In Anaheim for Valentines weekend — found this place on Unilocal.Ate lunch here twice in 3 days. Huge sandwiches, fresh ingredients, Dietz & Watson meats. Nothing short of Awesome! We’re from New England so know a little bit about NY delis. This one is every bit as good as any deli we’ve ever been to.

A superlative sandwich experience awaits in Anaheim. Fellow OC Unilocaler Steve S. clued me on the greatness of BRONX Sandwich Company and I made it a point to visit as soon as possible to give their take on a classic Pastrami Sandwich. I am glad I did, I found a great new spot for the luncheon rotation. The menu is simple, straight forward and as creative as any sandwich spot would ever need to be. The portions are large and the prices are reasonable so you really have no reason to give these guys the Pepsi challenge. They offer two distinctly different Pastrami sandwiches. The East Coast Pastrami is the classic and the West Coast is an abomination to mankind with melted American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo and mustard. Do not go this route. It is sheer heresy. The East Coast Pastrami however is a powerhouse in smoked and brined Brisket. A decent amount of piping hot Pastrami and Gulden’s mustard is the ingredient list. Well, that and the addition of your choice of delivery mechanism(go with the Rye. No, really… get the Rye). All of the ingredients are deafeningly fresh and the tangy zip of the mustard cuts through the salty, smoky Pastrami meat seemingly in unison making BRONX Sandwich Company’s Pastrami quite unique. It could be argued that the Rye was a bit muted but that would be countered easily with the fact it doesn’t get in the way. A very real contender in OC’s anemic Pastrami scene. I am a big fan of BRONX Sandwich Company and also Steve S. for helping me find it.

All I can say is Bronx Is legit. The location is perfectly located close to Disneyland and other attractions. But what really makes this place stand out is the food, the bread and the side dishes. I had the pastrami sandwich and let me tell you I would put there pastrami sandwich up against The Hat any day. Also parking is easy with front and back parking lots. The atmosphere here is great and also the owner has something special here with the sandwiches they make. I am definitely going back there I rather make the drive to Anaheim then find some place local.

First time trying Bronx sandwiches and it’s freaking bomb! I had the philly cheese and it’s hot and taste bomb. Comes on a fresh hot baguette! The French fries are freshly made and are also hot and good! Definitely will be coming back again! My girlfriend had«The Boss» and she loved it too! Not to mention their customer service was outstanding. Only negative(which I don’t really care for anyway) was there’s only one size sandwich advertised. But like I said I don’t care because the regular philly cheese is large enough for me to have half now half later!

First time trying Bronx sandwiches co. Ordered the Philly cheese steak sandwich, and oh my hands down one of the best I’ve had. I even had a fellow BRONX boy with me and he said«oh my these almost taste like the ones back home» Can’t wait to try all the sandwiches there. Service was fantastic, very friendly and super helpfull! Definatly a 5 star and highly recommended, you gotta try this place.

I’m not usually a sandwich guy, but the Bronx Sandwich Co is going to make me into one. The sandwiches here were HUGE&GOOD! First of, the service was Great! Friendly and super helpful. They were willing to adjust on the fly without a quibble. Awesome! I got The Boss«Sliced thin Capocolla „spicy ham“, Genoa Salami, Italian Mortadella, Provolone Cheese, Mozzarella Cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, olive spread and Italian dressing — on a hero» The French Baguette was really good. It’s a little crusty outside and soft inside, perfect to hold this monster of a sandwich. The meats were all good and piled high. No complaints from me. The olive spread complimented everything on this sandwich perfectly. It’s so big, I was only able to eat half. Needless to say I had a very good breakfast the next day =) Yum! My wife got The Philly Cheese«Sliced thin beef, melted Provolone Cheese, grilled bell peppers, onions, mushrooms and mayo — on a hero» Delicious! The beef was very tasty and the veggies were perfect. Mayo on a sandwich for me is a must, check! I would get this again. Grilled Cheese on wheat bread w/Bacon on the side. This was not on the menu, but they gladly made it for my son. That was very much appreciated. Oh, it was Good! They made it with wheat bread which my son usually doesn’t like, but he loved it. So did I. That was just so good, they should put it on the menu. We ordered a side of bacon for the boy and the owner knew it was for the munchkin and I know he gave us extra bacon(I appreciated that gesture and thank you!!). That was a good pile of bacon and my son ate it all =) They have that fancy shmancy Coke Machine where you can customize your drink. I love these machines. lol Parking shouldn’t be a problem, it’s a big plaza with ample parking. Price was reasonable. Considering the size of the sandwiches, it was well worth the price. All three sandwiches we got were a hit. The owner was super friendly and helpful. Bronx, you’re going to make me into a sandwich guy yet =) Definitely try this place, you’ll thank me later!

