The place is called California Dental Group but has the same address so I’m thinking it’s the same place. I would give negative stars if I could. It was my first visit here and chose this place because it was closed to where I live. The place looks ghetto from the outside and it’s ghetto inside as well. I don’t have proof but I think this place is a scam. They try to do a root canal on me that I didn’t need. They only stopped because I wouldn’t shut up about it. And then, they were pushing Porcera(or something like that) crown real hard, it costs $ 1200, and non of it is covered by my insurance. BTW, this is for a tooth that’s 2nd from the rear, not visible at all. After rejecting the expensive crown several times, they drop the price to $ 850. Ridiculous. I still leave with a bill for $ 575 and I didn’t even get my teeth cleaned which was I went there in the first place. I go home and looked at my fee schedule on my insurance. The crown I got, porcelain molded to gold should only cost me $ 240. I call them the following Monday to question the bill. After fumbling for awhile, they name stuff that are not even on the fee schedule to get it to add up to $ 575. Ridiculous. The worst part is, I gotta go back in 2 weeks to get that stupid crown put on. Will never go back after that. SCAMSCAMSCAM.

At first I thought that my real dentist sold my contact information to a list. I don’t have dental insurance but this business says that their records indicate that mine is welcome at their office. I got a certificate for a free home teeth whitening kit from the California Dental Group located at this address in the mail. Someone who knows me may have used their refer a friend program to get credit for dental work. You can probably tell by the offer that this practice provides cosmetic dentistry but I can’t afford(or need) to pay for crowns and porcelain fillings out of pocket right now.
