Amazing margaritas and great food! I love the carne asada and the pollo mestizo dishes! Both are done very well. The nacho appetizer is also a favorite of mine. This is a must try! You will find yourself going back if not for the food but for the delicious margs! Can’t resist this place. Friendly staff and warm ambience. Best Mexican place around.

Very tasty home made Mexican food. Real refried beans and the rice had habanero in it! A great place for a quick inexpensive and tasty lunch!

WE went to this place while we were visiting cousins in PA. This place is tucked away in a small plaza next to brightly lit Chinese mom and pop dig. You could probably miss if you did not know about it . Even on the inside the place is pretty small. We got there on time to get a table for 4 plus 2 kids right away. WE started off with the drinks and chip and salsa with guacamole. everything was good. I must say the food quantity was pretty nice. Wifey got a veg. toastada and it was huge filled with beans and vegetables. I myself got something fried chicken with cheese and side of beans and rice. Well the side of rice was literally one teaspoon and not a grain more and hence 3 stars overall the place is good and the taste is good too. For the price the sides that all the Mexican rest give with entrees should be a bit more. other than if you are local to this place then i dont see any reason why not you should not go there.

This place is awesome; I have yet to find a better Mexican place in the area. I only wish their dinner prices were cheaper so I could eat there more. The lunch is fantastic though. Very reasonably priced and delicious. They have amazing burritos for only $ 8 and they come with a side of potatoes(kinda random but still good). Considering this is only a little more than Chipotle this is a fantastic deal. My favorite is the carnitas burrito. The chicken mole dish is also amazing. Very tender meat that just falls apart and the sauce is off the chain. As a native Texan I’d like to think I know my mexican food and I can’t get enough of this place.

Service sucks. Have no clue if it’s because we’re gay or what. Food is good. But I won’t be coming back anytime soon.

I really loved this place! I had heard from so many people that the food was amazing so I had to try it out. My friends and I went out to celebrate a 21st birthday… the margaritas did not disappoint! There’s nothing I hate more than weak drinks, and those margaritas definitely were not! I do think my mango margarita needed some more flavor/needed to be sweeter… but hey, there was plenty of tequila in it so I was a happy camper. My friend’s frozen strawberry margarita was the though. My first thought when I walked in was«Wow, this place is incredibly small» But I honestly enjoyed it that way. The quality of the food was much higher because it’s a smaller restaurant. It has a cozier feel to it than big restaurants which we all enjoyed. The food was so yummy. My friend, my sister, and I all got vegetarian meals and they are were spectacular. I was a little weary because I’ve never had a meatless Mexican meal. But it was SO good. My sister and I got the vegetarian Memela with a side of arroz rojo which was delish. My friend got the vegetarian fajitas which had so much more veggies than I had expected and tasted like no fajitas I’ve ever had. The meal really had an authentic taste. Our waitress was incredibly kind too. Definitely try this place out!

Been coming here for years; it is one of my favorite local restaurants and is consistently good. The guacamole real, mole pablano and chicken enchiladas are among my favorites along with tres leches for dessert. It has a small, intimate dining room with a warm décor and very friendly service.

Scary: 1) We ordered the key lime pie. Limes are NOT the color of the filling in that pie! 2) It’s a wonder they are not cited for fire code violation. Those tables are so close together and crammed in that tiny dining area, there is no way I will believe they didn’t pay somebody off. God help the customers if ever there is a fire in there. No way is everyone getting out safely, no way in hell! There isn’t even a clear path to the door! scary, scary, scary…

Finally an authentic Mexican restaurant that is as good as my previous favorite restaurant ‘Tortillas’ that is now closed! Saturday night my boyfriend and I had an awesome late dinner at the beautiful intimate dining room here and enjoyed every bite. Their combo Fajitas were delicious and our server was sweet and attentive. Great drinks too! Thanks for the great dinner, we will be back soon! *the 4 stars is because the dishes are quite a bit pricier than the same item elsewhere*

Wow, what a surprise in the middle of a Horsham shopping center! It reminds me of the upscale Tequila’s in the city, in terms of size, type and quality of food. I loved my chicken mole and the seafood enchiladas were delicious as well. Must try the tres leches cake! I bumped it up to 5 stars because for the both of us it was about $ 25!!! A steal! We did go during lunch so not sure if dinner menu changes. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a bit more fancier Mexican cuisine. The place is really adorable and has great fast/service. I agree with the comments though it is odd they charge for chips and salsa, but not a big deal considering the food prices!

The ambiance, service, and food were great. Prices are reasonable and most of the entrees came with a vegetarian option that didn’t rely heavily on cheese(rare in a Mexican restaurant). Bravo! I also appreciated the delicious 100-calorie Skinny Margarita and the extensive tequila menu. We didn’t have dessert, but our appetizer(chips & salsa) and entrees(vegetarian enchiladas and vegetarian fajitas) were delicious! We will definitely be back.