This place is amazing! I normally try to stay away from sandwiches, but my dad told me I had to try this place! I’m glad I listened to him. The owner is very nice and helpful. We had the hero and the owners pick: the brisket sandwich. Both to die for. I also got a black and white cookie(can’t pass one by when I see them) and the philly fries. While we were eating the owner sent over coffee cake he flew in from New York. He wasn’t lying when he said it was going to be the best I’ve ever had. I will now be flying I my coffee cake from New York as well. We will be back. –southpaw

Legit sandwich shop. I actually wanted a pastrami sandwich but since an hour before stopping here I downed a pastrami dip from The Hat, I decided to split a Bronx Club with my wife and save the pastrami for another time. I usually look for Boar’s Head when going into a deli and didn’t find that here but they do have Dietz & Watson which is also very good lunch meats. The bread was honestly the best part and could happily eat just that. The sandwich was definitely fair in size, the meat tasted great, and I’d order this one again sans avocado(I am weird and don’t like it. is what my wife says about me!) and they could scale back on the lettuce and add maybe more meat instead so it’s not like I’m eating a salad on a bun. The sandwich came with a pickle and some peppers that were good. The workers were helpful and I’d stop by again if I were in the area.

This is a must visit for you messy sandwich lovers! The offer a variety of sandwiches and awesome fries. This isn’t a subway or jersey mikes but a big portion customer sandwich using top quality ingredients! Come hungry cause your taste buds are going to exploded with flavor. I ordered the West Coast pastrami with the manhattan fries! Excellent with huge cuts of pastrami and globs of hot cheese on my sandwich on s very chewy fresh french roll. The manhattan fries has loads of cheese with pastrami! Wow this place is good and filling. The customer service was excellent and one of the girls, I couldn’t understand what she was saying but so I said yes to what she said and she brought out some free pickles and peppers. Nice touch!

Yes, the BRONX Sandwich Co. lives up to it’s 5 star rating from the good food the the excellent service; these guys really know how to run a sandwich shop, from good customer service to perfect bread. I tried various sandwiches at BRONX Sandwich Co. and my favorite was the Shrimp Po Boy, an item that is the worst on every other restaurant’s menu. Not here. Before you leave, don’t forget their NY imported desserts. We ordered so many sandwiches, we were even comped a free coffee bread flown in from NY which was TDF. Save a trip to New York and head over to BRONX Sandwich Co. for an awesome sandwich experience.

If you have ever read any of my reviews you know that I love a good sandwich, and that is exactly what you will get at The Bronx sandwich Co. It is located on the north west corner of Ball Road and Euclid in a strip mall just a few doors down from Rita’s Italian ice . The menu is pretty simple with 8 to 10 hot sandwiches and about the same number of cold sandwiches. They also have a few salads but if you’re coming to a place that specializes in sandwiches I couldn’t imagine going for a salad. My husband went with the King of Queens: Mixed and piled high hot pastrami, corned beef, Swiss cheese and Gulden’s mustard — on your choice of rye or hero. He loved it. Now here is where I insert the part about the most amazing service — apparently my husband was served the wrong sandwich unbeknownst to him. He was about a third of the way into the sandwich when the manager brought over the correct sandwich that he ordered, it was so apologetic. They then proceeded to wrap up the other half of the«wrong» sandwich to go. My husband liked said«wrong» sandwich so much, he asked the manager which sandwich it was, because he would order it again. I went with the Bronx Club: Golden roasted turkey, creamy Havarti cheese, crispy bacon, Hass avocado, lettuce, tomatoes and mayo. This was one huge sandwich, and could easily have fed two people. The bread was warm and crusty, and the Dietz and Watson meats were fresh and delicious. I can’t wait to return so I can try out another one of their sandwiches.

