Very cute restaurant! I tried noodle and some roll(can’t remember the name) Presentation was really nice and tasted super yummy! Servers were friendly and attentive. Love how they serve green tea ice cream as a complimentary dessert! Previous owner used to serve sandwiches in this location. Think the new concept with rolls and noodles are so much better! Good job Café Misora!

Great spot for lunch. They’re very friendly and welcoming. I like getting their teriyaki bowls, udon noodles, gyazos and their rolls. Their pricing is decent so I spend a little more than ten dollars most days but less than 20. Often times they give out free green tea ice cream.

I had their full sized Washington roll, and it was big as the Washington monument.: D The sashimi covered ¾ of the roll’s circumference, where many other places cover ¼. It also came with small salad. I usually don’t feel full after eating a roll, but I stopped with 1 piece left to consider if I had room for one more. LOL I held back 1 star because they gave me the weak(light green) wasabi. I usually just dab wasabi over my roll without soy sauce, and it was disappointing to not experience the stinging burn on the roof of my mouth.

Excellent service. Hidden gem. Decently priced and you can order smaller portions of the sushi. I enjoyed the Tempura Lover, Diablo sushi and Wonderwoman Burrito. They also give out free green tea ice cream too!

Love this place! I’m lucky enough to work around the corner, so we eat here regularly. The sushi is fantastic and the ramen is very good as well. One of the best kept secrets in OC.

Ordered the Steak teriyaki small box. For $ 6.50 and what I received I think the order was over priced. Definitely not generous as majority of the Unilocalers commented. The box contained salad and 2 really small slices of oranges(size of a clementine orange slices). As far as the complementary green tea ice cream, it never came. And I was there for more than one hour(one and a half hours). ANDNO, at times they were not busy. Will I be back? No. Urban Grill on Orangethrope and Beach is a much better deal for my money. At Urban Grill, I never had an ordered that I felt the dish had more rice than meat. Oh my, they are selective. They people next to me just got complementary green tea ice cream. DEFINITELYWILLNOTBEBACK. Downgrading from 3 stars to 2 stars.

I’ve been here twice and both times I’ve had an amazing meal! Today I had the chicken cutlet with shrimp crunch roll(no eel sauce, add cream cheese) and it was so good! The food came out hot and fresh and the service was quick and friendly. I also love that we get green tea ice cream at the end of our meal! Thank you so much for the great service and food!

I ordered spicy ramen with beef. The flavor is pretty good but the taste really reminds me those instant noodle pack you get from Asia market. Beef is marinated not plain which is okay I guess. Not a big fan of sweet marinated beef. A bit disappointed but for this price, I guess you can’t really expect too much.

Shhhhhh! Café Misora is the best kept secret of North Orange County. The sushi here is well put together and reasonably priced. While Café Misora doesn’t scream modern couture, this no frills place packs a flavorful punch with each and every roll and plate they dish out. My favorite? The Jala Jala. It’s as fun to eat as it’s fun to say. The Jala Jala will make you holla with its spicy tuna atop a shrimp tempura roll. It strikes a perfect balance with the inherent sweetness of the rice and the kick of the spicy tuna and jalapeño. There’s a good textural contrast as well with the slight crunch on top and in the tempura. The tiger roll is also very good. The shrimp is a perfect sweet, no soy sauce needed. In fact, none of the rolls need any soy sauce, which for me is perfect. Keep at Café Misora. If it keeps going this way, you have a customer for life!

I just discovered this place and it’s so close to my job I could walk there. I ordered the baked salmon roll and it came with a side arugula salad with a homemade light balsamic dressing. The salmon rolls had thin slivers of red onion on top as well as a sprinkle of eel sauce. This is by far the best baked salmon I’ve tasted. The restaurant was nice and clean, the menu had plenty of items to chose from but not too overwhelming. The staff was very inviting and friendly. There is nice lounge seating in the back of the restaurant and there are tvs and they even let you have the remote controls to change the channel. It’s a nice little lunch spot. I went around 1 and it wasn’t crowded which was cool. I would definitely recommend this place and I’m looking forward to trying some of their other menu items.

This is right across the street from school from me! Have tried it several times with classmates, we usually order different stuff each time and share so I’ve tried over a dozen dishes from here already maybe even 2 dozen! There hasn’t been anything that’s disappointed me so far and the complimentary salad and ice cream were really good as well I was pleasantly surprised! Definitely going to be coming here more when classes start up again, I like that I can place an order ahead of time and just drop by to grab it if I have a short lunch break!

