Fantastic! Took my wife(then girlfriend) on Valentines day last year. We did not have a reservation and the place was packed. They were gracious enough to find us a spot and the food was utterly fantastic. I think this was quite possibly the best Lasagna I have ever eaten. Already have reservations for this Valentines Day!

Came here, had to stand at the entrance for 10 minutes without even being greeted. Finally got a table, ordered, and proceeded to wait for an hour watching people who got there after us get served. Two stars only because the food was good.

Updated review, I left a note on the check and stated how poor the food was. The owner called me from the phone number i left and apoligised and said to please come back. Updated to 3 stars based on his level of customer service. Well, wanted to try something new in Anacortes. Definately will not go again… Had reservations and got is right in which would have been no problem because there were empty tables on a Saturday night. Waiter came to the table and spoke with a heavy Italian accent… how can this place not be good. Service was horribly slow. Ordered the clams. Took forever to get. Wife was trying to explain what the taste was besides salty… i said processed and she said yes thats it. Would definitely not order again. Meals came. Had the veal and a seafood dish. Everything was way overcooked and just not very good. I wish I could have said something positve about the dinner here, but there was nothing, which is to bad. I dont think this restaurant will survive in Anacortes.

Not sure where the positive reviews are coming from. These people must not have eaten at the restaurant.

My boyfriend and I stopped by here after work on a Wednesday, and there wasn’t a soul in the building outside of the waitstaff– but it was absolutely delicious! We thought about taking a photo— after we had eaten it all. Oops! He had the Fettuccini Alfredo con Pollo, and I had the Lobster Ravioli. Our server was incredibly knowledgable, and our glasses never ran dry! Great find! We will definitely be back.

Best clam dish on Earth. Must try the clams once in your life. Great place for an intimate evening with a friend.

I work here but I am not biased when it comes to the food! Excellent specials that are fresh and tasty. If you aren’t feeling Like a special Try the lasagne or the gnocchi; they are handmade and amazing. Salads are big enough to share for a starter and save room for dessert; I recommend the tiramisu or the chocolate mousse. Both are made in house and are scrumptious! The wine selection is great and Michele is an expert and recommending a delicious wine to pair with your meal.

This place consistently rocks! Miguel really knows his wines(don’t be afraid to be adventurous with the Italian varietals). I had the lamb shank. I’d give this 5 out of 5 stars. Just about the best I’ve had. It melts off the bone with deep juicy earthy flavors. Their Lasagne is outstanding too. Full disclosure; I am an avowed regular.

This restaurant is a gem! The authentic Italian that I’ve been looking for in WA! So happy I tried here! I’m very picky about Italian food, having been to Italy many times and living there. Ciao Bella is officially my go to Italian now! We had crab bisque, fettuccini alle vongole and chicken parmigian. All delicious!

Best chicken Parmesan I’ve ever had. Quite pricey, well worth it. Excellent for special occasions!

My brother and I had Caesar salad and a side order of calamari along with their fantastic Italian bread and olive oil. It was absolutely perfect, delicious and highly recommended. We will be back

Good little place for a Italian dinner in friendly, coastal Anacortes, WA. Staff friendly and willing to please its customers. Cozy inside with 2⁄4 seating snd one room has larger tables for a larger groups. Appetizers very good especially eggplant, pasta dishes prepared carefully. Chicken dishes tender and juicy. Wine selection good. Check it out in this quaint island town on the way to San Juan Islands.

Amazing. Great food and wine. Large selection for everyone. Will definitely be back. Only slight disappointment was the antipasto plate. Hazelnut gelato was amazing too! Lasagna to die for! Carbonara pasta so good!

So it took us a while to get back, and in the interim they either got a new chef, got a new recipe, or had a very bad night, because what had previously been one of my favorite calamari, had become one of the worst. The rest of the meal was so-so at best. In the end, we’ll give them another try, and hope it was just an off night.

Ever since Ciao Bella has come to Anacortes, it has been difficult to eat anywhere else in our town. The service is wonderful. And I believe that the spaghetti with clams is as good as anywhere in Italy.

The food here was excellent, a big surprise after some poor service and a long wait just to get served /get some drinks. We must have waited nearly 15min after sitting to get drinks or someone to take an order. However, once our order was in it arrived quickly. Portions are large! The bolognese was very good as were the clams. Wine was average but the highlight really was the food, shame about the service. Worth a visit for the food, try not to be put off by the service!

My second visit to this restaurant. Always greeted with warmth and a smile. Pleasant seating area with discrete music playing in background. Inventive specials. Tonight my other guests enjoyed a ribeye steak in Gorgonzola sauce accented with a balsamic vinegar reduction. The steak was superb, the sauce rich and creamy with just a touch of tartness from the balsamic reduction. I had the penne puttanesca and found it perfect. The pasta was al dente with the perfect amount of sauce. I found the sauce just tart enough for my liking, with a perfect blend of olives, capers and a hint of anchovy. My other guests ordered Fettuccine Bolognese and were extremely satisfied. I have had the fettuccine before and it is rich and filling and a very large serving. Sauced beautifully and very fairly priced! For dessert we shared chocolate mousse and tiramisu. Both were rich, filling and wonderful. Gotta love this place!

Anacortes gained a great eatery when Ciao Bella relocated from Seattle. What a great find — we stopped here the other night and had the best antipasto ever. For dinner we ordered seafood pasta and Gnocchi in Gorgonzola sauce. They were all fantastic– it was hard to choose because they all sounded delicious, If our selections were any indications, everything tastes as good as it sounds. While the restaurant is large by Anacortes standards, they have separated the dining area into three sections, so you don’t feel like its too large. A really classy restaurant, yet a casual atmosphere that adapts to what you need for the evening. Highly recommend this restaurant for your evening out.

Amazing, in every aspect. I had the fettuccini bolognese-OFF THECHARTSGOOD. Clearly simmered all day long, the sauce was meaty, rich and flavorful. My husband had the ribeye with Gorgonzola cream sauce, it too was fantastic. The owner is actually from Italy, so that’s a bonus! Check out this great little gem-don’t let the less than attractive outside prevent you from going inside and experiencing true, delectable, authentic Italian cuisine! NOTE: went back for my birthday, and my son’s pizza looked suspiciously like a Digiorno frozen pizza. That was NOT the case, the first time we went(that pizza was thin crusted, bubbly cheese, def homemade) While our food was really tasty, I was really disappointed by the OBVIOUS pre fab pizza.
