If you’re looking for real reviews about real food, sometimes you gotta go beyond the star system. 3.5 avg here does not even come close for the flavors and the tacos… The fish tacos were perfect, the governador tacos were perfect. Pastor was excellent and the mixta tostada was awesome too…
On top of a great michealada I can only say this hole in the wall got my tummy happy.

I love their taco Tuesday. Shrimp and fish tacos are delicious. I love all 3 of their salsas. Its nice and clean in their. Prices are good. Shrimp tostadas are good. Only thing is the charge extra for salsa and take a little too long for the food.

Bad place to eat, rude waitresses a very small place to have a live band playing. Food was cold my cocktail drink was not as strong as it suppose to be. To loud to have a conversation and Parkin lot was horrible!

Came here for their taco Tuesday special (azada, pastor, shrimp, fish) for $ 1.00 each. Upon sitting down I was given chips and red salsa I really liked. The tacos took a bit to come out but I was ok with it knowing they would be freshly made. The taste was average nothing to blow you away and the azada was a bit on the chewy side & would probably not get it again. Again good price for a quick bite (4 tacos and an agua fresca de melón for $ 7.55)

When the waitress told us that it was 2for1 I didn’t know how to react because I wasn’t too familiar with it since I never been to this place before. We ordered shrimp cocktail they were fresh and good size, also tostadas of ceviche cooked and lemon cooked and finally shrimp empanadas. We had so much food that we had to take some of it to the motel. Service was close to perfect we had a great time I wished I could had stayed longer but it was time to go back to Disney. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back I really liked it. Btw 2for1 is Wednesdays.

First of all the very kind lady that served us was awesome her attitude was great I felt soo comfortable eating there and I’m pregos so for her to have been excellent was legit sorry I don’t remember her name but it was yesterday and she had a black t shirt with a rock band on it loved there green beverage she suggested and the tacos were really good too I’ll be coming back with my husband again oh and the musicians were really good I enjoyed it there it’d be 5starz but only thing I disliked was the restrooms people can see u pee the doors not fit size perfect enough so at both ends its semi viewable and the lock I don’t trust it other then that it’s good place to stop by

Came to have dinner with my husband for the first time to this place. NASTY!!! It was dirty. The we ordered our food. I ordered the seafood molcajete. It was plain awful. The rice tasted stale, like if it had been frozen for weeks. The beans were out of a can, and my salad was brown! The worst part was that it came with crab legs. They were extremely salty, and one of the legs was burnt. I did not eat the burned part, but when I tried to eat the rest, it was supper bitter and the most nastiest taste ever. The taste in my mouth did not go away no matter what I did. Super disappointed. Only reason why I gave 1 star… Was the music was ok?

I have come her for a while but tonight our food server was beyond rude! I had to speak to the manager about her poor behavior. People like her need to be fired! I complaint to the manager i hope she does something about it as this place is fun without rude people! I wish I knew her name but she wouldn’t tell us.

OMG the food is good here. The first time I ordered carve Assad tacos and they were the bomb. Today I ordered the Empanadas de Camarones… Flavor explosion! I cannot even describe it except they were full of big pieces of shrimp and a spicy sauce. It come with a very spicy dipping sauce, but why monkey around with perfection!

So my friend from Europe is in town and I wanted to take him to authentic Mexican food since it’s a stable of California! so I took to Unilocal to find this gem. It’s a pretty quaint size restaurant and the crowd all seemed to be regulars and locals we stood out to say the least. However the food was delicious. The price was amazing. Idk anywhere you can find chicken or steak fajitas for $ 10.95. The guacamole was fresh and delicious as well! Our server was cristy who was so sweet to us! She could tell we weren’t from around there and was very friendly, talkative and accommodating! I always appreciate good service because it takes a lot to be a server. I would have never found this place without Unilocal so I’m very glad I did take to help! Also someone close by have a shrimp cocktail which looked AMAZING. I wish I would have tried that, oh well next time I guess.

What a fantastic place to have pop up in this town! Delicious mariscos and real deal Mexican seafood with fat portions and thoughtfully selected dishes that will appeal to anyone!
As an honorary Mexican raised the 2nd half of my life in Anaheim, this place is head & shoulders above the fly by nites spots and returns us to our seafood-​based Mexicali roots!
Great prices, fresh food, SUPER friendly staff and fantastically paired dishes!
Will return A+!!

The Molcajetes are AMAZING! Had the mariscos one and highly recommend it. They also make a killer Michelada at this place. Definitely a hidden gem if you like mariscos and Mexican food. Only down side is loud Banda music. Not really my style, ymmv.

Came here for the first time because of the reviews and the posts of the micheladas and ceviche de camaron. The tostada lived up to its name, very fresh and delicious, just sucked that it had about 4 shrimps. I’m not a big fan about the live band playing because you can’t even have a conversation with the person in front of you so that’s why I give this place 4 stars. I’ll come back during on a day when there’s no music for another michelada and tostada.

Went here because I saw someone’s pictures of the micheladas. The girl made me the ultimate michelada with everything on it!!! I got mango, tamarindo, cucumber, 2 shrimps. My michelada was great & the chips and guacamole were also amazing. The customer service was great, the young lady that took my order wanted to make sure she made the michelada the way I asked. I will try food next time as this time I only had the chips, guac and the michelada.