It’s not every day you’re gonna eat food that will eventually give you a heart attack or clogged arteries, well unless your plan is to have a heart attack or clogged arteries, then more power to you. Although I wouldn’t suggest it, as if you did want to kill yourself, it is now legal in California for assisted medical suicide. Although when I think about it again, eating yourself to death probably would be more fun. Anyways I digress. If you are interested in eating yourself to death, I would highly recommend eating here every day. The food is next level on the comfort food scale. Just pure yummy gooey goodness. It took us some time to get our food, which I was completely find with because they were actually making the food. It wasn’t like we were at subway, ordering something and then they pull a slab of whatever out of a bucket, take of some paper and throw it down on some bread. They guys in the kitchen were baking bread, slicing off pastrami, cooking up sausages and other meats. I gotta stop writing this review because now I’m thinking about it and for me this is a once in a while thing because I’m not trying to die of a heart attack.

New deli place that looks like it’s getting ready to add beer to its menu! Pastrami, philly cheese steak and a whole bunch of open or closed meat sandwiches. Parking: plenty of mall parking

I was feeling like a cold sandwich and decided to give this place a try. They have both cold and hot sandwiches on the menu to choose from. The employees were nice and inside was clean. There was a bit of a mix up when our order was ready at the same time as another persons, but it was sorted out quickly. They use Dietz & Watson meats and condiments and bread options are French baguette, rye and wheat. It was sort of busy inside, so if you are on a time limit for lunch I’d suggest phoning your order in or placing an order online since they offer that option from their website. Bronx Club($ 8.99) — This sandwich had turkey, Havarti cheese, bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomato and mayo and I asked for it on a French baguette. The sandwich was a good size for the price and tasted good. The bread was very good and held up everything nice. They also offer fries, salads and rice bowls.

I came here for a very late lunch and early dinner yesterday while I had a gap in between my classes at Anaheim and it was a very good meal. It was my first time here and Danny was very helpful! I told him that I wanted to try a pastrami sandwich and he definitely knew what he was talking about. He told me about all the different pastrami sandwiches but in the end, I decided with the east coast pastrami sandwich! I also added grilled onions and mushrooms because I felt a little guilty so I wanted to add some veggies in it. LOL! The sandwich was delicious! It comes with a pickle and banana peppers with is a great combo with pastrami! It’s definitely a sandwich that you want to eat right away when it’s fresh and hot! I really want to come back to try other sandwiches and the fries! All in all, food was great! Service was great! Store was clean! What more can you ask for?

(This review is based strictly on the Street Fries experience) Wanted to try a sandwich but already had a homemade sandwich for lunch, so opted for fries with toppings. BRONX delivered in a stupendous way! The Manhattan(grilled pastrami, onions and American cheese over crispy string fries) for $ 8.99 is gloriouslyummy! The Philly Cheese fries(Philly steak, bell peppers, mushrooms, melted provolone over string fries) for $ 8.99 is ridiculouslyummy! Served in a round foil bowl, they both taste great. The melded combination of ingredients really pop welcoming flavors in your mouth. And that’s that. If you love skinny fries with toppings you should try one of them out. Inside on a late afternoon, place was clean and not busy at all. Plenty of seats. They also have salads, extras and chips. Prices are like Quiznos or Togo’s but quality I’d say is on another level. Atmospherically unique. I’ll come back around for a sandwich next.

I saw a post on instagram that showed this amazing looking cheese type of fries. It happened to be philly cheese steak fries l, so I had to go and try it. Nothing can stop me from getting fries fuzed with meat! I ordered an original philly cheese steak and a manhattan fries, which is pastrami, onions, and melted cheese. It was not as I expected, but still good. I would rather have fries that are more poutine based with a gravy where the fries get soggy/soft. In this case the fries were still crisp with melted cheese and it was really good. My girlfriend prefers crisp so she loved it. The pastrami meat was sliced to perfection. The meats they used are sliced fresh to order, so you know its good. I would give these fries a 4 of 5 because i just wanted the fries to be softer, thats all. As for the philly cheese steak with came with cheese, peppers, and onions, and the steak. The bread was definitely amazing and it was O-sooo cheezy! Every bite had cheese, but sometime didn’t have meat, which could be disheartening, but still good nonetheless. I am not a philly cheese steak pro, but i would want a row of meat at every bite. I only ate half the sandwich so, it still is A LOT of food. Adding to the ‘gravy’ is that they have that coke vendor where you have innumerable flavors, which is always a plus! I enjoyed my meal and I will definitely come back to try the other pastrami and cornbeef sandwiches. It was just the little things that kept me from giving it a 5. Thanks Bronx for the meal!
