Came here recently for a lunch break after a spending the early half of the day at Disneyland with friends. We were all hungry and this hit the spot. I like how they have the option of ‘Everything’ and how you order is similar to a chipotle-ordering-style. The serving size is perfect. It isn’t too much or too small, it’s filling. After we were done, our energy was replenished and off to Disneyland to ride more rides! Overall, I’d definitely come back. I love poke! :)

I don’t need to write a long, detailed review for this one!!! I ordered a medium bowl that came to around $ 9 after tax. I decided on a 50⁄50 base of brown rice & chips with the addition of crab meat, avocado & thinly sliced cucumbers. For a medium bowl, you get three scoops of fish. I picked spicy tuna, tuna & albacore, topped with green onions, sesame seeds, ginger and masago. You can mix the sauce however you want. I had mine spicy with a «dynamite kick» and drizzled with spicy mayo. I think a large bowl would be too much for one person, especially since they really pile up the ingredients. After having lunch there, I couldn’t eat for two days! The fish was very fresh and service was super fast. I visited during the lunch rush and waited in line for 10 minutes, once you get to the counter everything else is a breeze! Fast, clean, fresh and delicious! Besides, who doesn’t want to dump a bunch of raw fish in a bowl and shove it in their face?!

Ate here once, and once was enough to give it 5 stars. It’s a build your own spot, like how you order in Subway, Chipotle, and Pinkberry. Got the Large bowl, dumped in the seafood, dash of toppings, and hot sauce — and from the first bite to the last I was in poki heaven!

I’ve been here many times! Just go! You won’t regret it. The line is long for a reason! Don’t share your LARGEBOWL! get your own. U will finish it! Get the miso soup! Unlimited refills! Yes please! This place is busy. This place is fresh. Good luck with parking and enjoy the line and talk to ur friends while in line or make new friends!!! ;) It’s part of the experience… to look for parking and wait in line… Enjoy!

Oh my, of all the places I have had poke in the past year, this still trumps them all! I wish I lived closer haha. I know you may say that«I’ve had better in Hawaii» but this isn’t Hawaii so I wouldn’t compare it in the first place. Flavor bomb dot com, came here for lunch prior to Universal Studios as soon as they opened, waited no more than ten minutes prior. As soon as we were getting our poke bowls made there was already a line looped in the restaurant. Service was fulfilling even with it being very quick and efficient. Okay to the good stuff, the poke bowl! I don’t think it matters what I put in my bowl because my friends and I all had different variations and each of them were devoured due to their deliciousness XP since I wish my stomach could handle more than a small, I opted for the small/regular size and it was perfect poke/rice portion for me.

Poke! No I’m not talking about the infamous fb poke(although let’s be real, I miss the days when I was able to flirt via fb poking). No, I’m talking about the yummy fresh raw fish combination known as poke! This place serves poke and it’s set up is similar to chipotle where they assemble the bowl in front of you as you walk down the assembly line. You can add an array of ingredients such as brown rice, fresh tantalizing salmon, spicy tuna, yellowtail, avocado, ginger, and a diverse selection of sauces. I recommend the dynamite sauce if you like spicy! I’ve tried a few poke shops and this one definitely is my favorite. Although the bowls may look small trust me, they are a lot larger then they look.

Hands down the standard for poke experiences. I love that Pokinometry is a sushi /poke fusion spot. The white rice base is made sushi style and is so flavorful as opposed to basic white rice at other places. You can mix and match the bases, Large gets you 5 fish options and Small gets you 3, I think. There are plenty of choices for all the people seeking tuna variety as well as salmon, scallops, shrimp, and squid. Everything tastes great! I can’t count how many times I’ve overheard people moan with pleasure as they try Pokinometry for the first time! It’s that good! You have to try this place once!

