Very nice uncle who gave us extras with everything we ordered. The Brother loved the donut holes. I like the blueberry ones. Will come back often

Nice man went in for a couple of donuts he gave us 4free. They were left over from the day before but they were still fresh, he says he saves them for kids qho come in after. school and don’t have enough change. That’s awesome. Going to continue supporting this local mom and pop shop!

A doughnut shop that isn’t run by cambodians, haha. Actually I never heard of the stereotype til i was out of Hs. I would come here after school for a snack after dad picked me and my siblings over 20 yrs ago. The donuts were ok in the afternoon. They also served ice cream.

Been picking up donuts from here from time to time and each time I spend a few dollars, I receive come extra goodies. Small shop with a bright glow, so stop in and start your morning right!

I didn’t expect anything special about this place, from its humble location, but I’m glad to be wrong. The older Asian man who owns it is very friendly and always gives free donut holes to me with purchase. There’s a younger guy who’s also very friendly waiting the counter at times. It’s a hole in the wall take-out donut and coffee spot that also sells sodas, water cooler jug refills, etc. Don’t expect anything fancy. They are not open late in the evening, unfortunately, and their hours are not posted. The owner makes the donuts at 4 am every morning, so go early for the freshest donuts and best selection. Sometimes they’ll have run out of certain things by evening, especially Sat-Mon as that’s when the laundromat next door is packed with people. Once when they were out of jelly donuts, the younger guy was kind enough to make me one by putting filling in a glazed bar. That said, if you like jelly donuts, you HAVE to try theirs, fresh in the a.m. The lemon is my favorite. You know how at DK Donuts you usually get a stingy lump of jelly only on one side and the rest is plain bread? Not so at Big Dan’s. I always get an evenly filled donut with plenty of jelly. The lemon filling is nice and thick and tangy. Raspberry is good too. As for the other donuts, I like their raised ones, chocolate bar is $ 1 and that’s the way to go for me. About a year ago I went in the evening and got a cake donut that seemed a day old. Hasn’t happened again, but just so you know.
