour cream everywhere. Super yumz.

Love love love this Roach Coach. Its a treat every time we go, since it is a drive to get there. Its kind of like a mom and daughter outing for us. and the hot sauce OMG its the best I always ask for extra to go. Ive only had the tacos so, I’m not sure on the rest of the food.

This is really random for me, but they have the best tacos I’ve ever had. I like the asada tacos the best. Just wish they had watermelon juice.

Wow, it has been a long time since I’ve tasted good Mexican tacos! Coming from Vegas, I loved this place called Tacos El Gordo(and all of my friend’s home bbq’s). I have been deeply disappointed in the taco places we’ve tried in the Bay Area. until today. We were able to try their tacos at the SJ Taco festival today, and they totally satisfied my craving! The spice of the sauce had just the right kick. We ordered carne asada, pollo/chicken, and Al Pastor. I loved them all, but I must say that the Al Pastor was my favorite! I’m definitely going to keep on the look out for their truck. I’m wishing we would have stopped by their truck again before leaving the festival even if there was a long line.

Best carne asada tacos in Santa Clara! Hands down. I live in Iowa now, but grew up in Santa Clara my whole life. Whenever I come home, I always go to In-n-Out and El Taco de Oro. It’s a must!

I love mexican food, authentic or not — there just something to it that attracts to me to food. Flavor? The normancy of it? Who knows! I went to school in Socal/Riverside and they had good mexican places + san diego! I think I have a good taste in mexican food. Taco de Oro is one of my favorite places up in Norcal! The atmosphere is like many mexican places, the people very kind and friendly! And the food… :3 The Sopitas = Amazeballs, these are like pancakes? Meat cakes? Whatever they are, they were bomb delicious. The carne asada was not dry, it was juicy-ish, lettuce and cheese was a nice kick to the dish and all the flavors definitely blended well! I got 4 tacos, bad idea! So much food! Carne asade tacos :3, with their hot sauce definitely a good combo! Yas for this place!

Tacos de Oro has been a staple in Alviso for some time now. The tacos are just as good as ever. Comfort food if you will. You can’t fault them for that. And there is the added bonus of running into old friends.

Tacos el Pastor to die for… better than on the streets of Nuevo Laredo. Fast lunch service! My favorite weekday lunch spot near the north part of San Jose!

This is probably the best place to get some tacos(in my opinion). It’s ridiculously cheap in here, and no only is it cheap but they serve good quality tacos. If you ever crave tacos don’t hesitate to come here, because this place will not disappoint.

I ordered the al pastor super burrito and it was okay, thought there were way too much beans and rice and not enough meat. I even asked for little beans and rice too! It wasn’t well flavored, think I’ll skip.

I love this place. One of my good friends recommended and now I know why. The tacos are the best in the bay area hands down. My girlfriend and I go at least 3 times a month! Tacos de Asada!

Love this place. Come here from time to time with my coworkers. I usually get 3 to 4 tacos. Their carnitas and al pastor are the best! They changed their menu and no long offer combos. That’s too bad because sometimes I liked getting different things. But their tacos are still super good. I will go back repeatedly.

When I’m in the mood for tacos this is where I eat. I even go out of my way to come here. Cheap, delicious, and authentic(IMO).

It’s in the name. These tacos are like edible gold. Hands down the best tacos. I was introduced to their Taco Truck years ago before the advent of these gourmet trucks. Sadly, those trucks can not compete with De Oro. Now my co-workers and I frequent the restaurant as it is a lunch staple for us. I must say the tacos are 5STARS. Overall the place gets 4. Tip: for extra spice ask for the spicy carrots… hot damn!

I actually went to their taco truck that is perenially parked in front of the Petco/Safeway/Pep Boys complex on El Camino & Cezanne Drive. We ordered: –Carnitas Super Taco( ): YUM! Loved the flavor of the carnitas in this. –Carne Asada Super Taco( ): Good– your standard carne asada. –Al Pastor Super Taco( ): Good, but I liked the flavor of the carnitas better. I believe the super tacos were $ 2.00/each, whereas the regular tacos(no sour cream or cheese) were $ 1.50/each. They drowned the taco with cheese, so not sure if I would go for that next time since it overpowered the taste of the meat. Their tacos are definitely greasy, as evidenced by the huge grease stain left on the plate, but they were delicious! You can also request a slice of lime and a pickled jalapeño with your tacos. They are fast and efficient, and I would definitely come here again if in need of a greasy Mexican food fix.

The 5 stars are for the tripas tacos, but you have to get them INSIDETHERESTAURANT. i can’t emphasize this enough. My friends, co workers and I dig this place. We can easily put away 4 – 5 of the little tacos each. I just can’t believe how significantly different the tripas is from the truck vs the actual restaurant. From the restaurant, they are little piles of crispy goodness. From the truck, they look like grease soaked innards. GROSS. Otherwise, anything from the restaurant = YUM.