Luckily it wasn’t that busy when we dined in tonight. I really liked the entire concept of picking and choosing my own poke bowl. I went with a half and half, of brown rice and salad. Then added all the veggies, and went with the first 4 poke and then added shrimp. Finished it off with mild heat with some salad dressing and sesame seeds. It was really filling, and I couldn’t finish it. I thought everything tasted really fresh and flavorful. Hubby thought some of the fish tasted a bit fishy, but with my taste buds, I didn’t notice. WARNING: mild heat is still a bit spicy. If you can’t handle the heat, don’t add any spice!

I enjoyed my salmon bowl at PokiNometry, and I highly suggest checking this place out! The fish was fresh, and the servers were very generous when they were filling up my bowl. Oh and for all you avocado lovers out there, they don’t charge extra for the first scoop, which I found very surprising since most places usually add an extra fee. Overall, I enjoyed eating at PokiNometry and I would go there again; however, I do hope PokiNometry changes the bowls they serve their food in. There are three different types of bowls for each of the sizes. Some consistency would have been nice, but that’s just me being picky. Anyways, I’m looking forward to eating here again!

The new thing of sushi — create your own bowls. Aka«build your own» like chipotle, subway and pieology. Love the idea… There are now many poke spots everywhere and I think each and every poke-staurants have there pros and cons. The pros at Pokenometry is it’s cleanliness with fast and friendly service. They also give you free crabmeat and avocados. That’s a BIG plus since you pay for it elsewhere. However, it can be a little difficult to find parking and it does get really busy inside. I had to stand and wait for a table after getting my food. BUT here is why I knocked down the stars… I got a medium half & half. Half brown rice and salad. Then I got all the topping, including the FREE avocados and crabmeat. The 3 kinds of fish I chose were yellowtail, salmon and spicy tuna. They mixed up all three together in medium spicy. So basically my spicy tuna was almost non-existent or should I say my yellowtail and salmon tasted like spicy tuna. I do not know why they didn’t put the scoop of spicy tuna in the bowl separately. It made no sense… Would I come back? Sure, why not! Would I get the same thing? Probably not.

Oh my Poke! My first and favorite poke place. You know the drill… 1. Start with salad, rice(white or brown), chips, or salad/rice. 2. You can get crabmeat, avocado, cucumber, and white onion added at no extra charge. Yes, even avocado. 3: Pick your Nemo: Tuna, Spicy Tuna, Salmon, Albacore, Yellowtail, Shrimp, Octopus, or Scallops. I chose spicy tuna, salmon, and yellowtail. The fish was definitely fresh and delicious. 4: Choose a sauce. You can mix sauces or add a kick with dynamite sauce. Make it spicy, please. 5. Top it off with green onion, ginger, wasabi, seaweed, and sesame seed. 6. Tell everyone on Unilocal and IG that you found Nemo. Pricing is decent– Small: 2 scoops($ 7.00), Medium: 3 scoops($ 8.75), Large: 5 scoops($ 10.75)

Hmmm… what can i say already that wasn’t said before. … it’s DELICIOUS! I may be biased, since i absolutely adore Poki and anything sesame but yes, PokiNometry is a fun, chipotle style Poki café. Saw a lot of people do take-out, so the table/seating ratio wasn’t hard to find. I must add, the line was consistently looping around the place, but the wait isn’t bad. Great service and fun combos you can create for yourself. Wish they would open up in the Los Angeles area!

Not the greatest poke spot, but it’ll appease your craving if you’re in the area. Similar to other poke joints popping up all around Orange County, you build your own bowl here. Choose your base, then protein(options of 2, 3 or 5 scoops), pick a sauce, and add toppings. Ask for a side of dynamite sauce!

