The food was pretty good. I had the chilie burger. It came with maybe a quarter size of chilie, so I asked for more which took forever since everyone was rushing around. I’m assuming the chick who rang us up was new because anytime anyone asked for something or to do anything she asked someone else and just stood there. Absolutely NO employee was wearing gloves… that was just a tad bit disturbing and made my appetite curve.

We came on a family trip to visit family and being from California I am comparing it to In n Out and The Habit Burger. it doesn’t come close to being as good as in n out. It’s good just not superior to it, I do love their spicy ketchup and fries.

First time at Whataburger so I got the double Whataburger with fries and sweet tea. Burger itself was pretty good, but in my opinion not close to the quality of in-n-out, which is still my fast food king. Fries were really good and sweet tea was nice. Definitely would like to come back again if I ever drive through Texas!

Im not a fan of fast food. But this palce takes fast food to a whole new level. Wish these were nation wide. Bit on the higjer end of prices, but the food is fantastic for fast food. And its fresh.

I had a great first Whataburger experience at this place! I’m from a place where they don’t have this burger chain and was curious to try it since I was in Texas. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my experience and give kudos to their staff for going above and beyond. The food was pretty tasty. I enjoyed their sweet tea and whataburger jr. with fries.

So everyone knows whataburger is amazing! Especially late at night when ure drunk. I’m writing this to warn u of this particular whataburger on Coulter. Today I had to go back to this restaurant 3 times! That makes 4 visits in one day! I get home and my burger has NOMEAT. I go back and they take care of me right away as the manager was a sweetheart. So I check it in my car on the road thinking there wouldn’t be another problem, we’ll I have to turn around because now there is no cheese. They fix up a new fresh burger and she gives it to me the way I ordered but now there are no fries in the bag. Point of the story is, check your order before leaving.

Friendly service, great food(as always for Whataburger). It was strange they didn’t have napkins available without asking… But I can’t discount for that. Chicken strip Monterey Melt on Texas Toast is where it’s at!!!

It was pretty good for fast food. I had the bbq chicken strip sandwich and liked it but the sweet tea isn’t great. We really just went because there aren’t any whataburgers in other states and it’s a road trip so why not. If you’re just passing thru it may be worth a stop.

I don’t mind the sometimes-longer-then– seems-necessary wait for the food they serve because it’s hard to be disappointed with hot, fresh really good stuff.

Whataburger has great burgers and I love that I can have my onions grilled but this store is awful! This store does not even deserve 1 star. The last few times I have been here I have not gotten good food. I’ve had burned onion rings, bad sodas, and bad tomatoes. The most recent time I was here I waited over 20 minutes for my food and there was no one else ahead of me in line! Whoever asked me to wait when I was at the microphone to order forgot about me. I waited 10 minutes to have my order taken and then waited another 10 minutes at the window for my food to be ready. The manager was the one at the window and she did not even apologize for my wait!

Let me start off by saying Whataburger is NOTHING like In and Out or Steak and Shake… Those places have sub par burgers and that leave much to be desired. I love Whataburger but this location is horrible! Brown lettuce? This is opposite of what Whataburger advertises. This burger was not fresh and that is not how I like it.

Totally reviewing my road trip backwards… but when you’re on the road, who has time to review, especially when you’re relying on McDonald’s wifi…*exhales* *glares* But anyways, on a more positive note, what is NOT McDonald’s? Whataburger, that’s what is NOT McDonald’s. This burger packs a greasy punch that rivals Steak –N– Shake, Shake Shack, and In-N– Out Burger. So what if its possibly another version of the previously mentioned, its still good, its still greasy, cheesy and delicious. If you’re in Texas, this is a MUST try. My dream is to someday be able to sit down and have a burger from Whataburger, Shake Shack, Steak N Shake AND In-N-Out Burger all in one seating. Someday I hope to be so rich that my magical burger jet plane will allow be to do such a thing. For now all I can say is that this is Texas version of the others mentioned, and that it definitely rivals them. Thank you Whataburger and Texas for the extra 5lbs. I look back fondly on those good times. I will return someday and enjoy the cheap greasy goodness that only you can provide.

When I was an undergrad at MIT, most of the Latino students were either from California or Texas and as such there was always this rivalry. One of them being who had the better burger. Us Cali folk claimed In-N-Out and the Texas peeps claimed Whataburger. So when I finally made it out to Texas and finally got to try one of these burgers, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was a mighty tasty burger. So when I was driving back from Oklahoma recently and going through Texas I decided to stop by and see if they were as good as I remembered them. And sure enough, the burger didn’t disappoint. It was just as good as I remembered. In-N-Out still trumps it but I give credit where credit is due.

Whataburger is my favorite fast-food burger place and this location makes fine quality food. But hoooooly craaaaaap they’re slow. If you are going for lunch, expect to be late back to work/class. At least you know it’s made to order!

What else can I say … Whataburger is nothing but hot, fast and fresh yummy-ness in a bun. This was my husband’s first Whataburger and considering how fast he gobbled up his burger and fries I believe it won’t be his last! We don’t have Whataburgers in St. Louis :(but on our road trip to my Mom’s house in Texas we couldn’t resist stopping for their mouth watering burgers and fries. Just thinking about it makes me miss them.

The best fast food burger in Amarillo(maybe Texas?). Plus, they have the best ketchup you will ever taste.
