I wanted to try the famous lavender cake and I was out of luck. I ended up getting the pink champagne cake because I didn’t want to leave empty-handed. Pink champagne cake($ 5.75): the cake itself was just okay and the icing was super sweet. I had to scrape off the icing to be able to eat this dessert. 2 more visits to Crème and Sugar and they were always out of the lavender cake. The lavender cake must be super delicious and popular! My friend was nice enough to pick up a slice of lavender cake for my dessert. I asked for the honey on the side, just in case it’s too sweet. The icing of the lavender cake was also too sweet :(I ended up eating my lavender cake — the icing + the honey. The guy at the counter is always friendly and helpful. 2 stars! I’ll probably come back to try the ice cream and the coffee. Crème & Sugar is not yummylicious!

Amazing stuff! This little café is absolutely adorable! Everything from the couch to the wall décor, the potato sack lights, and beautiful wood finish counter. Cream and Sugar is a place you’d find in Westwood or Santa Monica, hipster, where coffee connesueeirs spend their weekends. I’m so glad it’s here in Anaheim Hills! Joanna and Mike are super nice. It’s a family owned business and feels just like you’re in grandma’s kitchen. Every desert is baked and cooked by the owners. Not too sweet, not to heavy. I had the Irish Coffee ice cream. It was rich, made with fresh espresso, and so delicious. One of the best I’ve had. The lavender cake is also amazing. I don’t know of one place where you can find just one slice of cake or a scoop of ice cream to go along with your latte. This is such a great concept and the quality and deliciousness are proven with the long lines and busy enviornment. This would make such a great date spot. Or an after-dinner gem with your friends. This is also a great place for families as they cater to kids sweet tooth. Cream and Sugar needs to open up a second, third, and forth location! So amazing!

Best coffee shop in town! But forget the coffee for now, take a look at those cakes and pastries, love them. If that wasn’t enough, the customer service is superv. Finally, the atmosphere is amazing, it’s a place where can sit and enjoy a good book.

I’m a cake snob and trust me when I say their lavender cake is some of the best cake I’ve ever tasted. I have zero complaints. The atmosphere, staff, cake, and drinks were all a 10⁄10. I’m sorry guys if I acted like a complete crazy lady. I was just so happy and satisfied when I left. Thank you so much, I cannot wait to return!

I was super excited to try this new dessert/coffee shop because, as every one knows, I’m a dessert fiend haha! Came in one night for dessert to try their ice cream and baked goods. Sampled most of their ice cream flavors and was so disappointed in the flavor and texture. I hate«icey», watery ice cream. I decided, however, to try it on a brownie with lucky charms for a topping. They tried to warm the brownie and couldn’t get it warmed all the way through in their machine. It was super dry. I only ate half because the whole thing was just not good. I want to give this place a second chance and come back to try their cake, which is what they are more known for.

The snores milkshake is delicious! I love the environment, and the staff is super friendly! I can’t wait to try the hot cocoa float next time we go. It’s got a small town rustic feel and the dessert is delicious. So glad we went to check this local gem out!

What a gorgeous little coffee shop! We came in Saturday night after having dinner at the Japanese restaurant right across. We were drawn to the ambiance of the place, complete with mismatched rugs and furniture, paintings that took themselves too seriously, and a menu with the word«lavender» on it. If I lived closer to Anaheim, I could definitely see myself spending an afternoon in a place like this, writing and ordering drinks all day. We ordered a scoop of their lemon custard ice cream and a lavender lemonade. Both were great! I kind of wish I asked for the strawberry rose lemonade instead as the lavender syrup was quite mild and soapy… as lavender tends to be… Insane selection of quirky ice cream flavors such as blue velvet and milk and sugar(delicious!). Ice cream is freezing and firm :) I’d love to come back and try a latte or an ice cream float.

We love Crème & Sugar! They have a large variety of desserts which helps those so often times my husband and I have different cravings. There aren’t many dessert places offering such classic options such as cake/pie a la mode. Not to mention the homemade from scratch factor. Anyone that knows me knows I am a dessert connoisseur and this is a top pick for me! The best part is on top of all the delicious desserts this family owned business is beyond impressive. The passion and drive is inspiring. They are super friendly and 100% about customer satisfaction. They remember faces. This is just not something you get to experience in small businesses much anymore. Congrats on a job well done! I am a regular for sure:)

I came in tonight with my 3 daughters after their first place win today… and I have to say, the staff was friendly, took the time to give us samples of the ice creams we asked for and answered our questions about the cakes. We ended up with ice cream cones and a slice of blue velevt and buttermilk spice. I am super picky about spice cake since it is my am time favorite, and you guys knocked it out of the park!!! The blue velvet was great and the marshmallow buttercream was perfect(not t9 sweet). Your ice cream was some of the best we’ve ever had! I have been given orders by the girls to come in when you have cinnamon rolls and have them for the girls after school! We will be coming in often now, thank you for creating this perfect little gem!

