So what’s not to like about three stars? No, it’s not a four or five, I realize. Of course, It’s not. And I also know that, conversely, it’s neither a two nor one; but plenty are easily satisfied with mediocrity. After all, everyone can’t be A+‘s. If so, we wouldn’t have means to compare, to applaud the hard work of those who strive. I mean, if you want 5-stars, if you really want to be impressive, you have to earn it! Because, really, taco shops are plentiful, especially smack dab in the center of Orange County. It’s the«glass is half full or half empty”-type rhetoric, though. Earning an «A-OK» may push someone to decide upon achieving something more, or… it won’t. El Tata’s, in my estimation, should accept this review, then, as constructive, as «half full.» I believe El Tata’s could be something more if it wants to.(Simply offering a Taco Tuesday, like everyone else isn’t going to do it.) And although plating the standards – carne asada, pollo, and carnitas – is what’s expected, that’s OK; but what can you do to entice customers to return? For me, you haven’t quite made that A+ list… yet. But do you want to?

I give 2 stars for those that can’t drive or don’t want to. First the service. Ok. If you have to have delivery it is ok and only ok. I asked no beans or rice in my burrito and of course it was chock full of beans and rice. They didn’t listen. I hate the gristle in meat. Stops me dead in my tracks. There was a little gristle. The lady that delivered was friendly and ok but that’s it. Would I order again? Sure, If There was a holocaust and this was the only way to get food? Yes! Just kidding! No really. The food is ok and just ok. Good luck. On to the next place.

I love coming here every Tuesday for their 85 cents taco special! They only offer 3 kinds of tacos for that price(pollo, al pastor, and asada) but the portion, quality, and taste are better than most other«Taco Tuesday» places. Every meal comes with free CHIPS and SALSA, even TO-GOORDERS~(you can also ask for free refills on the chips) If you’re like me and you enjoy pinching pennies and getting the most out of your dollar, come try this place out.

Wow amazing. Great food! Good prices. They also do catering. They have pancakes, French Toast, huevos Rancheros, burgers, burritos, seafood, Teriyaki Chicken, and menudo. They have everything for every member of the family. One place I can go where they have something for everyone.

Not bad. I’ve been looking at this place while on my way back from work. The place doesn’t look too charming from outside but don’t let looks fool you. I ordered the Al pastor burrito and I was impressed with the portion size. The burrito itself was packs with Al pastor meat only and cilantro. They gave me a side of beans, rice and chips. Very good flavor. I will definitely be backs.

I work near this place and have lunch here couple of times a week. I love their tacos, well made and very reasonably priced, tasty. Great service, people are friendly. I’m looking forward to trying more off the menu. My co-worker got a breakfast burrito the other morning and loved it. They do a good job here.

Always pass by this place when i get off from work and i was curious about their teriyaki plates. Ordered the small chicken plate with shrimp. I must say, I almost couldnt finish it. It was alot of chicken mixed with shrimp, rice under the grilled chicken and a good portion of veg and salad. Really good and for a reasonable price too. Also took a bite of the carne asada burrito and that was good too. Horchata wasnt to milky nor to sweet. Just how i like it. Will come back soon. Just a heads up that it gets loud when kids are around. Its normal cause it is a family restaurant after all.

Ordered delivery($ 15 min) cause we received an ad in the mail that included buy one get one free burritos. Ordered al pastor tacos, asada burrito, carnitas burrito and a beef teriyaki plate. Portions are pretty big. Burritos come with beans and rice and also have beans and rice inside. Asada tacos were the best item we got. Meat was a good combo of soft and crispy pork. The beef on the asada burrito and teriyaki plate were pretty salty. The teriyaki sauce was very tangy… reminiscent of the tang in orange chicken. It took me 4 bites to hit the carnitas in the burrito and the meat was tough and on the dry side. Delivery was very quick probably 15 minutes. They also serve burgers and fries and breakfast. I would order again because of price point and convenience.
