Absolutely love this place. I discovered it a few years ago and really enjoy their food. I tend to get the BBQ chicken. It’s hard not to … The chicken is moist and has the right amount of sweet. I have also tried the chicken pad Thai, yum, and the beef kabobs. For dessert I like to get the sweet sticky rice with mango. You really can’t go wrong with this place. There are lots of choices and it is relatively inexpensive. The décor isn’t nice, but you can always get the food to go if you don’t want to sit there.

When I first walked in 4pm on a Tuesday, I almost walked right back out again. No one was there except the owners and a really large fish in the tank. I had to ask if they were open and if I could order food. This is my 4th or 5th different«Original Thai BBQ» and each one is a little bit different. All have had fishtanks and lovely owners/staff. Some are more«upscale» and decorated than others — this one is probably the smallest and most plain looking of the ones I have tried. This was, hands down, the best pad see eew of all the ones I have tasted at OTBBQ. It wasn’t just sweet, but also spiced well. Rediculously quick service and piping hot food. But also the smallest portion I have gotten. A single person portion — not the overflowing heap of noodles I am used to. Prices are the same as other locations, you just get less for your buck. $ 9.23 for Pad See Eew and a can of diet coke. Would have given it 3 stars, but the décor is really weird.

Do you ever enter a restaurant and wonder«do these people know what they’re doing?» but leave with a «they must be doin somethin RIGHT!» Picture this: You walk into this place situated in a run down, mini-strip mall. Once you step inside, you take up about 25% of the available space. The only visible person working(the owner? AND cook?), is already taking someone else’s order, tells you to sit wherever and motions for some random person(Another server?) to get out of the only available booth. A large fish tank with one lonely(and freaking LARGE) eel divides the room in half. On the other side a teenage boy(the owner’s son?) chats it up otp & sings on the phone w/friends while playing WWC.(seriously, you cant make this stuff up) i love ghetto in all its beauty. i knew this place had to be good. We had the Yum Neau(chili-lime beef salad) which was my personal fave, shrimp fried rice(good, but the tails were still on and not deviened), mixed veggies(meh. here) and dessert of sticky rice & mango(wooooooow!!!) and two thai ice teas. Although our server(a guy this time) didnt look the least bit the part, we had speedy and kind service. I would DEF go there again for the salad and maybe try some other stuff. total bill about $ 40 *note of wierdness, everything came with a healthy douse of black pepper on top– exccept the salad**

Small yes, wait is like a normal restaurant, location is a residential area. But, you will find parking and you should be able to get seating. Calm, cozy, cool, quite indoor area. We sat on blue chairs and benches on a glass covered table. The waiters were very freindly to us and all, they answered questions and were attentive. Mongolian Beef was good, I almost thought I was eating upscale Korean. well flavored beef on lettuce. Beef & Brocoli, some may find it too seasoned or salty, I though it had alot of seasoning and flavor but enjoyed it. This brocoli tasted really good. The sauce was the key ingredient, hats off to the chef. Pork fried rice you have your choice of eating a la carte, with rice or in combo’s, we choose to both pick one a la carte and order one pork fried rice. They also had chicken and shrimp fried rice. The PFR was awesome, real looking pork, good rice, small dose of green onions, quite a bit of regular onions. Fried Wonton We chose the Pork fried wonton, a small piece of pork, but very tasty, crunchy wontons, especially if you like small, fried bread stuff. Sweet red sauce was good for dipping, I also used wontons to scoop other food and Beef&Brocolli sauce. Drinks they will give you a very ice cold soda, and two glass cups with shaped ice, perfect for a fizzy, flavorful drink which does not lose its formula, the drink put the icing on a tasty cake. Another great Thai restaurant, have not had a bad one yet. I took one last look at the huge fish(meant to be good luck), said bye to our waiter, and walked out like a stuffed turkey. I would recommend this place.

My favorite restaurant in the whole world! It’s a different type of thai food here. I know it has that franchise name but the cook here is amazing. I love her cooking! This is unlike any Original thai BBQ or any thai food place. This is in an overlooked area and the restaurant doesn’t look like much. The inside is cozy and has the sound of lots of water running into fish tanks. Everything here is great but what stands out is the Amtrak rice, you cant find this rice anywhere but here, I’ve tried! The BBQ ribs, The thai house salad, beef broccoli, panang, thai iced tea, hot wings and all the curries. chicken satee,. Make sure to get the chili condiment rack. This Place will forever hold a place in my heart!!! Not to mention everything is so cheap! There is an area on the menu you can order anytime for $ 4.99 and the lunch specials are real steals!
