This place is so good. At first we were a bit skeptic as there was no one there and the place was dark and hidden. My husband and I ordered a molcajete and we ordered sopes for the kids. Our kids don’t drink soda and I think all they serve is soda and alcoholic beverages so the lady was kind enough to make the kids homemade lemonade! The molcajete was packed with meats, cheese and cactus and the salsa that was in the molcajete was delicious. Not to forget the HOMEMADEFLOURTORTILLAS! Omg to die for now this is what you call real authentic Mexican food! Great food and great service!

This rating is based off of their shrimp ceviche. If you are looking for real authentic mexican food/flavor and you are in the area this is the place you should stop by. Let’s me honest, no one has ever been to a place that has the prettiest décor and authentic food. Great place to eat

The location is amazing! I recommend you go for the brunch, they serve A four-course, full-service dining experience complimented by champagne $ 40.00 Per person. I had the seafood Crêpe it tasted really good! the Mexican bread was warm, fresh and yummy.

The food was pretty good. On Mondays and Tuesdays, burritos are only 3.99 so I definitely got my money’s worth. It seems like a sit down place but I was order something for to go.

This is one of my favorite mexican restaurants. The foods delicious. I usually always get the quesadilla fiesta. So big and a great price. Brought my girlfriend over and she loooved the enchiladas. Said they were just like her grandma makes them. Also, they deliver to the bar across the way. Good for when I’m nice and drunk and wanna get my grub on. Great place and nice people

The food was decent. Not amazing but alright. But it was so loud I couldn’t even talk let alone want to stay in there. I left having a head ache and feeling very ignored. The service wasn’t the greatest.

Yeah, I also gave this place a fair chance. Prices are good, but the food was not too tasty. The atmosphere needs updating too. Too much loud music that not even the mexicans can stand. Only two stars for this place.

WOW!!! Not only is the staff quite attractive, but these folks have a real lock on «fresh food». The Carmita’s Michoacan are to DIEFOR… drinks are plentiful and well mixed. The food is just what you would expect from a kitchen run by your mother. It is awesome… you don’t need teeth to eat the Carmita’s. Just… soooo… tender. Please do yourself a favor and support this establishment. Fantastic staff and great food with wonderfully served booze… recipe for success in my book.

I give the food 5 stars… real authentic flavors… always good. I always get the steak fajitas and am always happy… give it a shot and remember to come back and write your review. It’s a hole in the wall but that is exactly what you want anyway… right?

Gotta support this business. It’s a little hole in the wall. by hole in the wall, I mean SUPER hole in the wall(menus are written on neon poster boards.) Tacos were decent authentic tacos. I had the carne asada. They were good but the cheapness and closeness of this place compels me to give this place 4 stars! Also, they were super nice and genuinely cared how I thought about their food. I can see myself coming back for their 50 cent Taco Tuesdays! Everything here is super duper cheap. Also, their tortas and burritos are huge. I’d give it 5 but realistically, they’re not Godly tacos or anything. They’re just like any other tacos I’ve had at other hole in the wall taco shops. But then again, I’m Asian and can only tell the difference between Taco Bell/Del Taco tacos, really crappy tacos, and everything else is chunked into«YUMMYTACOS» category. I guess I’m a bit easy to please when it comes to carne asada. If you made it in the crappy taco category, you really effed up. I mean REALLY effed up. But not you, Las Brisas– you’ve left me satisfied. I’m totally waking up and getting some tomorrow.

This is an updated review for Las Brisas(the restaurant in the back side of the shopping center). The last time we visted Las Brisas, there must have been an event or something going on, service was slow and the music was blasting. Felt ignored and it was just an overrall bad experience. However, about a week go we tried the«Las Brisas Taco Shop», the location of where the restaurant used to be, and they had $ 50 cent taco tuesdays. YUM!!! Carne asada taco was the best out of the 3 we tried(Carnitas, Pastro, & Carne Asada). Will be going back for Taco Tuesdays!

We were new to the neighborhood and decided to give it a try. After the first visit, I found the décor, food, and service was mediocre, at best. So we figured we’d give it a second chance, just to be fair. The second time was even worse! When we first arrived, we were told there were no available tables and that we would have to wait(indefinitely, apparently). OK… I’m a patient guy, so no problem, right? Except that several other groups walked in after us and got seated RIGHTAWAY while we waited. Huh? OK, OK, OK… so, I’ll wait, and I’ll get seated, and then it’ll all be cool, right? WRONG! We get seated and sat there for literally 25+ minutes while the waitress ignored us. Finally, impatient, I said something like: «Pardon me, miss… but we’re ready to order when you are.» The waitress was a total b_tch, and took our order impatiently, like it was some awful, unpleasant chore to have to actually speak to us. Meanwhile, we’re sitting here thinking: «WTF?!? Did we do something wrong? What’s with the vibe in this place?» Our luke-warm, mediocre food gets delivered 20+ minutes later and that’s the last we saw of the waitress… EVER. I mean she didn’t come back to ask if we needed anything else — in fact, she didn’t come back, at all, period! After waiting over 40 minutes for the check and several unsuccessful attempts to catch the waitress’s eye, I finally left some bills of an amount I thought would cover our check and we left. To sum up: I’ve NEVER had such horrible service at a restaurant… ever…especially for food that was ‘poor to average’, at best! Avoid this place like the plague!

Three of us ate for $ 20, tasty too. The salsa while we waited for our order was fresh with a touch of nice heat and the enchiladas, tacos and tostitos were reasonable portion sizes(not too large, didn’t finish the rice and beans). The server was pleasant and it looked like they were setting up for karaōke when we left. Bizarre Spanish polka music while a video played for what looked like a punk band fronted by a masked Mexican wrestler. The washroom was a likely candidate for the health inspector, the sink drain runs into a bucket under the counter, but it wasn’t dirty. We were the only ones there, but at an odd time between dinner and drinks.

I’m sorry… I legitimately tried to give this place a fair shot but the negative factors below were too much to overcome… 1) As a previous poster wrote, the music was LOUD. Not just abnormally higher volume, like BLARING. I couldn’t even hear myself think. 2) Since it is a small shop in a strip mall, one would think they would be good for take-out. Wrong. You walk in and all you see are tables to sit down and the window to the kitchen. I actually felt awkward ordering food«to-go». 3) Amongst the obnoxious loud music, I was forced to pick what I wanted off of a menu that was in Spanish. REALLY hard work if you are a wera like me. Wanted a cheese quesadilla but ended up getting a quesadilla with not only cheese, but lettuce and tomato. 4) Anytime I go to a mexican restaurant, I HAVE to try their carne asada. I wasn’t that hungry so I just got a taco. The meat that wasn’t burnt was good. I could barely stomach finishing the whole(itty bitty) taco because there were little burnt chunks of asada mixed in. Yeah, it was pretty nasty. OK, I MIGHT be a little harsh, as this place does look like it is an authentic, homey place. But c’mon…with all things being said, it was just too many negatives to equal any sort of positive. The second star was given in pity because MAYBE, just MAYBE some other items on the menu would be worthy of a second visit… not from me though! Sorry!

Authentic! The have great food at great prices. There was only one person serving the place when I was there, but he was fast. The place does not look fancy, but there is a feeling like you have been invited into a Mexican home. The only problem I ran into was major with me. There was no toilet paper or paper towel in the restroom. I hope this was an isolated incident. I will return and hope to see this problem fixed. They have Karaōke on the weekends. Great place to hit when you come out of Disneyland with just a couple of dollars left.
