Great café! Their prices are slightly higher than I might like to pay(think comparable to Starbucks) but the quality is superb! I love their sandwiches! I especially love the vegetable panini or the curry chicken wrap. Their lattes are amazing! I would highly recommend this café.

Absolutely love this place! Always the best coffee and sandwiches. I enjoy seeing(and usually trying) the special drink of the season/week/month. Great place to grab a drink to go or hang out and do some homework!

This place is so frustrating!!! I’ve been in several times since the fall and have left empty handed everytime because they only have one soup I don’t like and a couple different kinds of sandwiches. It’s never consistent and barely ever posted on their facebook page. So if you want lunch never plan on here unless your truly open to anything for lunch because one day your only option could be a Cuban or chowder and the next a veggie sandwich.

Amesbury is getting some local places that really make it worth the trip. This is one of them. Coffee is much better than any chain. Excellent selection of chai tea, latte’s, teas. Cozy atmosphere to chat and enjoy. I didn’t have any baked goods but the donut muffin is on my list on a return trip.

This is a spot-on little coffee shop and café. No roosters, wrought iron, or country tchotchkes. Clean, modern, high-ceiling, wood-beamed space on the corner of Market Square. Well designed. Its brought the younger demographic, artists etc. out of the woodwork which is nice to see! The coffee is from NC’s Counter Culture roaster– great quality. The breakfast wraps were hot, grilled, and delicious. Blueberry scones were a knockout. This is actually FARBETTER than any coffee shop in Newburyport. It’s the kind of place you want to spend time in. Looking forward to coming here more often.

Stopped in for a pick me up ice coffee and on the recommendation from the Amesbury chamber of commerce got the cold brew version… Awesome tip! Questioned it when it was rung up at $ 4.25 for a medium iced coffee, after the first sip any doubt was gone… Hands down best coffee I’ve had in a long time! Tip to the owners… Add Riverwalk brewing to your tap setup!

I’ve been coming here almost every day since they have opened. Great atmosphere and customer service. Coffee, teas and specialty drinks they even serve beer and wine! The turkey on ciabatta panini is ridiculously good. Although everything I’ve tried so far has been delicious. If you’re ever in the area and craving a nice cup of coffee or snack this is definitely a place to try!

Sandwiches are always better when grilled. I’ve been working my way down the menu and each choice has been enjoyable and unique. Don’t let the price put you off. the sandwiches are large and are easily split between two people, especially if you are calorie conscience. The location is great and the atmosphere is very hip.

Truly outstanding! Some of the friendliest people in town waiting on you, wonderful atmosphere, great coffee, and best of all: gluten free cinnamon sugar heaven, otherwise known as «Duffins.» They are a cross between donuts and muffins, and Market Square carries both regular and gluten free, so ask for the one you’d like but either way, they are an amazing treat! I’ve met the owners and they are two young professionals working their heart out to make a great spot to meet and eat, and I applaud them! Well done!

Pretty pretentious place, actually. Got overcharged for the wrong coffee and then served a burned to the crisp panini, which I’ve posted a picture of. All in all, the service felt like a major«FU» to me, the customer, and I will never be back. Seriously, the cost of the food is not listed, which I find so incredibly hipster lame. The shop itself is beautiful and in an awesome location, which makes it a crying shame that the place isn’t welcoming or well run. Maybe you’ll be lucky and happen upon good service or maybe you’ll end up like I did spending $ 17 pre-tipping at the register for a blackened-crappy sandwich and an overpriced coffee. *update: I’ve adjusted my review from a «1star» to «3» since hearing back from one of the owners who issued an apology and offer for a refund, which was much appreciated.

Great spot. They have a wonderful assortment of baked goods and sandwiches. The coffee is excellent. I often find counter culture coffee bitter, but they brew it perfectly here. The space itself is bright and spacious. Good place to read or work(lots of outlets in accessible spots) or just to grab and go.

Best«home made» cookies around,(especially the peanut butter M&M) and the Cuban is ridiculous! I stop in a couple times a week for an Iced ‘Dirty Chai’ Not really expensive in comparison to Starbucks when you factor in quality of product

Clam chowder clam chowder clam chowder. It was delicious!!! Service was a 5, nice baristas and were very nice and welcoming. Place was absolutely clean, and had a variety of selection. Minus the clam chowder, they have so many healthy options! Almond milk, gluten free cookies, kombucha. Free wifi, street parking, i would come work here if I could, but alas, it’s vacation time. Music was a little loud so had to go outside to make phone calls.

Love the coffee and croissants! Great place to meet other business people or pick up a cup to go. Plenty of seating and wifi. Sandwiches are offered, but I have not yet tried them. They do close at 3 so get your afternoon coffee fix early.

I’am so happy about this place. I hate going to DD for coffee and Starbucks is just meh. The coffee here is great ! Their green ice tea is awesome. I have ordered a few sandwiches from them and I have really liked all of them. They are fresh and super tasty. You can tell they use really good fresh ingredients. Its not only my go to coffee spot but now it’s my go to sandwich spot in Amesbury. The pastry are very good to. The space is nice and clean, the staff is friendly and welcoming. parking can be tricky but don’t let this stop you from trying it out. Its well worth a very short walk. Look forward trying more.

Just moved to Amesbury. My husband & I just tried this place today. This WILL be our new«regular». This bakery+ is spotless, sunny & roomy. The staff was SO friendly, helpful & kind. Ordered breakfast wraps, pastries & lattes… all awesome! Brought home scones & cannot wait to go back & try the soups, salads & quiches. WiFi & Smiles galore… A true gem!!!

Love at first bite! This is THEPLACE to come for a sandwich, baked goods, and a cool vibe. And, they had donut muffins– which are my favorite! They were actually better than Downtown Bakery and Creamery in Healdsburg, Ca which is where my love affair for«The Duffin» was first created. Welcome to Amesbury and well done! (And for the other reviewer that complained about parking… Hello, it’s a downtown– you’re meant to park and walk. Maybe you should stick to strip malls so you can get your precious parking space).

Let’s just say, I’m giving it 3 stars because of the beautiful space. and I will — as I always do — give it a second chance… I ordered the vegetarian panini and it was AWFUL! omg — it was SO salty… it was mushy, with far too many ingredients so the inside stuff was barely warmed, whereas the outside was almost over cooked… they did a beautiful job on the space, but parking is a real nuisance… practically impossible in market sq so very hard to just ‘drop in’ for a coffee or snack, unless you park & walk
