Fuzzy’s Taco Shop

This place is much better than it sounds! The brisket nacho’s are to die for. It’s easily enough for two people, or even more, it’s so huge. Highly recommended!

I’m honestly conflicted between giving this place a 3 or 4. I wish I could give 3.5.
My husband ordered the chicken salads d I ordered three soft tacos; shrimp, chicken and veggie.
Of my three tacos– the veggie was the best. It was really good, full of flavor.
The chicken on both my taco and his salad was very dry. It almost tasted as if it was from a can. It had very minimal flavor.
Honestly, the food was just alright. Would I go back if I were ever in the area again? Probably not. It was just good enough. Which gives the place a 3. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t anything better than another place.
The service was good. They lady at the register was informative. The food was made quickly. The guy cleared our table after we finished and asked how thing were. This gives them a 4.
Unfortunately, I will give you guys a three because of the food.
However, I would still recommend giving this place a try! Maybe they just need more seasoning or something. If you’re craving tacos, get the veggie. That one was seriously good!

Needed to feed 25 customers for breakfast. And forgot to order until 8PM last night-​Yikes! Fuzzy’s came through with a variety of Breakfast Tacos and packaged up great for my pickup. They use pizza — like boxes and put each kind in a separate box. I even had a couple of gluten-​free customers and they made some with corn tortillas and bagged them up.
Almost as important, everything was ready on time so I got my max exposure to my customers.
Hot, fresh and delish at a great price. Everything I expect from Fuzzy’s. This was my first time to try the Amarillo location but it definitely won’t be my last!

The first time we had Fuzzy’s was pretty soon after they opened. We were not impressed, but we decided to give them another try today. Mistake. We ordered out. My husband’s meal was correct but not that good. He wasn’t impressed. I ordered the chicken fajitas. No Tortillas made it in the bag. I was also suppose to get 2 sides, and neither of them were in my order. Plus the chicken was chewy and the peppers were undercooked. We got our son the kids nachos. What a joke. It says on the menu that it has shredded cheese and queso. There was no queso at all and very little shredded cheese. I ended up adding to his chips with cheese from our house. Plus his meal came with a churro, and it also wasn’t in the order. When my husband went to pick up our order, the receipt was correct with everything on there.
Needless to say they have completely lost our business and we won’t be back. We will just stick with Rosa’s.

Love the shredded brisket tacos. Also, fun place to come have a beer with friends. Patio is fun when the wind cooperates.

Breakfast was fair but over priced. Not very organized for the few people there at 8am.
I would put this in line with Taco Villa. Out of coffee and creamer at same time. Two small decanters not adequate. Seems like breakfast is a token to really selling bar drinks. Potato’s on egg breakfast were cold to lukewarm. I gave it a try.

Bar guys are great! We went there for the first time a few weeks ago. They made sure our experience was positive. We tried it again the next week, and the same bar guys remembered us. The food is good, and they have Modelo Especial on tap. We will be back. This place is on our «regular» list now. #barguysrock

The only good thing about this place is their drinks, which is lucky for them because they bank on happy hour specials with that patio seating. Food is always cold.

This place is pretty good. There is a good vibe until this one guy comes in he kinda looks like a gorilla lol but the food is good and the management staff is helpful. I recommend it. The drinks are good fuzzy driver is where it is at hat goes off to the GM Pete he is Awesome.

If you like fish tacos, these are the best. The chips and queso are fantastic. Pair all of this with a Margarita and call it a good night.

Great tacos for a great price. Not only is the meat good (recommend pork or brisket and it comes in large amounts on the taco) the put feta chesse on these bad boys which I love! This place is for partying it seems and I love it. Everything is centered around a big bar and patio. Drink specials daily and ice cold beer severed in goblet lol. Are there better food places? Yes, but most do not let you have this much fun. Bring your buds, get a beer, a taco, maybe a plate of nachos and enjoy just hanging out.

Cold order wrong. Not sure if I’ll be back. Fish taco looked like they broke up a fish stick and put it in a tortilla. GROSS!!!

I loved Fuzzy’s when I lived in Fort Worth and the three times I’ve been to this one have been a good experience. Good food, cool porch (which Amarillo is seriously lacking), and fast service.
Actually, I’m going to go there right now.

First time eating here, front cashier was very helpful and patient with us deciding what we wanted, she suggested items for us to try! Our food came out in a timely manner, we also ordered drinks from the bar. Our tacos had cilantro on them and we ordered without, the manager, Ray, promptly fixed it and even offered us free dessert. He came around and introduced himself. Must say overall it was great, we will be coming back

I thought the food was awful. I had the pork burrito with the «red» sauce. The portion size is enormous, but the inside of the burrito to was cold. The «red» sauce was kind of a wolf brand chili version that was poured over the top. Not good. We got queso and I thought it was nothing to write home about. Love the patio and could see hanging out for beers one night, but I’ll be skipping the food.

Food is bad and bartenders are slow… simple as that. I like their patio area and setup but during busy times they need waitresses outside to get drinks. Theres alot of other kinks that need to be worked out as well. My friends that are local go only to have a beer and sit on the patio now if there are seats available because for some reason they allow people not drinking to take up bar seats and sit at bar… I hope they figure out thats driving their sales down as well. Im definitely not a fan…

Guys. Come on. This food is not good. Queso tastes like it has chicken soup in it. Tacos are underwhelming and are very chintzy with ingredients. Nice facility though. Hopefully the food will improve.

Great breakfast burrito! Friendly & fast service! My only complaint was that the potatoes in my burrito were a little over cooked– but besides that– YUM!

I’ve been here 2x already since its been open. The food has always been great! Service, so so, and the beer great!

We had a fuzzys back in Stillwater, OK where I went to college. I was so surprised and stoked to see this was coming to Amarillo!
The young man who took our order was SO very sweet. No complaints!
The man we picked up our food from… Not as sweet.
There was someone who walked by our table literally every few minutes to ask how we’re doing… I see the point of this but it was honestly a little annoying! We just wanted to eat our dinner and talk for more than 5 minutes without another question. It seems a little insincere when places do that.
I went far from my comfort zone and ordered something I don’t usually. I’m a faithful shredded chicken/​tempura fish Baja taco kind of girl. This time I ordered the tempura fish sandwich. I regret this.
The sandwich had WAY too much bread and little on the inside. The diced potato fries on the side were a bit soggy yet somewhat burnt?
The chips were amazing as usual and the guacamole was fantastic too! I’m just interested to see how this goes, having a Torchys here and all. I find Torchys to be a little more unique and I think I’d rather go there.
