Guess what? This is my 711^th review. What a better place than 7-​eleven itself.
This is my go to for morning coffee, lottery tickets, ice, protein drinks, protein bars, morning milk, magazines, stuff like that. The little things I need right away and I am to lazy to drive to the grocery store for. Or when its 6:00am and there is expired milk in my fridge or no more protein drinks. It is quick and easy and Im out easy peasy.
The coffee here is nice and strong. Especially the Brazilian blend. Grab a cup, chose one of about 8 flavors of coffee, add one of many syrups, creamers, spices, ect. All for about $ 2.00.
Service here is always friendly. Employees are always talkative, at least to me. Lots of smiles.
Okay, now listen. I’m not going to lie to you. This spot is NOT in the best area. It is next to a laundry mat and Donut shop. This is certainly not a place to be at 2:00am, Alone. It is a little scary. I did it once, on a ice cream run and probably never again. At least not when it’s dark. During the day lots of people hang out in front and to the side of the building, asking for handouts so be careful. I am used to it, but new visitors may not be.

I’ve been coming to this location because it’s on the way to wherever I’m going, and that’s usually to or from streets to LB/​freeway to LA. as traffic driving down Orange Ave is easier than Ball Road.
The area is kinda sketchy, next to a laundromat, cleaners across the street, as well as a bootleg Albertos. The 7-​Eleven is ok, has kind of a stale smell in the store itself, selection is 7-​Eleven typical, I’m in and out for the simple things (ie — money order, Fee Free ATM, or an organic Rockstar) — and I’m onto wherever my destination is.

(Edit): I may slow my business here as today (7.30.15) a burly, older, white haired white male confronted me because I gave a panhandler 2 bucks I had, as he sat near the store. I make my purchase, leave, and as I head to the door the white haired man confronts me — «You give that guy money?» I said «Yes». He then says «We don’t allow that here». I say «So» & walk out. This is public property, if it’s not allowed, then why is he there to do such? He can, I did, and was going about my business, lol, he then starts filming me or taking pictures of me getting in car. I tell him, I’ll be here tomorrow. Because (in all likelihood) — I will. (Downgrade from 3 to 2 stars for allowing such types within your premises).

They at very corner! Staff is nice. Went in there to get a big pepsi drink

This 7 Eleven seems to have a smaller selection of beer than most stores.

Good spot two mins from work. Next door is a donut shop that has the best french horns. Works well for the long wednesday night.