I wasn’t crazy about Pokinometry! I really wanted to fall in love with this Poke place but I didnt! There was a strange taste about it that I couldn’t get past! It got to me… after a few mouthfuls of food and ugh! It wasn’t the fish because I do know it was fresh … I just can’t pinpoint what it was exactly! The employees were very friendly, helped out with the sauces and gave us samples before making a choice. I always go with the hottest that any Poke place has so this one they have here is sort of on the mild side. They have the same toppings that are offered everywhere else … so nothing spectacular about that! The ordering process is also the same as all the others… pick your base, choose your toppings and then your sauces! The medium sized bowl is the perfect amount for me. The large sized bowl is basically two more scoops of fish in your bowl. You don’t get any more toppings, or if you choose more it’s $ 1.50 more!(Guac is definitely extra) Parking does suck! There is street parking but good luck finding a spot at peak hours! I have been here both on a weekday and on a Sunday! On Sunday afternoon I easily found parking across the street! I might give it another try but there are so many other poke places that I don’t think it will be anytime soon! Three stars! Sorry Pokinometry we weren’t meant to be!

I finally got to try this place! I hate driving especially anywhere I know there will be no parking so I never even considered coming but I finally got the chance. The restaurant is pretty small in size, or just too small to accommodate the crowd. There is also not enough seating. The line moves pretty fast so that was nice. The ordering is chipotle style which is nice because you get to pick what you want in your bowl but for me it is overwhelming because I am so indecisive, especially at new places. I end up ordering the medium bowl with brown nice, salmon, octopus, avocado(which is free), and another scoop of avocado in lieu of crabmeat(which was also free!), green onion(and extra green onion), onions, with medium spicy sauce and dynamite sauce on the side! First, extra avocado over crabmeat, yes please! Every place should do this! The salmon was tasty, but I usually cannot tell the difference unless the place is really bad and the salmon is too fishy. I loved the dynamite sauce, I wish I would have gotten that sauce for my entire bowl instead of on the side. The portion is great for the price and filled me up! One of my new favorite poke places. They should consider selling just the poke by ½ pound and pound.

PokiNom! Gotta nom ‘em all! This place is pretty much the OG fast poke spot that induced a whole wave of copy cat places to pop up over the next years. It is set up like Chipotle, with an assembly line of people ready to put your bowl together. I easily found street parking for a weekday lunch, but if you go during the weekend or dinner you might have to park in the structure. I like the personal touch of the paintings inside the shop. It’s something to look at while you wait in the long line! Station 1: Medium($ 8.75), white rice Station 2: EVERYTHING!(crabmeat, avocado, cucumber, onion) Station 3: Salmon, yellowtail, albacore Station 4: Medium original sauce and spicy miso on the side Station 5: EVERYTHING!(masago eggs, green onion, ginger, wasabi, sesame seeds, seaweed) 5 steps to get a delicious, fresh poke bowl! Fish is fresh and tastes great doused in the sauce. There could be more of it, but the scoops are so small. I appreciate that the avocado is free and they move quickly and efficiently. How does the taste compare to other poke places? I don’t think it’s ~the best ever~ but it is definitely on par with others I’ve tried. PokiNometry is a solid choice to get your poke, but it’s not worth a pilgrimage. Chances are you have a perfectly good poke place near you by now! Food: 4, Service: 4, Environment: 4, Price: 3

Customizable fast food — like Chipotle, for poke! Poke is a raw fish salad made with different marinades and veggies. At PokiNometry, you choose your size bowl, your salad base(white or brown rice, salad greens, chips, or even a wrap), choose your fish, and what kind of toppings you’d like(avocado, cucumber, onions, masago, sea weed). Fast and simple! The staff was very friendly during our visit. My boyfriend was trying to choose between sauces, and they let him taste the different options. I suggest getting the sauce on the side because the staff is GENEROUS, and my bowl was drowned in sauce(I prefer a lighter touch of seasoning when eating raw fish). Grab a top if you can’t finish your bowl, and take it home to go. A meal is very affordable, between $ 7 – 10 depending on what you get. The restaurant was clean and their staff gives generous portions. It gets busy, so even though there’s a lot of seating, it gets full quickly. I went in the late evening, and the store was still full of customers. They have street parking, which was also a chore to find a spot. I can’t imagine what it is like during busy hours.

