It looks bad from the outside, but nice guy and nice situation when you go in. Perfectly good haircut for $ 13 + tip. No WiFi.

A diamond in the rough, so don’t be intimidated by the outside appearance. It is, after all, on old route 66 boulevard, so it has the antique, rustic feel. Regardless, Kayne(Cain) is still one of the old school barbers that does it right. He is one of the few barbers in the Amarillo/panhandle area that graduated from a authentic barber school before they closed it down decades ago.

It’s hard to find a new barber when you move, I found one! Great old school barber shop. Razor cut is standard. Great owner. The place is no where near a salon atmosphere, closer to a shack but it is orderly. Fair price

I know some of the best restraunts are«hole in the wall» restraunts. I guess that goes for barbershop’s too. Found my knew barber.

DONOTBESCAREDOFTHEBUILDING! I’m a active duty service member temporarily in Amarillo for training and I got last minute word my commander was coming to pay me a visit for a promotion so I needed a haircut ASAP. I got online and seen the 3 reviews from this place so I figured I’d give it a try. I have to admit I was skeptical at first but this guy knows what’s up. I’ve been told my hair is hard to cut due to the double crowns I have but this guy took care of them with no issues. Cost me $ 12 bucks but well worth it. He has been in business for many many years. Hope your experience is as good as mine. Oh… and i got the straight blade to the back of my neck.

I drove in from Houston and was in need of a simple haircut and beard trim. I Unilocaled a barbershop in Amarillo this was the first to come up and the only one with an outstanding review(although it was only one from about 2 years ago). It was close and so I decided to give it a try. I was regretting my decision when I saw the outside of the building. Side note: The front door does not work. You have to use the door on the side of the building. It took me some time to figure this out. I was tempted to do another search and find another place but I proceeded inside and I am glad I did. Kayne, the owner and barber, gave me a good haircut and beard trim for $ 15. Not only did he provide me with good service, he is a very nice guy. He has been in business for 14 years. I would much rather give my money to a hard working local business owner than some large chain operation like SuperCuts. I was glad I went and the next time I am in the panhandle I will be stopping by again.

Been coming here since I was 8 years old! There is not that many old school barbers in the Amarillo area. When you come to Kayne, you will get the old school treatment. It usually take him at least 30 – 45 minutes to finish cutting your hair but it’s definitely worth it cause he actually takes his time and listens to your request.
