Eagle Crest Property Management

This company has been known to go to the town for permits that do not apply to the construction that they’re doing. A siding permit does not mean you can build a wall around my porch. I’m only glad the neighbors in the next unit agreed with me and my girlfriend on this.
With no warning they one day showed up and started building around our porch, apparently with the intent of leaving a single side of the wall open facing the trash. The agent in charge of the property denied knowing this.
I am told the town was called to place the stop order that was next to our door for months, and that stories like this are not uncommon. The customer service was not willing to discuss this with us, only started shouting the minute we mentioned why we’d called saying they wouldn’t hear this anymore. I don’t know if someone else had called them already but this was not the reaction I expected, and they were not polite or reasonable in their conduct.
This was 2 years ago, maybe things have changed but based on my experience, I can emphatically say to avoid their properties.

No stars. These people are awful. The owner is extremely rude and should be ashamed of himself for the way he conducts his business. Never rent from them! U will regret it!

DO NOT RENT. These people certainly do not take care of their tenants if they refuse to let a disabled veteran have a wheelchair ramp installed that they would not even have to pay for or install! They do not deserve the money of hardworking people.

Refusing to allow a disabled veteran to install a ramp so that he may access a property they own. I imagine that they, like most people in Amherst, would rather burn an American Flag than fly one. Owner of Eagle Crest, JAMES CHEREWATTI, is well known for being a slumlord, and otherwise complete scumbag. Just google him. I’d love for nothing more than EVERY ONE of Eagle Crest’s properties to remain empty in future years as a massive F-​YOU to this clown.

Not even one star. They operate through a simple ethic: lie, cheat, steal. I would advice checking everything with the landlord and not believing a word they say about the property you’re looking into. James Beadle is the head of this sketchy operation. They’re playing three card Monty with apartments, taking monkey from kids and providing misery in return. The law will catch up to them soon enough

BY ANY MEANS do NOT go to Eagle Crest ESPECIALLY if you are a student. They are disrespectful and take advantage of the students attempting to find houses. Their properties are in horrible condition, and the customer service is absolutely awful. Their secretary, Yona, is one of the most rude women I have ever had a conversation with, and you will have to deal with matters through her most of the time. Save your time and MONEY and go through a different realtor because Eagle Crest is absolutely a waste of time.