As you look at the front entrance in this small suburban plaza, you would never guess what delights lie within. Step inside to experience casual yet fine Mexican dining done exceptionally well. First timer’s heads swivel a bit when they walk in as they try to see the other rooms. Guess what, there are no other rooms! One glance and you’ve seen it all. The décor is over-the-top Mexican but the overall effect is warm and inviting. The lovely wife and I enjoyed it. We were seated on time with OpenTable reservations. We perused the large drink menu and the lovely wife went for the 100 calorie Skinny Margarita for $ 10. I ordered the Patron Marg for $ 12. Both were excellent and served in interesting non-standard glassware. The wife was incredulous that her drink was only 100 calories. It was that good! We went crazy with a shared appetizer and ordered the PLATONDEBOTANAS for $ 20. This is their appetizer sampler and it’s meant for more than two people but we wanted the variety. It was the perfect decision! Explosions of flavor from several different well-seasoned delights. In included the best guacamole we have EVER had. EVER! Our waiter this evening was Paco and he was excellent the entire night so customer service was not a problem. For entrees my wife ordered SALMONTROPICAL — This was broiled fresh Salmon marinated and seasoned with spices and herbs. It was covered with citrus-tamarindo and mango sweet sauces and served with flag rice and spring mix salad for $ 18. I ordered ALBONDIGASALCHIPOTLE — Mixed ground meats, formed into delicious meatballs with a cheese center. Simmered in smokey spicy chipotle-chorizo sauce. Served over our refried black beans with rice on the side and garnished with cilantro and corn tortilla strips for $ 15. We both agreed our dishes were inventive and superb! Nicely plated and correctly seasoned. Portion size was just fine. This was one of the finest Mexican meals we have ever experienced and we’ll be returning again soon!

Absolutely love this Mexican restaurant! I’ve only been here at lunch, but would imagine dinner was just as good. The place is small and gets pretty packed at lunch — good sign right off the bat. The décor is awesome, I feel transformed. I’ve been to Mexico and this place looks and most importantly tastes authentic! The food is very fresh and good. Everything is seasoned perfectly. The portion are perfectly small and satisfying. I feel this place goes for taste rather than incredibly large portions of rather average tasting food. I’ve had many dishes off of their lunch menu and all were equally great! The only thing I was not a fan of was, surprisingly, the guacamole. I’ve had it multiple times and it always had way too much bitter onion in it. They have a cute little bar and a whole locker full of exostic tequila. Would be awesome to try some drinks. The service is great. Most waiters are very friendly. One time I gave our waiter a compliment on his Patron logoed shirt, a few minutes later he brought me one as a gift. Best part, this place is very reasonably priced! Most everything is under $ 10. I highly recommend this place and will continue coming back to it.

I’m scanning through the other reviews and see some comments like«bland» and complaints that there is a $ 3 charge for salsa, and no refill. OK… This is a little different kind of place, perhaps a bit more«upscale». Indeed there is a $ 3 charge for salsa, but it is the best traditional pico de gallo and well worth it in my opinion. Not at all the jarred type. The black bean soup is excellent! Very different from the Cuban/Caribbean versions I have had before. Tastes like a chicken stock base. The pork was honestly a little tough, and dry, but very good flavor. Pork loin is not a good choice of pork to «stew» with onions and garlic etc. Loin really needs to be cooked with high heat and short cooking time… not over done, as it gets very dry.(Shoulder has the higher fat content and would have stewed fork tender”) The portion of the pork loin dinner was not huge, but the banana leaves filled the plate with a very decorative flair. Ordered a side of refried beans. This is also very different from most Mex places. This was black beans as opposed to the more typical red. Also, there was a slight hint of cocoa added… traditional, and excellent! Carne Asada was superb. Came with beans, corn masa enchilados, pablanos and small portion of pico. Very nice portion. Many«Mex» places are really more«Tex Mex» This was in my opinion more traditional Mex. Reminded me a little of the food in the Yukitan. We went on a Tue evening at 6 and the place was close to filled already. We tried to go on a Saturday, but the line was out the door. Each of the people in the line including me had a reservation. It really is a small place. The waiter was very attentive, and prompt. Will be back, but will stay with week nights.

Don’t let the size or location fool you, these folks are putting out seriously good food. On a short wait for a busy Saturday night, we had drinks at the small but very well stocked bar. The tequila list is extensive and the prices are very fair for a wide range of premium pours. In addition a nice selection of Mexican beers are offered. The skinny margaritas are very good and enhanced by the bartender’s generous pour. The dining room is cozy. Service is fast and efficient. The guacamole is fresh, flavorful and slightly spicy, served with thick and crispy chips in a lava rock. Our entrees were the salmon and the spicy steak. The salmon was served in an outstanding tomatillo sauce. Spicy steak is not for the faint of heart. If you want and like hot, you’ve come to the right place. This is a professional grade heat that was excellent. These folks are not messing around. The rice was perfectly cooked. Beans were great as well. We didn’t stay for dessert given the ample portions and large appetizer. Given the quality of the other food and drink I’d look forward to trying them. Service 3.5 stars. Atmosphere 3.5 stars. Food 4 stars.

Been here a few times. I’m gonna go w a 3 star overall. Food excellent, ceviche, flautas excellent. Desert key lime could have come from Shop n Bag Additionally the top shelf drinks were a little light on top shelf liquor. Service – iffy!!! We were rushed through the courses and had to stop the staff from clearing ½ eaten appetizers multiple times Overall 3 stars, food was 4.5 stars though

Ooooooo boy!!! Not impressed… How does a Mexican place go skimpy on the chips and salsa… and no auto refill? And really — one basket and small salsa for a table of 5 adults — come on… and they charge you 3.00 for the chips 3.00 for the salsa and 3.00 if you refill — totally killed this place for me! Salsa is chunky — not too flavorful — like a pico I guess. The large guacamole is really small — it barely gave 5 of us 3 filled chips a piece — it just keeps going… wait for it… We go to pay — they don’t have change for a $ 20 and they will only take 2 credit cards… did I mention there were 5 of us? Spicy beef tacos were at least good — but not enough to give another star :(so sad because I love Mexican places because of the atmosphere and serving and service they usually give — not a great experience here — it feel like they are being really CHEAP!
