One of the worst attitude places I have been in. They are stingy on food and even on the napkins. I heard them speak in Chinese and let’s just say after that I didn’t finish my food and can’t go back there again

Last minute Easter dinner, nothing was open. So we found this place and gave it a try since we live 2 blocks from it. The place isn’t the greatest looking inside, so it freaks you out if your just passing by. But I went off of Unilocal that had okay rating. The food was a 7 wasn’t the healthiest choice, the orange chicken was good and tasted like most orange chickens. They give big portions. Worth the money, 1 item is $ 5.89 which isnt bad. Panda is always safe because it’s such a big brand. Going to small places always freak you out. Because u can get food poison. But overall it was good. Customer service was okay, nothing great.

This place use to be so delicous. You also need to come at the right time an hour before closing could get you some old portions. Other than that the food is great. Customer service is virtually non existent. But i come for the food not the subpar attitude.

I have been coming here for years. Their food is always good, they don’t skimp on the portions. Best Chinese take out food! My favorite is their chow mein, they use good thick noodles! The food always looks fresher than other Chinese places. It may look like a hole in the wall from the outside but you will be surprised at the quality of food!

The Chinese food tastes like actual Chinese food. When I first saw this restaurant I was a little scared that it would not have authentic Chinese food. The honey walnut shrimp was so good that I come here now just for the shrimp

I love this place, been coming here for years, ever since they open in the mid 90s. For a fast food Chinese restaurant, you get 5-star restaurant taste without the price. Its delicious, fast with great portions. I especially love their Kung Pao Chicken, Bourbon chicken, and Chop Suey(mixed veggies). They also have a great al la carte menu with speciality items cook when order, I like their Hot and Sour soup the best, especially on a cold day. I moved away recently, and miss this food so much.

Last night my friends and I went there. I don’t usually eat at new Chinese restaurants, but I was really craving Chinese food. When we pulled up at ‘China Wall’ I had this bad feeling I was going to like it. My friends ordered their food while I went to go get Starbucks. When I came back they were all complaining that it wasn’t good, and why did we choose to come here. Point is don’t go to China Wall if you want to wake up to stomach pains.

When I first caught sight of the restaurant sign proclaiming ‘CHINAWALL’ in the middle of a plaza filled with burger joints, tacos, and other non-Asian fast food, I was seriously skeptical that this place would be any good. What kind of Chinese restaurant has to be that bold in saying ‘we’re Chinese?’ The restaurant storefront was hardly visible, narrowly situated as it was. Nonetheless, I was seriously craving some Asian food and braved the outside sketchiness to enter. The instant I entered, I realized this was legit Chinese fast food. Those stalls, that food counter, the menu sign were all in the way of Chinese fast food joints. I came a little after dinnertime and there was still a pretty good flow of customers coming and going. Walking up to the counter, I saw the familiar shine of oil and grease. The servers were chatting together at a nearby table when I walked in, but looked up and swiftly took their place behind the counter as I approached. I ordered – nothing special, just a 2-item combo with fried rice and noodles along with a little cup of water. There wasn’t anything particularly distinctive about the food either.(What is it about Chinese fast food joints that they manage to all taste pretty much the same?! It feels like they all learned how to cook from the same great distant ancestor.) They pack it into a Styrofoam takeout box whether or not you’re dining in. BUT. What blew me away from my visit was the AMAZINGLYHUGE, GINORMOUS portions they served me with here. The lady who served me(she looked to be the younger of the two there) PACKED my tray completely full. SERIOUSLY. By the time she was done adding rice and noodles at the beginning, I was worried she wouldn’t have space to add anything else in because they were already spilling out of their compartments past the middle line. But boy was I wrong! She kept heaping large ladlefuls of appetizers upon my tray until it was a fat, glistening mountain of food. I don’t think I’ve ever had anyone serve me more food for a serving in my life. I’m not terribly big or anything, either! Just your average short Asian chick. Nonetheless, given that portion sizes are hugely important when it comes to Asian fast food(after all, you’re not going to satisfy your taste buds), I think this experience warranted a walloping 5 stars. By the time I was satisfied by my food, the tray started to look more like a normal-sized portion. I planned to eat it for another 2 meals if I don’t get sick of all that fat. Maybe I’ll enlist someone else for help.

This is overall my favorite Chinese place. They make the best honey shrimp! I always get that and the bourbon chicken! They make the honey shrimp to order too so it’s always deliciously fresh! I use to come 2 times a week. Only downfall of this place is that they are closed on Sundays.

So far for our first time it was good customer service, while we got there there wasn’t really that much left as they saw us walking out they told us they will make fresh food for us! And man was it good! Right by our house so we will definitely be coming back!

Been going here since I was a young lad. Staff is very friendly and food is always on point! Portions are never an issue. Only issue would be the lack of investment in the lease improvements. They can put a little more color in the place but then again, my family and I always take it to go. Nonetheless, I’m a sucker for good food and exceptional service. I recommend giving this location some time out of your busy schedule, you won’t regret it!