Love love love Crème & Sugar! Their stuff is all absolutely delicious and the whole staff is wonderful. My kids love the shaved ice and always feel like family when we go in there. I cannot imagine not having this place around. The only thing I would wish is that they opened earlier because sometimes I can’t wait until 9:00am for my drink and scone!!!

The cutest little coffee and dessert place around! The décor is adorable. The cake selections are delicious. My favorite is the lavender cake which they drizzle honey. Their chocolate cake is also equally delicious. Tried their lavender ice cream. It was really creamy and good. The mint and chip was equally delicious. Not too sweet and sugary. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone. I hope they have continued success because these dessert and coffee places are hard to find. Treat yourself to Crème and Sugar. You know you want to! And once you do, you’ll be back for many visits.

I heard great things about this place through friends and of course I read most of the Unilocal reviews. Many of the reviews were raving about the Signature Lavender cake– so I said to myself, let’s try it. Well I did, and very happy I did. The drizzle of honey over the top was a nice addition. It was moist, not overly sweet(I ate around the frosting) and the lavender wasn’t over powering, definitely worth the money. I’m a huge coffee drinker, espresso, milk and foam. I am not into all the funny funky flavors or syrups. I feel it takes away from the taste of the actual coffee. However I went for it and tried the lavender honey latte. I was very impressed. It wasn’t overly sweet(like most syrup infused coffee) the lavender taste was subtle but complimented the coffee nicely. I enjoyed it. The décor is the cutest ever and definitely brings a comfy«homey» vibe. It feels like you are having coffee and cake in your own living room. There is nice music playing in the background and the lighting isn’t too bright nor too dim, so that’s makes it all that much better. The owner was nice enough to come over and say hello, she was friendly, warm, and very welcoming. I am one to look for quality or quantity(had a convo with the owner about this) so I’ll be back and let all my friends and family know about this new place. Look for them on Instagram

This review is for the cake. I have not sampled any of their coffee creations and ice cream, but I plan to. Back to their homemade cakes – moist, not overly sweet, and absolutely delicious. We have tried a slice of several. The coconut, chocolate lavender, blue velvet, tuxedo, and lavender. All of them are excellent, but if I had to recommend one it would be he lavender. Just make sure to ask them to drizzle some honey on it – it makes it that much better. They also have other baked goodies such as scones, brownies, and cookies. My daughter inhaled a a chocolate chunk cookie, and the brownie was moist and delicious. The customer service is excellent, and the owner is very friendly and personable. I have been there a few times with my young daughter, and he makes sure to talk to her and ask how she is doing. The décor is very warm vintage/French country(At least that’s what I think. I’m no expert on décor, but I know my wife would like it, and what she likes usually falls into the vintage/French country realm – anyone is welcome to set me straight on the décor) Please do not hesitate to send your business their way. It’s not easy finding desserts as good as theirs around this area, and I need to make sure my cake fix is satisfied. They are also nice people running a great little small business that definitely deserves to succeed. Now please excuse me, I have to go have some more cake.

This could be a problem… I really liked Crème and Sugar. My wife both ordered drinks and cake and didn’t have any complaints with the quality. My wife had the lavender latte and was pretty impressed by the flavor. She thought the lavender flavor had a nice subtlety to it. We were both super impressed by the cake. It was delicious and they did a great job of not making it overly sweet. I think it’s hard to find a place that serves a very solid slice of cake. This will defintely be a repeat visit. I was a little bummed they didn’t have more cake options — they only had two when I visited. Judging from other users photos, it seems like they have various flavors at different times. Oh well, looks like I’ll have to just go back and see what they have next time.

I went here, based on some of my Unilocal friends reviews. It is great for cakes, I did ordered the lavender cake for a birthday party and it was very nice. The frosting was a little too sweet but the cake had a nice lavender fragrance it was moist and fluffy, also I loved that the cake was layered, make for nice presentation on each slice of cake. I had the opportunity to try the champagne strawberry cake as well and it is delicious.

3.5 stars! It is really nice to have a cute coffee shop with a homey feeling right here in Anaheim Hills… and on top of the coffee; they also have ice cream! I was pretty excited that there was ice cream at this shop, so I went to check it out. When I was browsing the types of flavors, I felt there was a decent selection and then I found out that Crème & Sugar buys their ice cream from Fosselman’s. As a former resident of Alhambra, CA, I have visited the original Fosselman’s many times, and I am probably among the 2% of individuals who do not really like their ice cream. Yes, it is good and some of the flavors(chocolate covered strawberries!) are pretty enjoyable, but Fosselman’s is just not on my list of favorite ice creams. So, I did sample some of the ice cream flavors and eventually got a scoop of the Crème and Sugar. The ice cream was true to its name and was creamy and sweet. It just came down to the fact that I have better ice cream and would prefer to buy it from other places than here. Anyways, I did get a chance to try one of the coffee drinks and it was really good! The special cookie butter latte was very delicious and add a warm, festive flair to my cold December morning.

