Great food. Awesome service. Went during blizzcon and they had a nice little giveaway. Really fun, will definitely visit again next year!

This place is THE BEST!!! We have come back to this restaurant for the last 3 years while visiting Disneyland and staying at the Desert Palms. We were just here last week for our daughter’s birthday (she turned 9 years old) and we asked her where would she like to eat? She was adamant that we eat at the Sandbox :) So we went and Russ treated her like royalty — even sang Happy Birthday to her — where do you get service like that? We will visit every time that we visit Disneyland. Cannot say enough good things about Russ — he’s the best!!! And the food/​drinks are awesome as well — never have had a bad meal. Love this place!

Such a disappointing restaurant. We stayed at the hotel it’s attached to, and after a long day at the parks, we wanted food and didn’t want to have to go anywhere for it. We did pick up as I hate paying 18% for someone to take an elevator up 3 floors and hand me my food. I ordered the burger and it was really good. However, I ordered fruit with it and what I got was a bowl of canned pineapple and mandarin slices. Really? We are in California and you are gonna open a can and dump it into a bowl and call it a side of fruit? It was disgusting. I know we are in a drought but fresh fruit is definitely still available.
We decided to give it a second try as my burger good, so this time I ordered all of my family’s food including my chicken Caesar salad. 15 minutes later, my hubby brings our food up and everything is there BUT the salad. He goes back downstairs and they tel him it wasn’t in the order and will have to make it. I ordered 3 things, and the salad was one of them, yet you couldn’t write it down as well? When I did finally get the salad, the presentation wasn’t that great nor was the amount of chicken they included for an extra $ 3.
Bottom line… if you want a good burger and fries, go with that, but do t expect them to get your order right.

Great hidden gem. In between Disneyland and the Anaheim Convention Center. We happened in there accidentally and ended up eating there 3 times. The food was great, especially the burgers. Prices are reasonable and the service was above and beyond. We got Russ twice and he rocked!!!

Fish Tacos = 3 corn tortillas and 3 microwaved fish sticks with a pinch of pico de gallo and «guacamole» like paste…$ 15. If you’re into this kind of food, you would be better off going to the 7eleven next door where you can get the $ 2 «Go Go Taquitos.»

Had lunch here on a Sunday afternoon. This place has a sports bar kind of atmosphere. Sports on several TVs around the place. It’s pretty small, with a bar and a few tables. The service was very good. Had a veggie burger and was pleasantly surprised that it was a double. It didn’t look hand-​made, but was good quality with chunks of veggies and black beans. I got it with a side of fruit salad, which was pineapples and a few tangerine slices… all obviously from a can, but still tasty. I was pleased that they offered a healthier alternative to fries or chips. Although after looking at the photo of the chips on this site, I’m sorry I missed them! Decent place.

Russ is the man!!! Stayed at the adjoining hotel and caught dinner a couple times after visiting DL. Very accommodating for kids and good value.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Terrible service and even worse food. It’s not sanitary, the server jake ate right in front of me and licked his fingers right after. Would never come here again.

Stayed at connected hotel great good nice prices good service friendly staff Kids loved their pizza. Pasta was great. Ahi tuna salad very good. Had one burger tasted great but over cooked took of my bill. Nice place close to Disney

Great spot to come if you are at Disneyland or at the Convention Center and need a quick bite to eat or a ice cold brew for a good price. My friends and I were at Wonder Con all weekend and this place was a nice get away. We came here for lunch and came here for drinks.
The place is not hard to find and what I love most about it is the fair pricing it has for the area. We came in and had their pizza which was only $ 12.00 for a large. Beers on draft did not exceed $ 5.00. For a Stone IPA that is great deal considering what other places charge around Disneyland. Pizza was great and one large helped 4 geeks survive the rest of Wonder Con.
The service and bartenders here are really nice people. Olivia and Russ (if I am not mistaken) were great to talk to and keep the drinks flowing every time we popped in to catch a break from the madness of the con. Seriously I was super happy to find this place and the great pricing they offered. Keep it up Sandbox and don’t change. CHEERS!!!

Just the worst. Service was terribly slow and the drinks were as watery as my salad. Please, please invest in a salad spinner, hell, don’t wash the lettuce for all I care. Just don’t do that to another human again. Also, they can’t split the check multiple ways.

Nice burgers and affordable drafts. Good place to watch a game and staff is friendly.

Damn good food.
My son and I stayed in the connected hotel during our recent Disneyland trip. Usually I don’t expect much out of hotel connected restaurants unless it’s in a really upscale hotel which this particular hotel was not. Still, the quality of food in this place really surprised me. My son had a personal cheese pizza which I tried, it was fantastic and cooked to perfection. I went for a green salad and the chicken alfredo both of which were fresh and flavorful. I drank an IPA and the beer was fresh.
Service was great! Friendly and prompt. This is definitely a place worth walking into or driving to if you’re looking to avoid the Disney food prices!

Great burgers and very friendly staff. Great location, started walking to find a place to eat and after awhile we chose to head back to the hotel because nothing looked better then what we saw here… Glad we chose to head back because it was great…

Great little bar with a couple of TV’s for watching sports. Very good bar food and great value. Russ, the bartender is the man and Grace is pretty awesome too. I also love to stay in this hotel when we go to Disneyland for the weekend. Nice rooms and convenient location.