Chow mein/rice is good, not outstanding. They only give you a fortune cookie if you buy it by the pack for $ 1. Why exactly would I desire 6 fortune cookies?

Gross, nasty, despicable, deplorable, small portions, gristly chicken, flies in the restaurant, hardly any air conditioning, a soda machine that is out of almost all sodas, and that’s not even the half of it. I got the one item mushroom chicken with chow mein. The chow mein was really flavorless, and despite dumping sriracha and soy sauce on it, it still wasn’t enjoyable. Like I said above, the chicken was gristly and gross. I ate a few bites and just ended up throwing this away. Too expensive for shitty quality food.

Been coming here for years with my fiancé. The only thing I’m not a fan of is that the Coconut Shrimp is a bit dry and that they only have soda… where’s the unsweetened tea? I can’t hang with that.

the up side is that they dont skimp you out on the items when they jam pack that into your to go box. Nom nom nom. i usually get a 2 item combo. comes with fried rice & chowmein mein & ur 2 item comes out to be less than 7 $. — mushroom chicken = good — orange chicken = no meat, too much breading :( — chicken wings = good enough for a fast food chinese place lol — teriyaki chicken = good i use to come here all the time back in junior high, that’s yearssssss ago. the quality of the food here has gone downhill :(or maybe my taste bud has a higher standard since i’m older lol

Warning: If you’re looking for warm employees that smile and engage in some sort of small talk with you, then you should avoid this place completely. They aren’t friendly in the least– even after coming here for years. Whatever, I don’t want to be their Facebook friend, I just want food dammit. From the outside, it doesn’t look like much. It’s in a strip mall that’s definitely seen it’s better days– but my family has been coming here forever, so I got into the habit doing take-out when in the area. A two-item combo can easily feed two people. The portions are a little obnoxious and they pack the food in like it might be your last meal ever. It’s cheap, too. Under $ 7 for a styrofoam container that sometimes has trouble closing because it’s so full. What I’ve had: Bourbon Chicken: It’s a sweeter version of teriyaki with big chunks of chicken. I don’t know why it’s called«bourbon chicken» because I doubt there is any in it. It’s a safe choice when I don’t know what I want or if I’m ordering something super spicy. Honey Walnut Shrimp: Not worth it and it’s an additional cost to order it. By the time you get home, the batter has gotten gooey and is running off the shrimp. The walnuts are okay– but then again, they come with the dish and they don’t cook them. My least favorite thing here. Fried Rice: Typical take-out fried rice. I prefer it over the chow mein. Not vegetarian friendly– they use chicken broth even though they say it’s vegetarian. Just fair warning if you’ve got strict veggie or vegan friends. Chow Mein: Thick orange colored noodles, they aren’t bad– but I always prefer rice over chow mein. They don’t skimp on it, so you might have a carb heart attack before the end. It has veggies and bean sprouts and I always see them bringing out small batches so it’s fresh. Kung Pao Chicken: This has a nice little kick to it. I don’t know how I always miss the chili peppers hiding in there, but I do. I usually order if I am feeling a little stuffed up or coming down with a cold. It will open your head pretty quick. Spicy Chicken: Again, really spicy. You can tell this one apart from the Kung Pao because there are more veggies and water chestnuts floating around with the meat. I really like it though. Egg Foo Young: Just okay, but they usually make it to the order. I have seen it sitting in the serving trays before– but I would never order it like that. It looks sad. It’s really oily and the vegetables are mediocre. It’s cheap, but I would pass on it for a different entrée item. Cream Cheese Wontons: These are made to order. They are really good. Pretty sure it’s imitation crab– actually, I’d put money on it. Great way to start the meal. I remember them being pretty cheap, too. Broccoli Beef: Not my favorite. More broccoli than beef. I hate broccoli beef from take-out restaurants no matter where it’s from. I feel like the beef is a weird consistency. Some people that I’ve been here with like it– not me. Wonton Soup: This was a go-to when I was feeling sick. It was also before I discovered phở at an early age. It’s good, but you can find far better wonton soup. Tip: –I wouldn’t come here if there are less than 30-minutes until closing. There are a lot of leftovers. They will give you more food, but it will definitely taste like it’s been sitting there for a bit. –Go to Ralphs next door and see if there are any Pennysavers. They usually have coupons for a Buy One, Get One Free or ½ Off. Though it’s cheap, it’s always a plus if you can make it cheaper. –Their Arizona iced tea cans clearly state that they are $.99 cents. It’s even printed on the can. They will charge you something stupid like $ 1.50. Shenanigans! –There is a fee to use a credit card. I would bring cash. –They have a tip jar up front. Put money in it, they still wont smile. I wouldn’t go out of my way for this place, but it’s good if you’re in the area or just eating on a budget.