I have tried the dark chocolate mocha frappé, grasshopper frappé and the german chocolate cake. They were all terrific. The grasshopper frappé is on the sweet side, so it may not be for everyone but I love it. I especially loved it after a sip or two of the dark chocolate frappé. Such a great combo. I wish I could order a mini size of each and drink them together! As for the cake, I am a cake snob. I like cake a lot, but rarely love it. I LOVELOVELOVE the german chocolate cake here. The cake itself was light and fluffy and the coconut frosting was rich, buttery and full of nuts and chewy coconut. It just doesn’t get any better. I will be back to try ALL of their cakes now. The service has been very friendly each time I have been in as well. I sure hope they stick around for years to come.

A trendy new and cool coffee/dessert café in Anaheim hills! I usually get so excited when a new place opens up near where I live. ^_^ I like the interior decorations! it looks homey and artistic. Customer service was excellent and I felt very welcomed. Iv been really wanting to try out the lavender cake ever since Iv seen the photo on their Unilocal page. I decided to buy 2 slices for me and my girlfriend(Total came out to be about $ 12) The Lavender cake looks very beautiful and I just love the color, however I think it’s a bit too sweet for my liking, but that is just my preference. I can lightly taste the lavender, which is nice because I don’t like very strong floral taste. I should have had the cake with a cup of coffee, and then the combination would be perfect! I will defiantly try that next time. They also sell ice cream… which im just super excited to try out

UPDATE: I got a concerned message from the owner about my review. I was surprised because I gave this place 3 stars and had some positive things to say. The only criticism was about the cake. But on further thought, since their cakes are homemade, I can see why it stung. They wished that I had communicated my dissatisfaction directly and I would’ve been refunded for the cake slices. This would’ve been a sign of good service, which I had already commented favorably on, but it wouldn’t have changed my perception of the cake. I wasn’t seeking a refund, nor do I want one. Since this place is clearly conscientious about ensuring customer satisfaction, I’m bumping up my rating.

Really in love with this new café in Anaheim Hills, so close to home, I’m sure I will be back all the time as I loved absolutely everything they had to offer! Ice cream looked so good, had to pass coming here at 9 am, but mental note to come back in the afternoon. Beautiful and unique cake flavors, will have to try those as well! Hot, iced and blended coffee available, I went with a smores latte and it was everything! A perfect mix of sweet and coffee, made with love and care, good quality, loved it! I will have to try the smores blended version next time as well. Décor is cute, plenty of parking and inside seating, nice relaxed vibe. My husband enjoyed his as well, all around very satisfied and wish them nothing but the best!

Great Shakes, Cakes and Bakes! This shop is as cozy as a cabin on a snowy mountain top and as vibrant as an outdoor patio on a sandy beach. A warm corner and open room make this a great place for everyone from a family with young kids to the 80 year old couple on a coffee date. ~Cakes and bakes! Cakes are baked daily and range from different types depending on the day. Cookie, bars and other treats abound. Coconut and fresh baked cakes are worth a try. ~Shakes! They can make just about anything here. One if my favorites is vanilla ice cream with black cherry soda. They have about 16 flavors of ice cream and are generous on the tasting. ~Coffee and Espresso! You name it and they make it. They also have teas. They have free WiFi, several tables, a couch, games, cards, and even a chess board. The people running this place are very nice and genuine. Very reasonably priced and easy parking. I am a fan!

Welcome to the neighborhood Crème & Sugar! What a cute little family-run coffee/dessert house! After the most amazing dinner at Yagi we stopped in to the newly opened Crème & Sugar. As we walked in we were greeted with warm smiles, the smell of fresh cookies/espresso, the sound of laughter as a family sat at a nearby table playing a board game while munching on ice cream and the immediate dilemma of what to try! Crème & Sugar offers a selection of shaved ice, cookies, premium ice cream, ice cream/cookie sandwiches and a wide variety of inventive coffee concoctions. We decided to try a lavender infused latte and a cookie sandwich which consisted of 2 white chocolate cookies with taro ice cream in the middle. The taro ice cream tasted amazing and next time I’ll just get that in a cup or cone because it totally blew me away. The cookies were good and together it was an amazing dessert but I’m kind of a purist so if the ice cream is ridiculously good I’d rather just have that. The latte was equally impressive and the lavender flavoring was so interesting… move over Starbucks. We met the owner and she was being helped out by her Dad and Husband so this is another family shop that has taken on a labor of love… I really«heart» that in my community. I can’t wait to come back! Crème & Sugar is as good as it gets!
