I’ve had the pleasure of being tattooed by both Mike Nomy and Miss Kyley. I’m dying to get to the new shop it looks amazing! Most of my pieces are from Kyley, her style is traditional with a air of whimsy (just like me) her take on my ideas are always much more than I could of imaged. Congrats on your successes! This is one of my favorite shops because it’s clean, spacious and the artist represent the art and the tattoo community.

Do you like traditional tattoos? If so this is the shop for you. Not only is the work high quality but every artist is a genuinely great person. I was tattooed by Justin Morcillo when he was still an apprentice back in 2009, and when I came in a year later, the shop owner Mike Nomy not only remembered me, but the tattoo I got as well and asked to see how it held up.
Couldn’t ask for a nicer group of people. If you’re looking for high quality work, done by people you can trust and get along with, look no further than South Shore Tattoo Co. There isn’t one bad thing I can say about the shop.

Found out about this place while at the Amityville Music Hall for a show. Wasnt disapointed one bit. Got exactly what I wanted and the tattoo came out better than I expected. Cheers to Garden Mike. Good guy and a great Tattoo artist. Thr place was very clean and everyone was really cool. Id deff go back for my next one.

I don’t let anyone tattoo me except Mike Nomy. He’s amazing and so is his crew. I travel from Florida when I want ink. That’s how good they are. I trust them whole heatedly.

This place is as good as it gets. Nomy has been tattooing me since before SSTC opened. I can’t tell you how many complements I get on his work on me… from my rib piece to my calf sleeve to my bicep memorial piece to the touch ups he did for me on previous work of someone else’s. Mike is fantastic and professional and SSTC and its artists reflect the same work. Above all, killer artist and great guy. Haven’t been there in a while, but would never go anywhere else. Be back soon to finish my ribs!

The entire staff at South Shore is great. Every artist there has their own unique style of tattooing which really brings a lot to the table as a shop. I have been tattooed by a few different artists at South Shore and I am very happy with the artwork I have received. Their staff is extremely knowledgeable and very well versed in their craft. The shop is kept very clean and up to code with health regulations which is very important. I have recommended them to many friends, family, and co-​workers and will continue to do so. This is not your average tattoo shop but rather a shop that actually cares for their clients and treats them all as an extension of their family rather than just another customer. 5 stars is not nearly enough for the crew at South Shore!

Mike Nomy’s artwork is proudly part of my permanent collection. I love his style and especially his use of color. The shop is spotless and I enthusiastically recommend him and his crew whenever asked about a good shop on Long Island.

Mike is amazing! I love my rib piece. So many of my friends have had work done by him. I had my first piece when he worked at Wyld Chyld in Merrick. I would follow him anywhere. Recently I got a mother/​daughter tattoo completed by Kyley. It’s beautiful– whimsical– just what we were after. The shop is clean, and everyone was very pleasant. Great place!
