I experience the same thing with this Doctor. Terrible experience. First I brought my daughter in her practice and she seems fine, so when I had my preemie baby from NICU I also entrusted her for his care. I call the office and schedule the appointment, her staff asked me if my son has the same insurance as my daughter. I said yes and they said they will just use those info to verify insurance before my appointment. Appointment day comes, my husband left work to babysit my daughter in the car driving around to keep her entertain while I take my preemie son for his first check up with his new pediatrician. I arrived 15 mins early office still close and I find out that other 3 people waiting with same appointment time as my son (wow how can she see 3 people at the same time?). I signed in and the staff asked for the insurance card and it turns out they hasn’t verified it yet to our insurance so they have to do that before doctor can see my son. So more people came with late scheduled and being called before us. over 1 hour has passed, my husband called and was shocked that we hasn’t even called in yet during those time, So i get up and asked her staff if I could speak with the doctor, she was mad when I told her I been waiting for 1 hour and blamed me about the insurance, which is not my fault it’s her staff fault for not doing their job, she scold me in front of her other staff, she told told me I’m free to look for different pediatrician if I don’t like her rules or waiting time, she even told me that it is not a red carpet walk to just go in and out. I completely understand that theres wait and don’t expect a red carpet walk, but over an hour and don’t know how much longer. Her staff screwed up getting insurance verification done ahead of time. She is very RUDE doctor with terrible bedside manner, I can’t believe she is a doctor the way she treated me and my son. I never came back to her practice and found a very caring doctor for my kids. I’m glad we left her practice.

My children have been seeing Dr. Manalo for the past, almost, 7 years. She is wonderful. We had moved away for a couple of years, but when we returned, she remembered them like we had never left. She calls us back whenever we have a question after hours almost immediately. She is the best pediatrician I have ever worked with. I cannot praise her enough.