First time here! Planned this for my birthday yea! Took my friend who didn’t want to go but she was treating me for my birthday and I got to choose where to go LOL all she wanted was egg rolls so ok it’s her choice? I ordered the spicy ramen and the spicy chicken box couldn’t decide between the two after all she was paying LOL got my food and everything was great!!! Hot, fresh and just enough spice didn’t even have to add anything to the food like extra spice or soy sauce nothing and the funny thing was my friend helped herself to my food and really enjoyed it!!! The bowl of ramen was large enough for both of us to share I probably could not of eaten it by myself anyway so it was great we shared I took the rest of the spicy chicken home with me!!! Birthday dinner as well for later lucky me Service was excellent and above standard prices were reasonable for what you got food was excellent Would go back again and my friend will too she really enjoyed it Egg rolls were to die for !!!

Wow, this place has 5 stars… I feel bad giving 4 stars now… but I’ll save it for another visit, I guess… Their hours are pretty short. I would never find or know about this place if it wasn’t for Unilocal… It’s in an industrial area and it really does not stand out at all. I was surprised there were quite of few people in there.(Probably all found it through Unilocal too) The owner lady(?) was very sweet welcoming and very nice and friendly. ^o^ The beef teriyaki is really good. I wasn’t a fan of the salad dressing, though. Definitely can’t go wrong with their teriyaki… I would definitely come back for the steak again. Mmm I could have ate way more of those. They use iPads here.

AMAZING quality sushi for good prices. I have been to «fast food» sushi places and i’m usually disappointed by their freshness & quality… plus selection. But this place is A+!! Customer service is so friendly and the Hot Night roll was made perfectly with spicy tuna and temura shrimp. Really enjoyed. Their salads look great too(and i hate salad). I can’t wait to come back again! Highly recommended. Plus the green tea ice cream is delicious, very flavorful.

This place was a true gem of a find. We’re on field assignment, it was raining, and had a huge hankering for the warmth of hot soup. Ramen was the obvious choice and Unilocal was more than willing to oblige. We almost missed the place had I not seen the sign. It was in an industrial type of building, nothing fancy, so keep your eyes peeled . I had the spicy ramen and a half order of the shrimp crunch roll. The soup base was so good and had the right spices, I added the chicken for my protein, yum! My friend ordered the miso based ramen and half California roll… she too, had nothing but praises for the cook! We were so happy and content with our meal but had to go back to work, we started to leave. The owner(we decided she must be one of the owners) stopped us with a tray of free green tea ice cream. Score!!!

Every time I come here for lunch break I find it such a nice experience. From first glance, you might overlook this restaurant because of its’ awkward and hidden location, but please at least try!!! You will be pleased. First of all, the staff are all very helpful and accommodating. Two things I love about this restaurant: The food is inexpensive and also very DELICIOUS! Anything with steak is a must here. I personally love their steak udon soup and steak bowl. I’ve tried most of the sushi rolls and I really like the jala jala(spicy). The crunchy roll is good when you’re in the mood for fried sushi ;) it’s so yummy! My friends/classmates are hooked as well! At the end of our meals they always give us complimentary green tea ice cream. Thanks for the consistent and awesome customer service!

This place is awesome! You just really have to go and find it because it is hidden and tucked away in one of those small business plazas. With that said, this is by far, one of the best service that I have gotten in a restaurant. I hope that this never changes because irregardless of where I live, I will come back to this place if not for the service alone. The people that work their are very attentive to their customers without being over bearing and they were able to given suggestions on what food items to try. They also offer a variety of food items such as such as bagel sandwiches for breakfast and sushi, ramen, and teriyaki bowls for their lunch/dinner. Aside from that this place also has smoothies, which is pretty cool. To top it off, they offer FREE green tea ice cream, which was delicious. Their food items were all fresh, delicious, reasonably priced and I would recommend this place for anyone to come and try.

Our group stopped by for lunch here. A fairly small place but the food was the best. It’s a Japanese place that has a variety of choices. I ordered the sushi and ramen and they were both great. The food is on par with many other Japanese place I’ve tried but it’s unique in its own way. The order was a little mixed up but they gave us more free sushi and ice cream as a compliment. This little place has a casual and a hole in the wall kind of place.

Wow. Simple café but lots of heart and passion into the food here. I came two days in a row and was very happy with the food and the service. I got great value and highly recommend anyone in the area to check it out. Its a great place to eat on a daily basis especially for the business in the area. I ordered the large spicy chicken and it was pretty impressive. There was a nice blend of different colors, textures, and flavors. They had some broccoli as well as some other veggies which came in the form of salad. Macaroni also came as one of the sides. The portions were very generous and you also get a free drink when you check into Unilocal. The service was superb as well. The people seemed very genuine and as far as i could tell, remembered the names of all the customers.
