It’s 11:15 am … Just about time for that lunch time crowd. Guess what?! No chicken breast or wings ready, just leg and thigh. The female cashier was really rude and unprofessional. Not necessarily to me, but I watched her and her bad attitude serve guests after me as I waited for my food. She also didn’t hesitate to show her frustration towards her coworkers by rolling her eyes and grunting. She didn’t seem to have it under control and maybe needs a little training on appropriate leadership and customer service. She also seemed to be barking orders at a young man that may have been new or in training. In addition, she could not properly handle the hand held devices that buzz/vibrate when a customers order is ready. Everyone after me and including mine went off way too early and she did not bother to correct it for the next guests. The tostada is a lot smaller than I remember, and they forgot to put the sour cream and cheese that it says it comes with. This locations demonstrates very poor quality of food and service.

Worst pollo loco I have ever been too Very very I mean very dirty there’s spills all over the place. More than half of the tables were very dirty and the spices section was super messy guacamole all over the place and salsa all over the table even the handle was wet you couldn’t even serve yourself comftarbly, restrooms were also very very dirty they need to keep up with their job tasks especially keeping it clean everywhere from 1 of 10 of cleanliness 0

By far the worst El Pollo Loco I’ve ever been to. Avoid this location if you can. The pieces of chicken they give you wouldn’t even be big enough to feed ants. The people that come to this location are also questionable. I came in with a coupon for their $ 10 meal for 2. It came with 2 legs and 2 thighs, 3 side orders, 2 loco salad, 2 packets of tortillas and 2 churros. The sides were probably the best part of the meal. The chicken that they have here are either crows or anorexic. The churros is drenched with cinnamon. The salad was whatever. They also do not have any butter for your tortillas. On the plus side, their salsa bar is always stocked, but their containers have gotten a lot smaller. Easy solution, grab more containers of salsa.

I do like this particular location since they make an amazing Chicken Tortilla Soup. You would think every Pollo Loco would have the same recipe for the soup, but based off my experience at 3 other locations I always prefer this location. If you order through drive thru, they even provide the tortilla chips, cilantro, and queso fresco! Yum. Overall, everything else is pretty usually to any other Pollo Loco. The drive thru cashiers always ask what type of salsa you would like, which is nice.

The food is decent but the staff makes no effort to keep the transients away. This is a picture of the back patio or transients regularly hang out and leave their belongings in shopping carts from the local market. Not exactly conducive to a relaxing meal at lunchtime.

Always clean, very nice. Maria made sure my order was perfect and the girl behind the counter went back to tell the cooks — no meat. Veggies always fresh.

Quick easy grab for some«healthy» food. Chicken avocado burrito is my default here with extra avocado salsa on the side. Sometimes my burrito will be a bit mushy from too much sauce. Drive thru is faster than other el pollo locations I’ve been too. Staff seem a bit overworked or unvalued. May be because of location and type of people that flow thru here. Consistent fast food quality.

Wow. I wish i didn’t go to this location. Im honestly scared, and am watching my car from the inside. There was a guy standing by the door with his bike, just standing there, and i made sure to grab my pepper spray. When it comes to service though… I told the lady my order, and then someone from the kitchen was talking to a customer and she looks goes over for a second and comes back and just stares blankly at me like i havent ordered. Uhmm. You just forgot lady, cause you cant do one job. I then tell her again, and she puts it in with not a single ounce of emotion. Hands me the ringer, and i sit down and watch my car from the inside. I will NOT be returning to this location!

Every time I’m in CA I must stop at a branch. This branch closes the doors earlier than the drive through. But are rather accommodating. Considering our large group and allergies they even let us in side 3 min till close to prevent any issues. The food is far better than Taco Bell or much as gracias. It’s not authentic since it is fast food but it’s the closest a fast food has ever been. (For my allergies) I usually get the 5 $ combo bowl to the best of my ability. The taco and burritos are good, and great for on the go.

Came here 20 minutes before they closed and the employee on the speaker stated«We’re all out of chicken.» El Pollo Loco was out of chicken. I’ve worked in many food businesses and what it sounded like to me is «We already cleaned all the grills and put the food away so we can get out early.» If a business is open until said time, they shouldn’t start closing down until that time.

I’ve tried this location a few times, thinking it would be better than the time before but i’ve been wrong every time. Food is either cold or just thrown together. Today I got a side of rice that wasnt edible. The rice is so dried up and hard it hurt my teeth when i tried to eat it. Horrible Horrible Horrible. DONOTGOTHERE!

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Had the avocado Chicken Burrito. It was actually pretty good. Accompanied by some of the avocado salsa(actually had real chunks of avocado) in comparison to the ones in San Diego. Definitely would swing by for a quick bite.

I was running late and needed to grab something from a drive thru. This EPL is located off Anaheim Blvd and Ball, just outside the Disney Resort bubble. Its located in the same parking lot as a Burger King, and a McD’s and a KFC is across the street. Service is relatively fast, and they recently remodeled the inside, making it more dining friendly. Their salsa bar is clean, and well stocked. Plenty of parking, but the way the lot is configured, you have to make sure cars from the drive thru and from the neighboring merchants don’t run you over. To get out of the parking lot can be tricky. If you are heading toward the 5 freeway/Honda Center, its easy to turn right on Anaheim Boulevard. Otherwise, you can hit a massive flow of traffic, and you begin to feel you’re part of the Frogger video game. Not my favorite location, but it is convenient if you’re heading toward the Honda Center or Downtown Anaheim.