PokiNometry is a poke place in the not-so-shady part of Anaheim. They are located next to Harbor Lofts. This location opened since 2014 and seems to be the most reviewed poke place in SoCal. There’s also another location in Los Angeles. They have a variety of fish options including spicy tuna, tuna, salmon, yellow tail, albacore, shrimp, octopus, and scallops. The sizes include small(two scoops), medium(three scoops), and large(five scoops). The bases include white rice, brown rice, salad, wrap, and chips. For the top layer, you can choose from crab meat, sliced cucumber, white onions, avocado. The sauces include Nometry sauce(it has different levels of spiciness), spicy mayo, and spicy miso. Additional toppings you add include wasabi, masago, seaweed, sesame seeds, green onions, and ginger. I’ve been here a few times. On a good day, I’d be greeted with a tired«Hi» and half-smile but wouldn’t be asked what I wanted to order. On a bad day, I’d just be stared at. Either way, I would go ahead and order since I’d arrive hungry. The employees had their designated sections and when the bowl came to them they would ask what I want(well on a good day they would actually ask). There would be four employees. One for the rice/first layer, one for the fish, one for the sauce/toppings, and one that rings up the total. On busy days, there would be five employees behind the counter. There were two visits where I thought the service was rather interesting. On one visit, when the bowl was passed to each employee, they gave me eye contact and said hi and that’s it, none of them asked me any questions regarding what I would like. On the other visit, the first employee just stared at me without saying anything, the second employee just waved his hand around the fish and held up three fingers(I knew he meant three scoops but it looked like he was trying to do a magic trick), the third employee actually asked me what toppings/how spicy(yay!), and the fourth employee(the cashier) said hi and just didn’t say anything afterwards. I then told her I wanted a small drink and then she gave me the total. I mean wow this is just comical. But you know what, it’s fine. These employees at PokiNometry are very energetic when it comes to scooping up things. They’re really fast and they give great portions. I usually get a medium bowl with white rice, salmon(all three scoops), crab meat, and spicy mayo. Great portions of the salmon. The salmon was fresh and nicely cut. The white rice was similar to sushi rice regarding texture. The spicy mayo was spicy and creamy with the ratio being much more on the spicy side. The imitation crab mixture has sesame seeds mixed in but it was still good. I have tried the avocado and ginger on my most recent visit and I thought those additions tasted pretty good. They have a lot of seating available. There’s a note saying that you can’t reserve seats for other people. Next to the soda fountain machine, they also have a miso soup machine which I thought was interesting. There’s also some Disney artwork and Marvel artwork hanging up on the walls. Parking is viciously difficult to find. It’s these 90 minute parallel parking spots, probably around 25 spots total. It’s usually always full. Strange service aside, they have pretty good poke. I’ll be back for another visit!

I’ve heard so many recommendations for this place, but the first one I tried coming here, there was a long line and no parking. The 2nd time was successful – no line at all and plenty of parking(90 minutes limit). This was on a Saturday evening around 6pm – before the rush! Wow, Pokinometry is a lot smaller than expected! Not may tables were available but I felt my friends and I got lucky! The set up is that you should already know what you want because it’s an assembly line. You choose your size, then carbs, then your fish, then toppings, etc. Here’s what I had: Medium Poke Bowl — $ 8.75 — Yellowtail, Salmon, and Albacore, crab meat, avocado, cucumber, white onion. I can see why people rave about this place. Not only is the fish fresh in taste and it’s overall yummy, IT’S CHEAP! Out of all the pole bars I’ve been too, this is the cheapest, and it’s so tasty! I love that I can have all the toppings! The atmosphere is bleh… it feels like I’m in a tiny warehouse – so echoey and cold(I wasn’t actually freezing, it just has that«feel»). The wall is covered in mural that the artist also had fan art up for sale(and really cheap). Honestly this place FEEL cheap. But I’m happy the food is cheap but doesn’t taste cheap. Oh and I love the RARE goodwill boutique shop across the street! I liked it here, and I hope I get lucky again the next time I go! :)
