Terri Lynne Lokoff Early Learning Center

I’ve been a Lokoff family since October 2006. My oldest daughter graduated from Lokoff in June 2011 and my youngest started there in September 2011 and will be there until she graduates in 4 years. From the staff, to the education and hebrew enrichment, to the director and more, there is so much I love about Lokoff that has kept me there for so long and for years to come!

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!!! My oldest son started here when he was 10.5 weeks old and stayed until his «graduation» this past school year. My 2 year old started when he was about 12 weeks old and he still attends.
Like any childcare provider, there is going to be turnover, and in the years that I have been at Lokoff I have seen plenty. But in the last few years, they really got the formula right! The staff at the center is top notch, from the director on down! I think of these people not only as child care providers but as friends and family. To see the way my sons love their teachers (even my older son still asks to visit) warms my heart in a way that I can’t even explain.
I used to be one of those people who didn’t see the point in a curriculum for children this young, but now that I am a Lokoff parent, I wouldn’t stand for anything less. The youngest children have lesson plans and activities. Seeing what my sons have learned, and the social skills that they have acquired, has sold me on the value of a good educational program from day one!
One thing to be aware of, it is a Jewish Curriculum. Along with ABCs and music, art, sports, etc, there is Hebrew and Shabbat, and the kids learn about the Jewish holidays only. However, the community is a variety of religions and cultures.
Speaking of the community, I love the other parents. Some of my closest friends are friends I made at Lokoff. It is a tight knit group, not only within your specific rooms, but throughout the center. There are many events where parents can be involved, and the Parents Association is always actively looking for more ways to bring the community together for good times.
And the center itself was built less than 2 years ago and it is BEAUTIFUL!
Honestly, I can’t say enough wonderful things. I thank them everyday for being so wonderful, and keeping my kids happy, safe, and well educated.
